Ayato just never understood how she was able to make him feel flustered like that. Especially that wink just now. What was she thinking? “A-yato…” She winced, hand resting over her gashed stomach. If he had not arrived when he did, she would surely have perished in the fight. Still, as much as she knew that, she was still too stubborn to admit it. “I told you…I’m fine…”

“Just shut up. If you keep talking like that it will do oyu no good.” Seeing her in a condition like that filled him with anger.  This was worse than anything ever happened to her and he was sure if it took him a second too long she would be dead. “I told you not to go without me.. stupid sister.. Let’s get you out of here..”

“Ah! W-Well you see..!” The truth is all he was wearing were his boxers so he didn’t move out of his bed at all. His eyes widened for a moment. “The fuck? hy would you want to arrest me? Get out of here. Stupid.”

She shut her eyes as well, grinning slightly. As always, he was being a total sweetheart, and she felt quite content to just be here with him. “All right.” Ayato wasn’t exactly the most cuddly or touchy-feely person, but despite that, he entertained her whims and showed his affections. “I like the sound of that. Actually, I don’t want to go out, period.”

“My words. There is no need to go outside anyway..” he huffed. “Always asking me to do the small jobs. I need to speak to Tatara later but that guy can wait.” Of course Ayato listened to Tatara mostly but for jobs like that everyone could do it. Sooner or later somebody else will do it in his place. Brushing his nosetip against hers he then slowly let go of her before he sat himself down onto the couch.
