It’s been a long time since any of the old gods walked the realm of mortals. They’re content to sit high above and far below the human race, judging us all and reveling any mention of their own names. But the time has come for them to return and protect those that so long ago offered them tribute.
The World Snake, Mother Gaia, and Atum have observed all of mankind for all of time. It no longer likes what it sees. We’ve grown too big for what the world will handle and they are displeased. They say it’s time for the end of days, time for the world to be born anew. The gods say otherwise.
If they can keep their heads and not cause too much trouble, they’ll save the world. If they fall apart…well, let’s just hope that doesn’t happen. The ancients exist among us once more. Our fate is in their hands. This could be the best of times or the worst of times for us all.
A bargain has been agreed on. The gods will rise and fall from their hideaways and take up mortal lives from start to end. No memories, no powers, just traces of the immortals they have always been. They will live the lives of humans and prove that there is still something to be said for those of us that trod the earth.

what are examples of jobs a character could have?
Literally anything you could think. Although imagine Khione running an ice cream store, Bast running a cat cafe, Thor being a storm chaser... Get creative!! The wilder, the better, honestly. If you're looking for ideas for someone specifically, feel free to let me know who!!!
do we have to stick to greek/egyptian/norse pantheons?
Nope! Bring us any pantheon you can think of as long as it's not from a current major world religion.
Will people be allowed to pick up more than 2 characters later on?
Yeah, that’s pretty likely. We always end up with a ton of muse and way more than 2 characters per person.
Is there a certain age range you would like?
anywhere from 19 to 40 is probably the best range to go for?? that’s usually where applications end up slotting in.
