However, as Cadence wasn’t around to save the day this time, Odette decided the fire had burned long enough and she had to put it out. Shortly after this, her sprinkler system started working.

Turns out that Kenjiro couldn’t stop thinking about Odette either, as he invited her out on a date that same evening! Their chemistry was undeniable, but Odette has the ‘proper’ trait, so she held back on the PDA at first. Kenjiro, however, couldn’t help blowing kisses at her - this upset the unflirty and proper barman, Devilspawn Goth (I don’t care remember his name but I’m 90% sure he’s one of the sims that kept stealing the kids’ food at the festival of youth). He sat down with the pair to express his disappointment, but Odette was having none of it. When he left, they continued their conversation... Then, Kenjiro asked her to be his girlfriend and they sealed their relationship with a kiss.

Then Kenjiro headed down the slopes on his board and Odette started climbing, but she couldn’t get him out of her head...

Winterfest Part 2

Winterfest at Odette’s house was pretty uneventful compared to her parents’ dinner parties... As it’s a smaller place, she only invited her immediate family - and no kids. Everyone apart from Amalia because I accidentally locked her in Odette’s study socialised nicely, danced to the hip hop music that’s always playing at Odette’s and gathered to watch her cook. When she called everyone to the grand meal, they smelt the dinner in the air and sat down to eat mostly together. Then Father Winter arrived and gifted Odette a coffee machine that she already has but whatevs it’s the thought isn’t it. All in all, a successful holiday!

Winterfest Part 1

It’s Winterfest again for the Harts, so Odette decided that she would host the family at her house. She got up early to decorate, then headed to Yukimatsu to do a little rock climbing before they arrived to clear her head. She got back just before her family were due over for dinner and started cooking, excited to host her first dinner party but I forgot to unlock the door so everyone congregated outside for a while.

Arturo gave birth to a little alien boy and named him Eugene! He couldn’t age up while pregnant so immediately after the birth he aged up to elder after Cadence aged up a few days ago... So they invited the family round for a dinner party to celebrate their birthdays and their new baby! Then because it was a Hart family dinner party and apparently we can’t have one of those without some inappropriate flirting, Nerissa put the moves on Amalia. Thankfully there was no kissing, but Odette got an angry moodlet from being proper and witnessing her sister flirt with her sister-in-law.
