Leyendecker's Honeymoon: Hansry edition.
Thank you Gale for throwing the grapes into the wine soup so we won't get a hungover.
The rest of the camp is thrilled.
I kept seeing this cold wall/sleep arrangement meme and wanted to give it my own spin, I hope this has been informative.
Have you reconsidered embracing ceremorphosis?
When the heroes are not in the camp
sleeping arrangements (not sure tara would ever actually deign to sleep in the same 20ft radius as shovel but who can resist those big shiny insectoid black eyes đĽş)

ah yes my favorite rogue ast... vax'ildan? (aka gale has hair envy + hairswap... kinda)
this is purely self indulgent + wanted to try some unconventional (radioactive) color palettes for them
remember when some guy âtranslatedâ the âlyricsâ from the elden ring boss themes and people made lore posts and videos analyzing their implications when the âlyricsâ were actually just meaningless syllables and the guy was just making shit up
it kinda happened with bloodborne too, there are a few videos of the âLatin lyricsâ out there and itâs like guys. They just made the choir sing vaguely Latin gibberish with a few real words (your sanguine sanctums, etc) in there for vibes
also shouldnât it be like sanguinus sanctus or something if itâs conjugated correctly? i dunno i took latin years ago. anyway. itâs just for vibes thatâs the point
the harpy song has got actual really cool lore Latin lyrics though if thatâs your vibe
actually, the Bloodborne ost really does have some real Latin lyrics (unlike the other souls games)! the youtube channel Antonius Tertius has transcribed and confirmed the actual Latin lyrics for Laurence and Ludwigâs themes with the producers (and personally I can hear these lyrics in the music pretty clearly). as for the accuracy of the Latin, like with the phrase âsanguine sanctum,â @nuadha-airgeadlamh can explain the Latin grammar better than I can lol
you are correct that there is a lot of misinformation going around about the Bloodborne lyrics though, one thing that annoyed me was that someone made a lyric video for Laurenceâs theme that has a bunch of incorrect Latin lyrics and it has WAY more views than the one with the correct lyrics that I linked earlier!
and re: the harpy song, I actually literally just did an analysis of it a few days ago in this post haha, itâs the one song from elden ring that has real Latin lyrics
I can say a few things about this! as Antonius Tertius explains in his video about Bloodborneâs music production, the Latin lyrics for Bloodborneâs songs arenât composed originally in Latin. The lyrics are translated into Latin from English by the music producers at Sony, with input in the form of lore phrases in Japanese from Miyazaki and the other writers. The primary emphasis when the producers were writing the lyrics wasnât on making coherent Latin sentences, but on creating aesthetically appropriate vocals for the boss fights themselves. This means that they, on many occasions, break grammar rules in order to choose the syllables that sound best in the song itself.Â
Antonius Tertius does a great breakdown of the proper grammar vs the broken grammar of the lyrics in the videos @slavonicrhapsody has linked above. To use the specific example you mention, âsanguine sanctumâ appears many times throughout âLaurence, the First Vicar.â The declension endings in this phrase don't match; it should be appearing in its nominative âsanguis sanctusâ or its accusative âsanguinem sanctumâ respectively depending on the specific grammatical functions it's serving in the song's lyrics.
So, to summarize, Bloodborne is unique in that it does contain several songs with Latin lyrics, but the grammar is stretched in order for a better sound musically. The volume of misinformation spread about the music from the Soulsborne games, and especially Bloodborne, is honestly insane. if you want to learn more, i would highly recommend checking out Antonius Tertiusâs videos; he was the one who exposed those fake Latin lyrics from Elden Ring someone was peddling a while ago. The lyrics he provides for âLudwig, the Holy Bladeâ and âLaurence, the First Vicarâ are confirmed and provided by the music producers themselves.Â
Picks him up like a stray cat
reversed!
I can tell whoâs really played Baldurâs Gate 3 and who hasnât by who mfs think is the horniest one or not. If a mf says âastarionâ then I know they ainât far because Astarion is flirtatious and catty, heâs not horny. Halsin is the horny one. Halsin is the biggest Hornball in the party. Mf those scars on his face are not from battle
His voice when he says "come here to me" during that scene- ughhh makes my knees fucking weak
Filthy thoughts and feelings
