OH MANNN THERE HE IS, THERE'S 2026 REBOOT BILL!! And I have... thoughts LMAOO I would agree with u that it's definitely not the worst design they could've come up with for him (I have zero issues with the coloured eyes and never have lol, but that's prolly cuz I like drawing them with coloured eyes myself! And I honestly don't mind the green on them lol), and I do think he looks kinda cute?? It's definitely quite different but it could've been a lot worse loll, his design reads a lot less "gremlin" to me with his more rounded appearance (which I don't neccessarily love but idm it entirely) and it's definitely still weirdly kinda off-putting compared to the OG design, but it's not the worst thing ever, for sure! I personally don't love that they seem to be basing his model more off the CGI-era one then anything else (I have my own personal gripes with the bees' CGI models but that's a whole other rant for another day lol), but it's definitely not bad. Not great, but not horrible either! (Also I see we're keeping the silver buffers from Buffer Bother, eh? I thought only Ben had those.... LOL) Genuinely, though, it seems like the more I see of the reboot designs the less enthusiastic I become about it overall lmaoo. I get that they wanna do something different, and while I'm open to that idea, what I've seen so far has not made me feel very good about it LOL (I have seen what they did to the likes of James, and ESPECIALLY Duck and.. man, that one especially hurt a lil LMAOO /lh) I definitely do not like the lack of Brendam Bay text either, nor the weird black box and red lamp(like why is that box there??? what purpose does that serve???? also why is his lamp BRIGHT red??????), also don't love the red wheels either but given the whole CGI-era thing I can see why they're like that. But yeah most of all the lack of any mention of Ben (everything has been only showcasing Bill so far, and there's been zero mention of a Ben, at least as far as I'm aware(?)) is.... not very reassuring LOL I guess the optimistic part of me wants to think that they're only showing one twin bc... hey, they're twins, Ben's just gonna look the exact same but with a different name, right? Sure it's still kinda weird not to just show both of 'em but whatever, they're an identical set, we technically now know what they both look like by just seeing one of em. But then I noticed... Bill has no nameplate.
No nameplate, nor a written name, the side of his saddletank is just... blank. Asides from S.C.C ofc, which is a given. But his lack of a name anywhere on him (arguably THE way people distinguish him from his twin, there was a whole episode about that I mean cmon!) is... concerning LOL (Also the lack of writing other then "S.C.C" definitely makes his appearance look more... empty?? in a way?? idk, but it definitely feels that way to me at least) Like you could argue that they just didn't include it for whatever reason or it's still a rough prototype-thingie still, but... like, every piece of Bill and/or Ben merch I've EVER seen has had their names on them. It's very weird for this one to not have that, at least imo I could be wrong about this, ofc, but this, paired with the lack of anything about Ben is... concerning, for sure LOL there's no way they can have a Bill without a Ben, though, right??? I'm right there w/you twin, I NEED to know where Ben is. Bill needs his twin man! 😭We can't have a Bill without a Ben we just can't- Like, did the other engines just get sooo sick of their nonsense that they just yeeted Ben off the island or smth???? like where is he-/j /silly I did once jokingly suggest to a friend that Ben isn't there bc he refused to wear the green "eye contacts" (LOL), but only in jest and I genuinely hope that doesn't end up being accurate!! 😭/lh Like please just give us smth for Ben too, I genuinely don't hate this design for Bill, I could live with it, but if there ends up being no Ben then that'd prolly put me off the show forever right then and there. :( (It'd end up the last straw for me at least lol, and though I might still give it a chance anyway it'd definitely leave a sour taste in my mouth) All-in-all, to sum up my thoughts; Don't love it, don't hate it, but WHERE THE HECK IS BEN AT?? Look, man, I’m the first person to want to incorporate uncanny valley elements into the way the engines look. But there’s just something about the 2026 designs that’s off-putting and NORMALLY I’m all about that.

I'm mesmerized by their smallness...
He's nervous to admit it, but after being stuck in a museum for so long, Forrest finds that he is a little touch-starved (which I'd imagine is unusual for an engine).
Forrest really enjoys cab patting and face massages, maybe more so than other engines. Being in an environment where he received zero touch from humans was devastating for him, and affected his mental health greatly.
After coming to Sodor, he found himself being too nervous to ask humans for massages or pattings; he had come to expect humans to have little care for his needs (besides coal and water and such). It's takes time, but his driver, Marie is eventually able to get Forrest to open up about his wants and needs. She finds that he particularly likes washdowns, especially when his face gets washed! Sometimes he even falls asleep when being scrubbed...
I am legally required to draw these guys on 7/7.

Hiya! Thanks for the ask. ^^ Unfortunately I don't really know if they'd be friends! Depends on what Eliza's personality is and how she'd feel about Frank, being the big, anxious old man he is. x'D /lh But he is a sweetheart, too, he's a BIG softie <3 Just very anxious and unsure, especially around those he isn't familiar with due to his own personal issues. He definitely doesn't go out of his way to make enemies or anything tho LOL he's still very much a kind old man at his core. uwu (If not forgetful, anxious and unsure of himself 99.9% of the time LOL) Don't know if they could be friends, but idk, maybe they could be! Depends on if Eliza would vibe w/that sort of engine, ig! xD But that's all I can really say on it lol Cute OCs though! ^^ I love me a good sibling duo always hehe

