The main misunderstanding the "never comment on someone's body" people seem to have is the idea that anyone is trying to help the celebrity by pointing out that they are sick. That's not the point. Random strangers are not able to help cure anyone and that is not the goal. People talk about how these celebrities look sick and ARE sick because women and little girls are looking at those celebrities and their bodies and thinking they should look like that and refusing to talk about why those celebrities look like that because it's "not helpful to recovery" normalizes it. Its not normal and it absolutely needs to be pointed out especially when every third ad is for glp-1s or some other weightloss drug
