Thank you to everyone who drew, wrote and participated in Ollix Week 2025! This is my first time hosting an event like this, and I am humbled by everyone who participated. You guys have blown my expectations out of the squid-infested water!
I promise to return to the challenge Next Year, with some new prompts that I actually came up with While the event was going on!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for celebrating these funky little guys with me. And remember: You have the power to put the art you want to see in the world! Don't let a week-long event stop you, keep doing what you love forever, and you'll never run out of things to obsess over!
It is with heavy hearts that all of us at Ollix Week wish a fond farewell to Agent @stellar-collective on their mission. While the details of their mission are classified, we send our fondest thanks for bringing our Silly Little Guys into the fandom mainstream.
Your artistic talent and kind heart will be sorely missed this coming year. Heck, without you this blog would not exist- not just because of the rarity of the pairing, but the Handler behind it might not have stuck around the fandom long enough to establish such a foothold.
Godspeed, Brownie. 🫡 may you return from your mission safe, sound, and a fourth gam waiting for you. Lord knows, the rest of us will be.
". . . So, who's going first?" Ameri looked at his companion with a wry grin as he placed down his cup of coffee.
"You should. After all, your Phoenix could have stopped it." Ollie looked at him, dark brown eyes staring straight up into the green eyes of his companion.
"I know. I really shouldn't be surprised, you know?" He sighed, taking a sip. "Let's review the facts. Our Phoenixes broke into a Zoraxis base. Then set it on fire."
"That sounds about right."
Ameri just groaned, eyes closing in absolute indignation. "Covering this up is going to be such a pain."
"Well, they got the footage burned."
"A little more recklessness and law enforcement will finally connect the dots."
"It's not that bad."
Ameri looked at Ollie in complete disbelief. "It is that bad." He took off his glasses to wipe his face. "While I understand dealing with your Phoenix and mine is difficult, the paperwork they cause is... well, I have a cover job and I sometimes wonder if I should just be in logistics full time because of this." He paused, before turning to his companion. "But we both know I won't ever quit this job."
"Why is that?"
"I want them to continue having fun. I don't want them to think of it as something to file over and over again. Weigh it, you know? I mean, I'd appreciate it if they think things through but not to the point they overthink things. An overthinking Phoenix is not a happy Phoenix."
"Yours too, huh?"
"Most people don't believe me when I say my Phoenix is quite the cautious one. They tend to see the explosions and pretend it's all that's it to them. But we both know and saw that it's a lot more complicated than that."
"... Does yours... well, never mind. It's not my place."
"If you're asking what I think you're asking, all I can say is to just give yours a safe place and decompress. Ask if he wants to talk about it. If he wants to, great. But if not, just drop it for now and offer something else. At least, that's what I do with Florian."
"How do you... cope?"
"Oh, I don't. Just like her, I tend to pretend it doesn't bother me until I find the right way to cope with it. Why do you think I set this up? This is one of my many ways to cope."
"What about the waiting?"
"She waited first. I asked how she did it. But how do you do it?"
"I focus on treating other agents so I don't think much about it. I mean, there's no shortage of them."
Ameri chuckled before seeing the door opened by two agents. "Hello you two."
"Feather, you're back."
"Ollie, hi!" Ollie's Agent Phoenix, Bluenix (Nix for short), turned to him and approached with a mischievous grin. "I swear we haven't gotten in much trouble this time."
"Are you hurt in any way?" He fussed over, checking his boyfriend over with a critical eye before sighing in relief. You're not. That's a relief. I was worried."
"I'm fine, really. Ate made sure we didn't get into too much trouble."
Ameri raised his eyebrow at his Phoenix as they took his cup of coffee and drank the rest without batting an eye. "What kind of trouble did you get into this time, hm?"
"Not much. We just missed you." They grinned before watching the other two lover birds talk. "They're adorable, aren't they?"
"Stop trying to avoid the topic. What happened?"
Florian tried to look away, only to see another Ollie waltz in.
"Ameri, Phoenix is—There's another one?!"
"Hi, Ollie." Florian waved, noticing Peanut walk in. "Pea."
The two brunettes looked at the other pair of Ollie and Phoenix with a wry look.
"Yeah. I'm seeing why you needed to start a support group, Ameri."
"You think?!" Ameri looked at Florian in complete disbelief before covering his face with his arms to suppress the scream.
"Bahala na si Batman, I guess."
"This isn't meant be Batman's job!" Ameri glared at them with complete indignation. "And don't you dare be all 'leave it to fate'. Can't you just not set stuff on fire?"
"They're Zoraxis bases." Nix shrugged, enjoying the company of his Ollie. Pea just smiled at the memory.
