Hey, Liv. I really don’t know why I even tried to do this, but I put my best effort into making Christmas cupcakes for you, Cupcake. I might accidentally poison you, but it’s the thought that counts, right? I should stick to Mexican food.  Well, for an actual present, I got you an authentic Mexican poncho. I’m not gonna lie to you and say that I made it, but I got my grandma to make it for you, so it’s still a Garza. Just think of me whenever you’re cold and wear it, okay?

Thanks for putting up with me, Olivia. I honestly don’t know how you do it. It’s weird knowing someone’s always got my back, but a good weird.

Liv. I'm literally the worst person at buying gifts (especially for girls). To be honest, my mom helped me pick this out. Merry Christmas darlin’. 

I’m not really good with words, although I do try. I guess that’s good enough, right? Anyway, here goes nothing I suppose. Olivia, when I met you I knew instantly that we’d become good friends and look, I was right. There was just something about you that made me think that. The fact that you listened and didn’t judge me for the stupid things I’ve done in my past probably was one of the reasons because as much as you might not believe me, it means the world to me. Having someone who believes in me. It’s a… A nice feeling, y’know? 

So I guess I just want to thank you for that. For being so amazing and even though we’ve had a little bump in the road as of late… It’s in the past. Gotta look forward, right? But honestly, let’s forget about it. I don’t care about it anymore. Thanks for being an amazing friend. Words could never tell you how important you’ll always be to me.

And now to the best part of this soppy letter, the present… I know it’s not much but I know you love music so I bought you a year supply of tickets to the venue downtown. That way, you can go to whichever gig you want, without having to worry about the ticket.
