@derinthescarletpescatarian said something about The Wiggles doing a version of this, and I had to investigate, and it's amazing.
(via the wiggles)
Has anyone noticed that there are way more Wiggles than there used to be. Like they had to replace the original guys as they got old but it's gone further than that. Is it the Wiggles spawning season or what.
Does this imply that a large percentage of the new Wiggles will die or be consumed by predators, leaving the survivors as a new generation to grow old until more replacement Wiggles are needed?
Either that or the fertiliser runoff from farms into the Wiggles environment has caused a sudden abundance of food and their oxygen consumption will soon suffocate many more vulnerable species in the area.
What species are The Wiggles competing with, and is it possible that new Wiggles could take over the niches that these other species currently occupy?
Not sure, but whatever their role is it doesn't require the ability to make a palatable fruit salad or vegetable soup.
the most annoying people are people who don't understand storytelling. they be like "oooo how convenient that this thing happened to the main character in the very beginning". yeah no shit. that's why the story begins here
that some people respond to any well-foreshadowed reveal with “ugh that plot twist was so predictable” proves bad faith criticism has rotted their brains to the point they think it’s bad writing if they can correctly identify information the writers were intentionally giving them
Sometimes the point of the reveal is not to shock you. Sometimes the point is anticipation of the reveal. You know it’s coming, just not when, how, or what the consequences will be. And sometimes that can be so much more interesting than not seeing it coming at all.
Another screen shot study. This time focusing on colors.

If you are silent about your pain they'll kill you and say you enjoyed it - Zora Neale Hurston
This is one of those posts where I feel like I'm doing others and myself a disservice by not sharing. I wish someone had shown me this a long time ago.
Maybe I'd be having to do less work to break out of this shell, now.
...All of the above.
Tell your truth, and don't be afraid to have it be heard... because this is not a dress rehearsal.
It's difficult when you've spent years being a "good person", a "exceptional one" and the first time you complain, people left you. Even some of the ones who say they loved you. But once the fake people leave you, the trustful ones will be able to enter.
You know what I don’t get? When fanfic authors apologize for long chapters. It’s like? You gave me bonus content, for free, and you’re sorry about it? Bruh. I have already named my firstborn after you. Dude.
You know what else I don’t get? When they apologize for short updates. It’s like: look at these new words I gave you! Sorry I didn’t give you even more free words. Bro, that’s at least two words that I did not have yesterday. For free. Dude. Thank you.
And another thing: when people drop out of nowhere with a surprise update and then apologize for it taking a while. Like, dude, I wasn’t expecting anything, and you gave me words. I thought this fic was abandoned, but wait: there’s more. You just popped in and reminded me that this is a Good Fic that I should probably reread. You made my goshdarn day.
Basically fanfic writers are under no obligation to publish anything so when they do update it’s always a net positive because the story is longer now, and I have something to read, so thank you so much to everyone who writes fic at whatever pace or quantity they want.
Explain to me how I can BOTH agree wholeheartedly with this a a reader…
AND
…really really need to hear this as a writer.
SAME. THANK YOU, OP. ♥️
Amazing night watching one of my favourite movies with the awesome RSNO playing the score live.
