Strange Concoctions || V & Moira

V couldn’t hold back a small chuckle at the woman’s disbelief. At least she was interested in gaining knowledge, which was surely much easier for V to provide than any monetary compensation. “If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is - infinite,” V quoted. “I’ve no reason to lie to you about the existence of such a world, especially when it’s been so… prevalent in my life.”
“I would appreciate your help greatly, though. This price is definitely something I’m able and willing to pay. So indeed, we’ve got a deal. Please, lead the way.” V was so out-of-touch with the usual human interactions that thinking to introduce himself had completely slipped his mind, and when he realized his faux pas, he extended a hand to the scientist.
“And what do I call you?”
So, this man did have some manners, so that was a plus for him. The types of deals that she was used to were definitely more methodical and clean cut. This was a different feel, but it was something that Moira could see happening more during her stay in this...bubble.
Giving a polite nod, “You can call me Dr. O’Deorain, especially since this is our first time striking a deal.”
Leaving the shop, Moira filled in the man about her situation, “While I do have a larger laboratory back at home, they did have me a...rudimentary set.” There was slight distaste in her voice at the mention of the set that she was given when she arrived.
When getting closer to her apartment, “Now, before we get any further, might I ask who you are? I know virtually nothing about you other than you have knowledge about a supposed Demon World.”
