@oldschoolvibing
i pray everyone finds their way back to God cause God is closer than we think he is
every single phase of me was necessary to lead to who I am now.
May Allah remove any arrogance in our hearts, and make us humble and modest people, dealing with everyone with love, care, and respect.
I blame my heart for its weakness
I blame it for my many mistakes
I say to it: how long will this heedlessness last?
Then I raise my heart to Allah
And I hope from Allah that He has mercy on me and reforms me
in another universe, my mom married a man that truly loved her, and i do not exist.
Best piece of advice I could give anyone is to stay away from anything that makes you feel small. People, places, situations… And continually check yourself about it too. Like regularly ask yourself if you feel like you’re closing in on yourself or opening up and able to bloom
nothing like Allāh letting you know He heard you.
"And make me a source of good for myself and for those around me, ya Allah."
still. after all this time. grief will visit me and sit on my throat, waiting for me wether to swallow it down or scream it out.
Abū Farwah al-Zāhid reported:
A man appeared to him in a dream and said: “Do you not know that those who rely on Allah are the ones at ease?” He asked: “From what?” The man said: “From the worries of this world and the difficulty of accounting tomorrow.” Abū Farwah said: “By Allah, after that I no longer cared whether sustenance was delayed or hastened; whoever relies on Him, He suffices him and brings him good. Allah said: ﴿And whoever relies upon Allah, He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose.﴾ [At-Talaq: 3]”
Al-Tawakkul ʿalā Allāh by Ibn Abī al-Dunyā (no. 52).
“And seek help through patience and prayer” [2:45]
I was about to complain of my worries to my companion,
then I remembered that You are closer to me than my jugular vein.
I am a servant, and sorrow squeezes my heart,
so heal my wounds, to You alone I flee (Allah).

Sometimes everything just hurts, and it doesn’t get better, and it won’t go away; you can only learn to bear the pain.
“And you have none to protect you, and none to help you, except Allah”
— Holy Qur'an, al-Ankabut 22 (via reverthelp)
