I got into Undertale because of the 10th anniversary posts I saw on here. My favourite character is Undyne and I am an Alphyne shipper (and they're both autistic /silly).

Fun fact- when I was a baby, my parents pretty quickly started suspecting I had autism. Like, before I even hit the year mark. They got me assessed four different times. the first one was when I was a baby, and they're pretty sure the only reason their concerns were brushed off is because I was a girl, and most people thought girls couldn't be autistic. Two times were when I was a toddler, after I was talking and walking, because they noticed I was happier to sort my toys than actually play with them. Both times, that doctor (different doctor from the first) firmly decided I couldn't possibly be autistic because- get this- I started talking early. And the fourth one was when I was getting ready to start preschool, because they were really like "Okay, there's no way she isn't, the doctors must have been wrong." And again, they were told I wasn't autistic because if I was, they would know already. Since I wasn't already diagnosed, I clearly wasn't autistic. It must just be from my brain injury
I am level two autistic. I am visibly autistic and always have been. And I still got misdiagnosed as not autistic four times for complete nonsense reasons.
So no, I don't think not being professionally diagnosed means one isn't autistic.
Receiving social assistance money needs to be way less fucking stigmatized. Relying on a disability pension, or another income program is not a moral failing.

Well maybe I don’t WANT to work double as hard as abled people!! Maybe I deserve a BREAK!! Maybe I’ve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and it’s led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I don’t have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DON’T have to work double as hard!! Maybe if there’s the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because I’m already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!
Why do you think disabled people deserve less rest than mentally & physically abled people?
I was 8 years old when I was first told I was going to have to work 2-3x harder than my peers. I did it because I thought if I put the work in now and pushed myself when I was young it would pay off and make my life easier. I also did it out of spite so the people who looked down on me couldn't say shit without being factually incorrect. It didn't ever really pay off. I am so exhausted and burned out that it's taking years stuck in a slow and brutal recovery that I might never get out of. Not only did I miss out on so much while I was over working myself to be at the same level as my peers but I'm still missing out on so much because now my brain and body is so worn I can only focus on survival.
I am tired. I am done. I will not wear myself down any longer to match your expectations of me.
ohhhh shit. target is recalling their up & up baby wipes (fragrance free & fresh cucumber scented) because they're contaminated with Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli, multiple people are reporting discoloration & infections. i just got a call about it cuz i had purchased those but i've already gone through them 😅 so no refund for me. but im fine. if you have these they're saying you need to immediately stop using them and bring them back to target for a full refund. this bacteria can cause life threatening infections in children/infants and people with compromises immune systems (ESPECIALLY cystic fibrosis!!) and i know lots of other chronically ill people follow me!!!!

Homes were targeted and burned. Families had to be led to safety through the flames - rescued by emergency services risking their lives in the most dangerous situation.
It’s what the authorities feared all day. What they warned against and pleaded not to see. The condemnation came quickly and was widespread.
It wasn’t just homes, cars were also torched by young masked man in these predominantly unionist streets but the target here was immigrants and the message to entirely innocent families was: "You’re not welcome". In the north of the city, more people were forced to flee including an African family who’ve lived here for 20 years.
People being put out 'because they're black' - pastor
A pastor who has been helping those in houses targeted in tonight's violence says people were being put out of their homes "because they're black". Pastor Jack McKee was at the scene where multiple houses were on fire around the Crumlin Road in north Belfast - he says some members of his church "who have been with us for 20 years" were "getting put out of their home, had their house attacked, windows smashed, houses beside them burned".

Masked men shouting 'foreigners out' (Kelly Bonner)
Last night on the Lower Newtownards Road in Belfast hundreds of masked men walked down the street carrying bottles, bricks and masonry. They set bins on fire and shouted "foreigners out".
As they walked street to street, they were banging on doors, kicking doors down and breaking windows. Masked man set cars alight and at one point I witnessed them trying to burn a car until a woman came out of her home and told them it belonged to a "local and not a foreigner" and they stopped.
A young family had to be moved from their home by police. The scenes of this young family fleeing their home were really quite shocking.

Claire Hanna, Belfast MP and leader of the Social Democratic & Labour Party, has spoken to Newsnight about the "nightmarish" attack on Monday, which she says has "understandably revulsed and shocked" people in Belfast.
However, she condemned the scenes that erupted on Tuesday afternoon, suggesting that "negative actors online and politicians locally who don't really care what communities in north Belfast have been through" have used the knife attack to incite violence and seed division.
"What you're seeing is a race-based pogrom. We are seeing men going door to door asking to get the foreigners out based exclusively on the colour of their skin," she has said. "It's not based on what they're contributing to society, what their status here is and it's terrifying for people in Belfast who want this sort of politics to be far beyond them."
I am begging the people who design public bathrooms, stop putting disabled toilets in between the two other bathrooms and making the area between them all a super narrow walkway. My wheelchair takes up 75% of it which means if I need to wait for the disabled toilet (which I always do) I’m also going to be blocking the entry to one of the gendered toilets, (almost always the women’s). If you’re going to make all disabled people + families + people who don’t want to use a gendered bathroom (because the disabled toilet also usually doubles as a family/ungendered bathroom) share one toilet at least give us wheelchair users a little cutout in the hall to sit in so I’m not constantly having to press myself against the wall and instructing groups of people to go around me like a traffic controller.
Happy Pride all the queers in my phone. But an extra happy pride to all the bisexuals in straight passing relationships. To the trans people still living in the closet for their safety. ig since this is getting some amount of attention i'll also use this post to educate about the problem to the best of my ability (if anyone wants to chip in about it be my guest im certainly not the most qualified). and yes i get yall are upset about the porn bots but this isn't about bots this is about our sisters being harassed and threatened and having their accounts wrongly terminated. 2 years ago The CEO of Tumblr continuously terminated a trans woman and her alts and then continued to harass her on Twitter, threatening to call the cops if she continued to dispute the wrongful terminations of her blogs. Threatened to call A Person With A Gun to her home over an "explode him with hammers" type post. Trans women have been a continuous target for unjust termination by Tumblr's moderation staff regardless of their blog's content for years, and have failed to step in against users who harass trans women for a long ass time.

Why is it when a person of colour commits a violent crime against a white person it somehow becomes a condemnation of their entire race or ethnic group, and a sign that immigration is out of control, and that certain groups can never integrate into "our" way of life or what the fuck ever? And the Farage fuckers with the IQ of a teaspoon are out having themselves a little riot for the sake of it.
But when a white person commits a violent crime against a person of colour, suddenly people understand the concept of not assigning collective responsibility to an entire group of people for the actions of one. Suddenly, there's calls for "calm" and "understanding."
