Diesel and his rough, tough boyfriends. Diesel acting all tough until he ends up getting in trouble and being forced to help Arry and Bert at the ironworks and he finds that he’s pretty inferior to the two in terms of ‘bad boy’ attitude lmao.

And Diesel’s stunned to find that they start flirting with him the longer he works with them, and Diesel really likes the attention despite thinking it’s weird at first lmao

Somebody has to be the favourite!~ Happy James day everyone!! ^^ I'm keeping the trend going and drawing yet another charrie I've never drawn before, and had quite a bit of fun with it, too! It ended up being a bit rushed but I'm still pretty happy with it hehe I can't say I've always been a huge fan of James, but I've seen SO much good fan stuff with him that I've definitely come around a bit more. (Trampy's James in particular is a BIG favourite of mine; love that characterization so so much!) And you can't deny he's a pretty splendid engine! ;3 hehe Plus I've honestly just been having so much fun with these monthly character drawings, I couldn't help myself. xD I had to do something for his day too! So enjoy this fabulous James! <3 And happy James day everyone!!

Smudger x Duke:

Does anyone remember thomas1edward2henry3’s ‘the search for smudger’ series? Yeah, similar vibes. What’s left of Smudger had been found and rebuilt, but he has amnesia until a bad accident has him remember everything about his past…and about how Duke used to treat him. But in current day, Duke actually likes this new identity, and they’re close to each other. So Smudger tries not to reveal who he really is, BUT Duke isn’t stupid. Smidger ends up slipping up a few times and Duke ends up realizing who he really is. And Smudger almost breaks down in fear that Duke hates him. But nah, Duke doesn’t, he’s fallen for him too fast to hate him. Cue the feeling reveal!

Oliver x Diesel:

Imagine Oliver and Diesel’s first true meeting. Imagine these two having an opposite relationship to Diesel and Duck. Instead of the two hating each other…Oliver develops the biggest crush on Diesel, and Diesel ends up becoming a big flirt. Duck heavily disapproves, of course, trying to warn Oliver that he’s just being used, that Diesel is sweet talking him to get him to do all the work. Oliver refuses to believe it. Duck doesn’t trust Diesel and continues to try and prove he’s a bad guy…until Oliver snaps and defends Diesel in front of him. And if Diesel WAS just using him to begin with, he isn’t anymore. Oliver defending him and standing up for him makes his heart beat weird and suddenly Diesel is falling for him too!

10 x Diesel

Diesel’s always had a fascination with Ten. The second Ten joined them at the dieselworks he’d taken charge like a natural born leader, and Diesel just fell in place. At first it was because he was Ten’s best engine, someone who followed orders well and caused chaos like he wanted - but while the steamies and diesels feud mellowed out with time, Diesel learned that the odd feeling he got around Ten didn’t. He doesn’t really understand that it’s a crush until Paxton of all engines catches him staring at Ten one day and just kinda…blurts out the obvious. Diesel tries to ignore it because it totally isn’t true, but it seems Ten may have noticed as well because it seems the warship wants to spend way more time with him than usual. Diesel is so, so anxious and awkward and he embarrasses himself in front of Ten so much until Ten finally calls him out on his feelings and he HAS to say something.

Donal x Emily x Douglas

Emily has always ended up being the motherly voice of reason for other engines, but around the twins she can finally let go and be a little less stressed out. She’s too shy to make the first move when she realizes she’s developed a crush, but the twins are one step ahead of her and we can either have one twin be the other’s wingman (ie: Donald has a crush for Emily but is too embarrassed to say anything, so Douglas sets them up - or the other way around) or they both woo the sterling engine together.