Bash and Dash are kinda new ones here and I'm only recently trying to draw them out. They both have a hivemind state which they can enter and leave under their own will, though theoretically this can also be forced (but unwanted) by messing with their programming.
Bill and Ben are just. well. Bill and Ben. What more could you ask for. The only thing they likely wouldn't have a rampage at is a fossil collection or museum. Thanks, Marion, you tamed these beasts in some respect.
Been writing a lot for Donald and Douglas as well (unsurprisingly). Douglas also likes to go to Donald for emotional support, especially given he was at risk for being scrapped. Douglas is also usually calm and level-headed while Donald can be impulsive and quick to react or come to conclusions. Very defensive for the people and things he loves too.
Douglas originally took drawing as a way to feel better about his situation with scrap, and is now pretty good with environmental art and still life sketching in particular. I like to think he also does commissions but also draws a lot with Donald because again he can't draw /lh

How did the two meet? Since Maisie can't exactly move on her own accord, does she just chill in a shed most of the time? If Frank was abandoned, who found him (if there was anyone??) What was he going to be built for? I apologize for the numerous questions hahahaha you can take your pick on which one you wanna answer
AHHH omg ur too kind, thank you <33 I'm so glad you like them!! I've loved working on these two sm and it always makes me so happy to see other ppl enjoying my OCs too!! And ofc I am more then happy to yap some more about them! >:) And I'll do my best to answer as many questions as I can! Firstly I'll start with the most simple question to answer; yes! Maisie chills in a shed most of the time. She's kept on a little flatbed though, so she can still get moved around if neccessary. Frank definitely tries to move her out of the shed more often then is neccessary (he doesn't like leaving her alone), and while Maisie doesn't mind being in her shed (at least it's dry! LOL), she def enjoys getting to come out every now and then too! <3 As for your other questions, well, I'll preface by first saying that their backstories haven't been fully fleshed out yet, so some things may get changed later down the line, but I'm happy to offer what ideas I do have currently! The basic gist for how the two first met is that they just so happened to end up in the same shed! But they each definitely had a different road to get there.
Maisie, after barely being saved from scrap, and seeing as she's unable to go anywhere or do much of anything, needed a temporary place to stay until they worked out a permanent home for her. (With the intention of maybe someday restoring her) Thankfully, the people who rescued her were in touch with a small heritage line (which only had one other functioning engine, I might revisit this idea later hehe) that had a small maintence shed they had no current use for. And so Maisie was taken there for the time being. And it just so happened that one of the local volunteers, Thomas, a man well-known in the area for his volunteer efforts on said heritage line, had just made a discovery of his own. Y'see, Thomas' father was quite the railway enthusiast himself, and had instilled that love for trains (especially old steam locos) into his son. And after losing his father at a young age, Thomas had thrown himself into trains even more. And much to his surprise, he would later come to find his dad's old notebook, which detailed an engine that he'd never heard of before. A bit of an odd old engine, one his father described as "frightening" at first, but who was also the gentlest engine he'd ever met. The engine didn't have a name, so his father, as a young lad, had given it one: "Frankenstein's Monster" And though his father's life was tragically cut short, he'd left behind a small, crudely hand-drawn map of the workshed his old friend had been in. To be a memory of his youth, if nothing else. But Thomas, determined as ever to not only help another engine, but find that long lost piece of his father, went searching for him. It took him a good few months (the shed had long since been overgrown), but at last, he finally found it, and the engine within. And with the help of fellow volunteers, Frank was finally recovered as well and brought to the same small heritage line as Maisie. As their other engine was struggling, and Frank was in bad but not an inoperable state, they figured they could probably get him going again! But for the time being, he was put in the shed with Maisie. And they ended up meeting for the very first time! ^^
"Well, lookit us two, eh? A couple a' weary lookin' engines, we arre." It was definitely a bit of an adjustment, as neither were really used to having company, but they warmed to each other relatively quickly and were soon chatting and acting like old friends hehe <3 To wrap up, I'll also address Frank's build purpose. Though he doesn't remember much of his past anymore (he's subconsciously repressed a lot of it), Frank is, in fact, an altered version of a once different engine. He wasn't built from the ground up to look how he does or anything, he was just modified to the point of practically being unrecognizable. His original build purpose though, before everything else, was actually to be a passenger engine. He actually used to pull express trains, if you can believe that! xD But if you're referring to why he was built the way he is now, the truth is... well it wasn't entirely intentional. The people who took him (i.e likely stole him from his original railway) clearly had much bigger plans for him, but they fell to the wayside and he was abandoned in a bit of a mangled state. (Hence his odd shape and lack of tender when he was initially rediscovered! He was several different colours too, as he was never properly painted, and only got his red and gold livery once he was recovered and fixed up.) It's believed they were either trying to "American"-ize him (hence the cowcatcher and headlamp, and him now being oil-fired, as a fun side fact!) or they just wanted to cover up that they'd stolen him by making him as different as possible. Or hell, maybe he was just a personal project for them to do with whatever the hell they wanted! Who knows. Either way, whatever their actual goal was, it never fully came to fruition. And Frank ended up eventually abandoned the way he was. Thankfully everything turned out alright for both of them in the end, and hey, now they have each other! ^^ YIPPEE
But yeah, that's about all I have for them atm! I apologize if this took a bit to get around to, I was trying to do a little bit of research and make up a whole timeline in my head that made sense. x'D Idk if it's fully where I want it to be yet, but the core ideas are there! At least I hope all of that makes sense anyway! ^^' I definitely would like to explore more with them at a later date, but for now, I hope y'all can enjoy what I do have cooking for em hehe!
