A/N : another entry for @ombrotherlylove2023 !! I am so in love with this event esp since i get to write my fav brother pair!! beel and levi!! they're honestly an underrated duo imo! I apologize if this fic is a bit eee since im not used to write angst or hurt/comfort :')
Leviathan had just finished a night-long anime marathon and was looking forward to a midnight snack in the kitchen. As he made his way to the kitchen to grab some drinks and maybe a late-night snack, his plans suddenly took an unexpected turn. The sound of sobbing and sniffles echoed through the kitchen, pulling at his heartstrings. Concern washed over him as he followed the sound, his footsteps growing quieter with each step. He would find Beelzebub sitting on the floor in front of the refrigerator, tears streaming down his face as he mindlessly munched on some food.
Leviathan's heart sank at the sight of his usually cheerful and easygoing brother in such distress. Instinctively, his big brother mode kicked in, and he hurriedly made his way over to Beelzebub's side. "Beel, what's wrong?" he asked gently, kneeling down beside him.
Beelzebub looked up at Leviathan, his eyes red and puffy from crying. "Lilith... I had a dream... about her," he managed to say between choked sobs. "I... I couldn't save her, Levi. I feel so-..." Leviathan's heart ached as he realized the source of Beelzebub's pain. Lilith, their sister who had been lost to them, held a special place in all their hearts. Leviathan understood the weight of guilt that Beelzebub carried, blaming himself for not being able to protect her.
Without hesitation, Leviathan enveloped Beelzebub in a comforting hug, letting him cry it out. Beelzebub clung to Leviathan, finding solace in his brother's presence. Without a moment's hesitation, Leviathan took Beelzebub's hand and gently led him out of the kitchen. He knew that sometimes, words weren't enough, and actions could speak louder. He guided Beelzebub to his own room, pausing his anime marathon and replacing it with a lighthearted and comedic show instead. He understands that Beelzebub needed his undivided attention in this moment.
He grabbed some blankets and pillows, creating a comfortable nest for them both to snuggle into. It wasn't easy for Leviathan to find the right words to say, but his actions spoke volumes. As they watched the show together, Leviathan offered a listening ear whenever Beelzebub needed to talk or simply wanted to vent his emotions. He held Beelzebub's hand, offering a steady presence and reassurance that he wasn't alone. Slowly but surely, Beelzebub's tears subsided, replaced by a sense of calm.
Exhaustion eventually overcame Beelzebub, his body succumbing to the emotional strain of the nightmare. His breathing evened out, and Leviathan watched over him, a gentle smile on his face. He couldn't erase Beelzebub's pain completely, but he had provided comfort and support in a way that only a sibling could.
"Rest well, Beel," he whispered. "I'm here for you, always."
And as Beelzebub drifted off to sleep, the room filled with a sense of peace and the knowledge that no matter the darkness that haunted their past, their bond as demon brothers would always be there to light the way forward.

Day 7: Free day and Sick
Trans Belphie is canon to me.
Belphie wasn’t the nicest of his brothers. He didn’t really do much or voice his opinions much anyways but he was snippy, and when he had an opinion he did not concede. It didn’t help that he was the youngest either, he almost always got what he wanted but in the process, he never really learned how to regulate his emotions or how to cope with his thoughts.
When he finally decided to transition, he wanted to be steadfast, he had wished for it to just be like a switch, Bam! You’re a boy now! You’ve always been a boy! (which he had been, but this was the first time the world would see him like that) Everyone will see you as a boy!
But it wasn’t.
Sometimes it was other people’s mistakes, when they called him by the wrong pronouns. They were adjusting, sure, and it was really once in a blue moon that they did but it still took him back. Sometimes it was his cursed body reminding him of things he’d rather forget. But sometimes it was nothing at all. Sometimes he looked exactly the way he wanted and felt like that was truly him and it still wasn’t enough.
It was on those days that he simply knocked on his eldest brother’s door and just sat with him.
The eldest was certainly not his favorite brother, but he was the most sensible of his brothers. Lucifer had practically raised him. Sometimes they’d talk and sometimes they’d play games, for some stupid reason Lucifer always knew what to do for him.
But there were times when Lucifer knew what Belphie needed but didn’t know if he should be the one to do it. Would Belphie want to be hugged by him? Would it even mean anything?
Belphie left soon after, before he could make a decision but it weighed on Lucifer’s mind.
Maybe his brothers (who all came in to ask for favors turn in their council work) sensed his conflict because they probed him for his troubles.
“Penny for your thoughts?” Mammon asked.
“I think Belphie needs a hug but I don’t think I should be the one to give it to him.'' Lucifer replied.
Mammon was way more clever than he’d ever let on, he whispered an idea to Lucifer.