Pea's Ollie took the seat beside Ameri and just sighed. "Well, at least we know we have someone to talk to in cases like this."
a short animatic to Never The Muse by Madilyn Mei! i wish i could’ve done more of the song, but i’m proud of how it turned out regardless!
a massive thank you to @sweetstwawbewwymilk for hosting this event, this silly little rarepair is really important to me and it’s been INCREDIBLE to get more content for them!!!! this has been a blast <3
time taken: three days
programs used: firealpaca and iMovie
OBVIOUSLY i had to give them a nice day at the beach :] they went after Ollie found out that Phoenix had never been (“does sitting on the beach after waking up horrifically injured because you just narrowly saved the world and almost died in the process count?” “no!!!”)
i had so many ideas for this day that i literally had to cut myself off before it got too big to finish in time lol
Dunmeshi counts as food to me. Ollie’s enjoying a packed lunch of monster food with his very big chimera joyfriend. I don’t do much art, but this was the best way to do this concept justice without putting way too much thought into writing with it.
"Phoenix, there you are. I heard people are looking for you, so I came to find you." Ollie walked up to Agent Phoenix, watching as they were wrapping up something and sealing it with egg wash. "What are you doing right now?"
"... I saw lumpia wrappers for sale so I just... went for it. I am so glad for a mixer for that." Phoenix grinned, putting the newly wrapped object aside in a separate tray.
"Oh. Well, I—"
"Let them squirm for a few more hours. They can't really miss me. It's my day off." Phoenix beckoned him to come closer, letting him watch their movements closely.
Their telekinesis helped pin down the wrapper as they wrapped the ground meat and vegetables around it, the brush from the egg wash floating as it secured the sides. "Do you want to help?"
"Oh. I'm not... well, I'm not quite good at that. It's alright."
"Well, you're already here. Might as well, right?" Phoenix smiled, eyes slightly amused. There was an odd satisfaction in their eyes when Ollie gave in and washed his hands. "Thanks."
"So, how do I help?"
"Like this." Phoenix gently set up a station for him before placing their hand on top of his. There was a subtle heat on their cheeks as they slowly guided the spoon to pour in the filling on the wrapper.
Ollie tried to memorize the instructions but the sensation of Phoenix's hands on top of his own was overwhelming.
"Did you get it?"
"... Y-yeah."
Phoenix stared at him for a few seconds before laughing. "You try it on your own."
He merely looked away under their intense gaze. "Sure."
Needless to say, their gaze served as a distraction.
Ollie found himself secretly wishing for a distraction. Any distraction.
"Phoenix? Are you there?" A familiar voice, the female who basically locked both of them in a room walked in. "People are—traydor!" She was scowling before yanking them away from Ollie.
"Firelight. I am so glad you're here!" Ollie practically tried to fight his internal tears. "I have no idea how to make this."
"That's because Phoenix is a horrible teacher. That's it. Out. Get out."
"H-hey! This isn't how you treat your bestie!"
"If you want to be treated badly, remain stubborn and I will tell Ollie every. sordid. detail." Firelight grinned, before successfully pushing Phoenix out the door.
"You're being horrible!"
"You're being summoned by R&D. I'd curse you out but it's funnier if Ollie understands my insults. Now go. You're in trouble for teaching a certain robot some colorful swear words."
"Oh come on!"
"At least add a translation you idiot! That's what you're in trouble for!" Firelight slammed the door on Phoenix before coming back to Ollie. "Sorry about that."
Ollie could only have a wry grin before looking to her. "A little help?"
"Sure. But I want to be mean and teach you how to make one of his favorite snacks."
"Why?" Ollie looked at her with a confused expression.
Firelight merely smiled with mischief. "No reason to worry about. This is me being absolutely awful to my bestie."
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
The Kingdom of Eod and the Kingdom of Zoraxis make a deal to end their eternal war: Peace in exchange for the hand of the Crown Prince. This is a great idea to everyone except the Crown Prince. While they suffer through the banquet and eventually escape to their special place, a certain Knight of Zoraxis might change their fate.

@ollix-week-ieytd Day 3: Animals
These first three chapters are kind of a semi-trilogy before I get into the au stuff for the next two days, so I had to cap off their early relationship nicely.
as per the results of the poll earlier this month, i drew my ghost hunters au, I Expect You To Haunt!
fic with context below! (2k words) cw for mentions of death and generic spooky ghost stuff
Phoenix had made it barely in the nick of time.
A minute later, and Roxana would've succeeded in setting the bombs in the boiler room. Zor would've killed her, and taken out the GHA in the process.
Phoenix didn't let that happen, though. Roxana had been snapped free of Zor's control. All the explosives were now safely back in the cardboard box labeled "KBOOM" and they were moving towards the door. And good thing, too. The boiler room was uncomfortably warm.
"…What do you think will happen when Morales finds out?" Roxana asked, barely audible above the hissing of the pipes. "One of his own, targeted by a ghost in his own headquarters. No one thought it could happen, so no one believed me. It's frightening."
