Islam, just like all the other Abrahamic religions, is extremely and clearly against homosexuality. There is absolutely no question about that part when it comes to the scripture of the religion. In today’s world, there are several Muslim countries where if you ask the people, a very disturbing percentage of the population will tell you that gay people should be put to death. They justify it based on actual Islamic scripture and the teachings of Islam. This, we cannot not deny no matter how respectful and tolerant we want to be. We cannot lie to ourselves and be so dishonest about something that is so clear. So I ask you this, a Muslim man who openly admits that he hates gay people goes into a gay club, specifically targeting gay people, and shoots and kills over 50 people, and you have the audacity to say this has nothing to do with Islam?

I have tried using a menstrual cup, IT HURTS AND IT LEAKS. I am a dancer, I use my body for rigorous exercise 26 hours a week, I can't have leaking and pain, it's distracting and uncomfortable! In case you haven't noticed, women have different bodies, and different things work for different women. For me? I have tried using a menstrual cup more than 10 times, every single time it has been VERY painful, and has leaked. Seriously, stop.

Ouch! It leaked for me at first too but I watched Youtube tutorials and eventually got the hang of it. Good for you for being so fit! I absolutely agree that different things work for different bodies- have you tried reusable pads (e.g. Luna Pads)? The goal of my post was to turn a critical eye to the neoliberal ideology about everything being about the “personal” when we know from the feminist motto “the personal is political.” Let’s get our bodies in harmony with the environment!
