God damn, why was it even such a big deal if itâs a date or not. They were here, together, thatâs all that actually counted. Even with that stiff and now heating up body underneath him. Sento just grinned gleefully when the other pressed his head against his chest and he wasnât able to ignore that fast beating hard anymore. Somehow it was a nice feeling.
âI will never die from sleep deprivation, donât worry. If this is even possible it would have already happened.â But then he listened up and his eyes lit up a bit. Holy shit, this was actually becomign a full-blown date by now and even his heart raced up a bit. While being pushed away Sento just rolled over on the grass and crossed his arms behind his head to still watch up. His gaze slowly shifted from the sakura framed light blue sky to the man who meant so much to him (and if yomeone would have asked him which sight he enjoyed the most, Sento wouldnât have been able to answer this, honestly.).
âSlow, slow, musclebrain. Are you so starved already or just want to escape this serenity?â But Sento knew that their romantic sakura matsuri time was already over and he wasnât an idiot to ask for some more time. This was even more than he ever expected and so he sighed heavily and slowly stood up to follow that idiotâs lead down to the fair or whatever it was. âWith you itâs a first so letâs not care if itâs actually an overall-first.â and while saying this he realized something that dragged down his mood a bit even though he tried hard to not let it be visible to Ryuga.
Maybe this was their time now. They should do all the firsts they are able to because⊠who knew how much time they had left at this pointâŠ.
And with this thought on his mind he grabbed Banjouâs hand and made a few steps backwards, dragged him with him to make it clear to finally get going. Just when the other finally moved he slowly let his hand go, letting it gently slip out of his grip and with their eyes locked in this very moment and an easy smile on his lips and a heavy one on his heart he maybe⊠maybe fell a little bit.
When his friend tried to slow him down by asking a couple of questions, his facial expression turned into a question mark itself. âEscape this what?â, he replied dumbfoundedly, but decided to not bother any further. After all, this was neither the first nor the last time he didnât quite follow what Sento was talking about.Â
He couldnât even reflect upon what has happened any further because Sento was on his feet faster than his own brain functioned, which was nothing new if he was completely honest. Maybe it was just out of instinct that he grabbed the hand that reached out to him as well, perhaps it was just a reflex that he, for the blink of an eye, tried to hold on to the hand before it was gone again. Something happened in his mind as well during these short moments, but Ryuga couldnât quite pin it down.Â
A second later, it was forgotten until he would have time alone with his thoughts again, and so he broke eye contact fairly quickly as well. âYou speak too much nonsense, you know that? Firsts are firsts.â
He buried his hands inside the pockets of his pants and casually strolled along the small river next to sento towards the fair. The shining lights could be seen from a distance, and the closer they got to the square the more cherry trees and lantern decoration could be seen. With the sun slowly setting, the view was just beautiful, burning, bright and still everything was engulfed in warm rays of light.
âThis is even better than I imagined!â, he exclaimed and hurried a bit more, just looking back over his shoulder when he reached the entrance to the market... fair.. whatever it was in the end. Maybe a mix of both.Â
âYouâre awfully slow today!â, he teased him. However, a second later a thought indeed crossed his mind. âShouldnât we rather be disguised? I mean, people know us, and some are already watching...â He glanced to the side where parents hurriedly dragged their kid away which was pointing towards the two of them.