And so there they all were, trying to crowd in the hallway outside Belphie’s door waiting for him to come out.
And finally finally when he comes out that’s when they pounce. All of his brother trying to hug him (although their mostly just hugging the brother closest to them).
They may not get along most of the time, but at the end of the day, there’s no sacrifice big enough for them not to take. And maybe that’s what it means to truly be family.
Hello! That concludes my ombrotherlylove 2023 fics, I have some WIPs and someone requested something from me (day=made), I’ll probably be a bit inactive with actually writing works because I don’t have any backlog of works anymore and I actually have to out paper to pen (wtf writing). See you soon (hopefully)!!
But as the only brother at the house that day, Belphie spent the whole day awake taking care and watching levi while doing some snarky remarks to try and relief the mood.
When Levi's fever went down Belphie dropped dead (aka went to sleep)
Fandom: Obey Me!
Character: Mammon, Beelzebub
Challenge: @ombrotherlylove2023 day 6, Beel & midnight snacks. Late as usual.
Word count: 785
Summary: Beel was clearing out the fridge at night when he heard a sound… and found Mammon trying to hide from Lucifer. But Mammon seems to be really down, so he's a bit worried.
.
Beel was rummaging through the fridge again at night, hoping that it wouldn’t wake Lucifer and get him in trouble. At least now. In the morning everyone definitely discovers that all food disappeared mysteriously, but that was not a problem for now.
A sound startled him and he froze for a moment, but only for a second before resuming chewing on not exactly fresh bread, the last remaining piece of anything potentially edible. Good that the camouflaging spell started wearing out, otherwise he wouldn’t have found it.
He froze again.
This time he was certain that his ears weren’t playing tricks on him and he definitely heard a muffled sniff.
It was coming from one of the cabinets on the other side.
He put the last slice of the half dried bread in his mouth and headed towards the general area of the sound. If he remembered correctly, that was the cabinet he emptied from any stored food two days ago, so potentially it could fit a person. Maybe not as tall as him, but one of the shorter brothers might have indeed gotten stuck there. A burglar would be unlikely considering how well warded the house was.
He opened the cabinet and found one of his brothers indeed as expected. Mammon, curled squished into the small space of the bottom shelf, immediately turned to the wall but Beel could still see that he was biting on his lip.
“So it was you,” Beel concluded.
“...”
Mammon gave him a side glance.
“Don’t tell Lucifer…” both started, but neither finished the sentence. And probably not telling Lucifer wouldn’t prevent him from finding out anyway, whether it was about the fridge or overdrawn credit card.
“Why are you hiding there?” Beel finally asked.
“...just felt like doing that,” Mammon grumbled in reply. “I definitely didn’t hide because I thought at first it was Lucifer.”
“...”
“I DIDN’T.”
“Lucifer will wake up if you keep screaming.”
That shut Mammon up.
“Let’s get you out first.”
With some effort Beel managed to get Mammon unstuck and free him from the cabinet prison he put himself in.
He didn’t seem like his usual plucky self though, uncharacteristically subdued, he was avoiding Beel’s stare and trying very hard to keep a blank face, which - as usual in his case - wasn’t working particularly well.
“Why are you up at this hour?”
“Just because!”
Mammon looked away even more obviously.
“If you don’t want to talk, you don’t have to,” Beel assured him. “I’m finished here so I’ll go back to my room.”
But Mammon grabbed his sleeve.
“I found one of those dolls that Levi missed,” he said quietly, still avoiding looking Beel in the eyes. “I was planning to get him one for his birthday… but I had a bit too little so went to invest and win some more in the casino…”
“And then you lost it all?”
Mammon nodded, ashamed. He let out another muffled sniff, trying to hold back but not exactly succeeding.
“...I was trying to win it back for the whole night.”
“Can’t you find another modelling gig?”
“I took all that was available already. I lost it all.”
Beel thought for a moment. He was never one to come up with solutions - it was always someone else with ideas how to resolve a problem. Beel usually simply followed others’ plans and didn’t think much about it. He was used to it - it was always like that, here in the Devildom or in the Celestial Realm before they fell.
But maybe he had something Mammon could latch onto.
“I think you should ask Asmo. He was complaining all day that he wanted to back out of some Deviltube deal.” Beel patted Mammon’s shoulder. “Some paid partnership or something like that. They asked him to find someone in his place, on last minute. MC has a popular channel too and will probably agree to take up the deal if you ask them.”
“We’d have to split the gain though… might not be enough.”
“But you will be able to buy a present. Without money you can’t buy any.”
