so JENNIFER woof. she stayed silent until sunday when she posted some absolute horse shit on her instagram story. (i'll add pictures after thank u) she said a grand total of nine words. the picture has the ol' "i've been at a loss for words" bs but the funny thing abt it is that she didn't even write that she literally just screenshat someone else's story and added empty words. after that post, all she's been doing is posting overused quotes to her story and offering no information to her mass following about donations or petitions or just anything helpful in general. she also took part in the black out tuesday trend (which is another absolute shit storm that made me lose it a little bit) and all she had to offer up for a caption was "🖤" no words or anything. just "🖤". but TONIGHT. she posted another story saying people should just walk out into their backyards and shine a flashlight into the sky as a form of protest? ????? what in the goddamn hell ????? anyway. white silence is violence ❤️ call people out on their shit ❤️ call CELEBRITIES out on their shit ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ she cares more about her white suburban following than she does about things that actually matter goodbye

And, he's not white. The use of the N-word among people of color isn't always as cut and dry as that, whether you like that or not. You don't have to give him a chance. And no one else of color has to either, but it's not really up to white folks to take him to task endlessly over this. He'll either get it right or he won't. I'd rather he learn than apologize under duress without changing his behavior.

You're welcome to accept or not an accept an apology not directed at you as you wish, but watching white people debate how anyone should feel about this is tiresome and frankly not much better than a half-assed apology. I decide whether I'm mad, not you. He did a shitty thing, he needs time to get past his programmed reactions, which he may or may not. But I've seen this too many times with people I know to cancel a person for not being born an anti-racist.

after many black people have been angered by his apology, i decided to not accept it. i didn't make that decision first. i'm simply supporting those who were affected by his words who chose not to accept it. it literally shouldn't be a debate. also like i said before he's a grown ass man. he has had 32 years to figure out how not to be racist. i don't know how long you think it takes to educate yourself on this