Suddenly, Phoenix froze. A chill ran up their spine despite the heat. There it was, the thing they feared above all; that awful, familiar darkness sweeping into their peripheral. That shadow made of teeth.
"No, no, no…!" Phoenix forced their feet into action, flinging out their arms and shoving Roxana out the door so hard she stumbled and fell. They leapt to follow her when suddenly, a clawed hand seized their wrist, jerking them to a stop.
"Phoenix!" Roxana cried, jumping to her feet, but then the door slammed shut with an echoing clang. Phoenix heard the hum of a ghostly seal as the lock clicked.
"So… you tricked Prism into believing in you." Zor hissed in their ear, their rotten breath hotter still than the air around. Pure terror rolled down their back.
They could feel it. The teeth closing down around their head, the endless eyes filled with nothing but hate.
Zor filled the room, one oozing, burning, grasping shadow made of jagged fangs and hunter's blood. This was standing on the tongue of a bear, balancing between the jaws of this beast beyond understanding. Phoenix was caught beneath the thumb of a devil made of fury and vengence, flooding the small room with a prey-fear so thick that it dripped from the ceiling.
This couldn't be a ghost. This was a monster.
They tried to stumble towards the door, but the claws, the claws dug into their arm. They felt the needlepricks through their thick jacket, making their blood run cold.
Then, Phoenix started to get dragged backwards, deeper into the haze.
The overwhelming instinct was to give in. To let fear kill all thought and do what the shadow wanted. That's what had happened last time; their vault over the edge of the roof. Thoughtless. Automatic. The only possible thing to do.
"Even the great ghost hunter Phoenix will eventually burn out." Zor continued, a smile in their two-toned voice.
Wait. No.
What were they doing? They knew better than this. Floriana had made sure of that. This was a ghost, just like all the other ghosts. More or less. Zor just put on a good show.
"Let go!" Phoenix fought against Zor's grip, trying to wrench their arm away. They heard a tearing noise, then suddenly, they were free, stumbling and falling to the floor.
They barked a laugh, their hand drifting up towards their freshly ripped sleeve. Those claws couldn't hold them.
"Oh, fine."
Zor's rage instantly ramped up to eleven. It spilled off of them like radiating heat, sending the electronic boilers into overdrive.
The screws on the pipes started to pop, filling the air with steam and heat. It had been extremely, uncomfortably warm before, but no worse than a humid midsummer day. Now, they could feel it getting dangerous, their nerves screeching that it was too hot, too hot, TOO HOT!
They tried to rise to their feet, the movement making their head spin, but their legs wouldn't hold them and they made it barely two steps before they collapsed again.
The heat was actively unbearable now, the steam choking them as they fell to their hands and knees, sweat running down their face and splattering against the floor. Their vision was starting to go dark at the edges as they gasped, their heart thudding in their ears. The steam was starting to taste like blood.
“You'll join me one of these days.” Zor whispered, their voice composed even as their fury drove the temperature sky high. Phoenix could feel their claws tapping on their shoulder. “I dearly hope it will be today. Either way… be seeing you.”
Zor’s presence withdrew, leaving Phoenix barely conscious on the floor.
And they realized that it was too late. The door was still locked. Roxana wouldn’t be able to get to them before they succumbed to the heat.
The effort Herculean, they brought their hands together and rested their fingers on the two bracelets around their wrist; one made of a violin string, the other of rope and threaded with a pearl. They'd promised Anna to find a way to end this. They'd told Ollie he could trust them.
The steam was too thick for them to speak, so they mouthed a hopeless sorry.
In their last moments of half-conscious delirium, they could've sworn that they caught a hint of fresh, salty air, a cool breeze brushing the shell of their ear.
Nothing else.
***
Before, Ollie had been aware of everything. His lighthouse was a second skin; shoes on the stairs as obvious and insistent as a hand on his arm. He controlled everything down to the foundation, all with the express purpose: protect, protect, protect.
He remembered so little of those thirty years. Ghosts processed information differently from people regardless, and it was all just one big blur of mind-numbing terror layered over aching hunger and ragged determination to keep that light burning until his replacement came. Anyone who tried to tamper with his light was an enemy to be driven out.
But that was before Phoenix had come and taken the mantle from him. At long last, he could finally think again, not just react like an animal.
And he'd made a decision. Phoenix wanted to stop what had happened to him from happening to anyone else. With the lighthouse no longer needing a fierce guardian, he figured his services would be better given elsewhere. Heaven knew he couldn't be put to rest yet.
So, when Phoenix had put on that bracelet, he'd left the lighthouse and followed along.
Not that he could do much to help. A ghost could have either freedom or power. Ollie had chosen to leave his power behind. He doubted whether he could meaningfully affect the living world at all, anymore.