Mammon let out a hum in agreement. Beel helped him to stand up and albeit Mammon didn’t seem to really feel much better, he did look a bit less worn out as if it gave him at least a splinter of hope to patch up the situation.
It was on him anyway. Beel shared the information that could help, but what to do now - that was on Mammon.
“I’ll go back to bed.” Beel informed him and turned to leave the kitchen,
“Thanks, Beel,” Mammon finally looked at him before heading towards the door too. “I’ll go ask MC.”
The final prompt for @ombrotherlylove2023 is finished! Omg. Thank you so much for putting on this event, it's been so fun and i've loved reading and seeing everyone's creations! And thank you to everyone who has been reading and commenting on all of my fics! I'm going to make a masterlist of them all here very soon so they are all in one place. I really hope that you enjoy the final one!
A/N: I decided to do the prompt with Belphie (of course), Beel, and Lucifer because something about the oldest taking care of the youngest just warms my heart you know? Plus I love the throwbacks to the Celestial Realm days when they were Angels. Lucifer is such a dad hehe. Also towards the end, it kind of switches POVs a little, I hope that's okay.
Summary: Lucifer is beginning to grow agitated when Belphie doesn't show up to breakfast one morning. When he hunts him down to scold him for sleeping in late, he realizes that the sleepy demon isn't his usual self at all.
Day 7: Sick Fic (& Lullabies) with Belphie, Beel, and Lucifer.
Lucifer has called Belphegor’s name several times now, and his little brother still hasn’t made his way downstairs for breakfast. It wasn’t unusual for Belphie to be the last one at the table in the morning, but it didn’t usually take long before his rumbling stomach (or Beel’s) pulled him out of his deep slumber. The rest of the brothers have already finished eating and Lucifer had ushered them out of the house to get to RAD early to make up for the fact that himself and Belphie were clearly going to be late today. “I swear, Belphegor and his sleeping habits.” Lucifer muttered to himself, climbing up the stairs to make his way to the Twin’s room at the end of the hallway. He didn’t even bother knocking, as he was well past annoyed at this point. “Belphie, please get up this instant, we’re going to be-” he began to scold, but noticed that Belphie was not in his bed amongst the piles of plush pillows and lavish blankets he is always spending his money on. Lucifer sighed, figuring that he must be up in the attic. He really didn’t have time for this.
As he made his way up the winding staircase, Lucifer was growing significantly more frustrated. Belphie knew he was to set several alarms in the morning for this exact reason. The raven haired demon pushed his way through the attic door, and entered the room to finally find Belphie passed out on the bed. Lucifer growled, making his way over to the bed to shake him awake. “Belphegor, get up. This is ridiculous.” He said, shaking Belphie’s shoulder. However, he noticed he was reverted to his demon form as he laid curled into himself, his long, cow-like tail wrapped protectively around his body. Lucifer gently rolled him over to get a look at his face when he noticed how much paler than usual he looked. His forehead was also covered in a sheen of sweat, his long, navy bangs plastered to his face. The Avatar of Sloth was shivering, even though he was wearing pajama pants and a long sleeved sleep shirt where dark patches formed from him sweating through his clothes. “Oh, Belphie.” Lucifer sighed, slipping off his glove and placing the back of his hand against his forehead. He definitely had a fever. As he contemplated what to do next, Belphie began to stir. He whined as he stretched, and his black and white eyelashes fluttered against his freckled cheeks. Lucifer sat on the edge of the bed as Belphie’s violet eyes finally met his. “Lucifer…” he rasped. “I’m sick.” Lucifer chuckled. “I can see that now. I’ve been yelling for you.” Belphie groaned, moving his arm to rest over his eyes, blocking out the low light of the attic. “Everything hurts. There’s no way I'm going to RAD today.” Lucifer nodded, reaching to pull his D.D.D. out of his pocket. “No, you are to stay here and rest. I’ll be informing Diavolo that neither of us will be there today.” Belphie moved his arm, blinking at Lucifer. “You aren’t going either?” Lucifer shook his head. “No, I’ll do some work from home while you rest. I want to make sure that someone is here with you in case you need anything.” Belphie gave him a small smile. He’s not sure if it's because he’s half delusional from the fever, or if Lucifer was actually being nice to him right now.
