Sometimes self-care is very simple: it is about doing the one thing your body needs most: is it eating? sleeping? a shower? watching something funny to laugh? venting? whatever it is, don't deprive yourself of it.

Someone is harassing you online after you've told them to stop contacting you? Save that shit. Build a record and keep track of usernames, things they've said, the first time you told them to stop, and track when and where they continued to harass you with time stamps. It's better if you don't engage. It's better if you record, report, and block. If it keeps happening, you have a case for harassment and possibly even cyberstalking. If the website on which it's happening refuses to take action? In the US, go to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint against the website owner. Other nations have similar consumer protection entities. Keep abreast of the laws about cyberstalking and online harassment where you live. ACAB, but file that police report. Get it on the official record. If the website refuses to intervene, ask for a letter explaining why they refused, so you can file a complaint with the proper authorities, such as the police, government agencies, and consumer protection groups. Do not engage the cyberstalker. That is what they want. Not responding is going to likely piss them off, but having a record of what they said and when is building a case. I have gotten restraining orders against people this way after I went to the BBB and forced a website to comply with its own damn Terms & Conditions. Yes, it sucks that it has to be this way, but real consequences are the biggest deterrent to them doing it again to you or someone else. Trust me.
