This violin represents how a good violin can be made using Chinese wood. The Chinese wood here is quite the best aged you can find, about 50 years old. The setup is done professionally, from shaping the bridge to the crafting of the soundpost. After setup, the violin is played by a Yang Wei himself (yes he plays the violin too), and then the minor adjustments are made to the bridge adjustment and soundpost position. You can see we have used a good quality bridge (French or not) for the setup. The violin bears a label of the violin that it was copied from, plus a signature and official stamp from Yang Wei. So your violin will have an identity of the model it is copied from as well as a signature from a violinmaker that is known for good craftsmanship and tonal production. Definitely something worth keeping as part of a personal violin collection.
