Is it wrong for me, a member of the Indonesian LGBTQ+ community, to want a pride parade to happen in at least Jakarta? :/ Like yeah we're a minority community and the past years things are getting more conservative, but we're part of Indonesian cultures[s] too, ya know? I just want to be accepted by my fellow citizens. I also hope this doesn't start any drama here, I just wanted to get this out since I'm frustrated and extremely uncomfy being inside the closet my entire life. - Tommy
I understand that, and this is fine. It’s not wrong at all. Although I haven’t heard about a big parade, I did see minor ones last year? But it’s more like gatherings though. (if our followers know, pls reblog with link/pics).