Plus, it was enormously more difficult to even remain aware of the living world without his lighthouse. He drifted in and out of half-concious drowsiness, with only brief flashes of lucidity reminding him of the world he was still tied to.
But then, the second that Phoenix had walked through that boiler room door, he was dragged into complete and perfect awareness.
They were here.
He could feel it. The heart-stopping terror like claws against his ribs, the eyes that filled every dark corner of the house and wanted nothing more than him dead.
He didn't have lungs anymore, but well-trod memory provided the old sensation of hyperventilating, the vague illusion of a heartrate jumping. He could barely think, much less move.
Zor couldn't see him, it seemed. But he could see them, oh, he could see them. Their form had been seared into every one of his nightmares, and it looked just how he remembered it.
Ollie had been reliving that terror over and over and over again for thirty years. It hadn't prepared him to see it again.
He couldn't see himself, but he was shaking, he could feel himself shaking. No stomach, no flesh, and yet he was still shadowed by that ancient ache of hunger, of tracing his own ribs as every shadow hissed and grabbed at his feet. Something was still watching him through the windows, somehow hungerier than he (though to him that felt impossible) but there was no floodlight here, nothing to dispel the monster, the beast, the shadow made of teeth—
"Oliver, wake up!" An unfamiliar voice spoke in his ear, low and urgent. "They're going to die! You have to do something! Wake up!"
Ollie snapped back to reality, his vision refocusing.
Zor was gone. Phoenix was motionless on the floor. The room was hot enough to kill.
Zor wanted them dead. What Zor wanted, Zor got. There was nothing he could do. Nothing more to say.
And yet, he was pulled towards them. They never gave up. He owed it to them to at least try.
He brushed his hand over their head, focusing just enough to move the air. The room was hot.
But he was cold.
Phoenix had mentioned it when they first met. Shivered when he circled them. A blast of freezing air, a chill against their skin; that was how he displaced the living world.
He imagined taking a deep breath, gathering his energy, then swooped down, settling over Phoenix's unconcious body like fog in a valley. He'd never thought to measure it before, but he was a little bigger than them. He could cover them.
It didn't take long for him to start to tire, his mind drifting back towards drowsy unawareness. He had so little to anchor him to this world. A thin piece of rope, not much more.
Concentrate. Concentrate. Keep it together.
He pressed closer, closer, until he could feel Phoenix's sluggish heartbeat.
"Keep the light burning," he whispered, though he knew no one could hear. "Stay with me."
There had only been one thing on his mind when he'd rattled his last breath, one song intertwining with the horror that had torn him from a peaceful grave.
Protect. Protect. Protect.
In a way, he guessed he still had a lighthouse.
The door burst open, but Ollie's concentration didn't waver. A woman stepped through. He recognized her: Doctor Prism.
"Phoenix?!" She called desperately, peering through the steam.
"This way, quickly!" It was the same voice that had sounded in his ear, rousing him from his terror.
The blurry outline of a woman, a ghost, like him, took Prism's wrist and guided her through the steam straight to Phoenix.
Another ghost. The second bracelet. He wasn't alone.
Ollie sprang out of the way as Prism, with a gasp, scooped Phoenix up and dragged them out the door as fast as she could.
Ollie followed, hovering anxiously as Prism propped Phoenix up against the nearest wall and pulled out a phone. The moment she had stepped away, he dropped back onto them, blowing cold air onto their face and pressing his ghostly hands against their burning skin.
He wasn't sure if he'd done enough. They'd been in there a long time, and his cover couldn't have been perfect. If Zor wanted them dead…
Every moment, he expected the life in their chest to flicker out. For those brown eyes to never open again. It was stupid to think that anyone could outwit Zor. But someone had to try.
"Please, you have to survive this, Phoenix." He pleaded in a whisper, cupping their face in his hands. "Come on, wake up!"
He exhaled shakily, resting his head on their chest. He was so tired.
But he kept going.
Then, their shallow, raspy breathing started to even out, their sluggish heartbeat getting stronger. He was helping. He was doing something.
"C'mon, Phoenix!"
Then, all at once, they stirred. A tiny groan parted their lips, their brow furrowing.
Ollie was forced to once again leap out of the way as Prism rushed in, touching a hand to their shoulder and speaking softly to them.
"Congratulations." His fellow ghost drifted to the floor beside him, blurry and washed out. "Zor will never be able to make you freeze like that again."
"I… I did it." Ollie stared down at Phoenix, who'd opened their eyes and started looking around. "I saved them when Zor wanted them dead!"
He couldn't help a disbelieving laugh, giddy relief blossoming where his chest had once been. "They're not all-powerful after all."
The woman radiated a smile that he felt more than saw. "Now you understand. My name is Anna. Together, we keep Phoenix alive. At long last… Zor's shadow begins to shrink."