Lucifer began to text Diavolo, taking his eyes off of Belphie for a second before hearing him groan, attempting to get out of bed. “Belphegor, just stay in bed for now okay? I’ll get you whatever you need.” Belphie stubbornly shook his head. “I want to go to my room, I’ll be fine.” Lucifer rolled his eyes, unsurprised by his little brother’s stubbornness. “I’ll carry you, come here.” Belphie was about to protest as he was scooped up into Lucifer’s arms. “H-Hey…!” he attempted to shout, but his throat was too sore and he decided to give up. He felt like a little kid again, being carried to bed after falling asleep somewhere after being too tired to go to bed himself. Lucifer began carrying him down the staircase, feeling the dampness from Belphie’s clothes. As they approached the twin’s room, he saw a familiar demon standing outside, about to enter. “Beel, what are you doing home?” Lucifer asked as Beel’s violet eyes widened at the sight of his twin in his arms. “I came home because I felt something was wrong with Belphie. Is he okay?” Lucifer nodded, stepping through the door and carrying Belphie over to his bed. He had started to fall back asleep on the way downstairs, most likely caused by the gentle swaying motions from being carried. Lucifer gently placed Belphie back down into his spot in bed, and stepped away to allow Beel to sit down next to his brother. “I thought something felt off this morning, but I didn’t think too much about it. I’m sorry Belphie…” Beel said, reaching out to move the bangs out of his eyes. Belphie whimpered at the touch, most likely sensing the presence of his twin. “I’ll leave you to him for now, I’m going to grab some medicine and a few other things.” Beel nodded, grateful that Lucifer had been here to care for him. “I’d like for you to get him a new change of clothes and get him settled. I’ll also grab a cold compress for his fever.” Beelzebub began to jump into action as Lucifer left the room.
***
Beel wasn’t sure why, but he just had a gut feeling that something was wrong with Belphie that morning. But his twin was notorious for oversleeping, and he didn’t really give it much thought. That is, until he got to school and began to get a dizzying feeling in his head and his legs wobbled as they began to grow weak. Satan and Asmo noticed the change in his behavior immediately, and rushed to his side to steady him. “Beel! What’s the matter?” Asmo asked, his voice filled with concern. The only thing he could manage to get out before rushing home was, “Belphie.” And that’s how he ended up back at home by Belphie’s side, helping to bring down the intense fever that burned through his body. Belphie sighed as Beel placed the cool compress that Lucifer had brought by on his forehead. “Is that better?” he asked as he noticed Belphie begin to relax. “Yeah. Thanks Beel. I’m glad you’re here.” Now that Belphie was in a dry pair of pajamas and had some medicine in his system, he was beginning to perk up. Devildom medicine usually worked wonders, instantly clearing up most of the symptoms that were plaguing the body. “I’m glad I'm here too. I’m sorry I didn’t realize right away.” Belphie shook his head, hugging his cow pillow to his chest. “It’s okay, I didn’t realize how sick I was until Lucifer woke me up.” Beel nodded as he crawled into Belphie’s bed next to him. “I’m really glad that Lucifer was here for you.” Belphie let out a snicker, glancing over at his brother. “I hate to admit it, but…. Me too.”
***
After sometime, Lucifer entered the room again to check on Belphie when he noticed that Beel had joined him in bed, and they were both sound asleep. He sighed, walking over to place another bottle of water and a packet of medicine on the nightstand before taking a seat on the edge of the bed. Beel, you’re going to get sick too, he thought. But he knew that Beel didn’t care, just as long as he was by Belphie’s side to take care of him. He sat in silence for a moment as he watched them sleep, thinking back to the old days in the Celestial Realm. When they were little, they always managed to get sick at the same time. Always together, he smiled. He remembered having to have Mammon help him carry them to their rooms, one twin in each of their arms, just as he did a little bit ago with Belphie. He remembered that Lilith was always doting on them when they were sick, cooking them warm meals that were gentle on the stomach, and constantly checking in on them to bring them anything that they needed. When they couldn’t sleep, she’d sing them a lullaby, her voice light and angelic. Even the memory was enough to send his spirits into the clouds, allowing any worries or troubles to be lifted from his shoulders. Lucifer closed his eyes, channeling the song that he always used to hear Lilith sing, and he began to hum. His voice was low, but smooth. Lilith always told him how much she adored his singing voice. As he hummed, he began to feel peace wash over him, blanketing the room with Lilith’s song. When he was finished, he opened his eyes to see Beel and Belphie still asleep, peaceful expressions on their faces. The song must have helped, since Belphie was no longer tossing and turning. Lucifer gave them one last smile before standing up and heading towards the door. “I shall return soon to check in on you both. Sweet dreams.”
a/n: this was so fun to write ngl. and this is the last part for @ombrotherlylove2023!!
Belphie yawns as he steps into the cool morning air, taking in the fog lining the street. He can’t remember the last time he was up this early.
“You actually made it outside,” Beel says appraisingly, looking him over. Belphie was dressed in a mishmash of workout clothes–Asmo’s sweats, one of Mammon’s t-shirts, and a hoodie of Beel’s somewhat swallowing him. “I’m glad the clothes fit.”
“Yesh,” Belphie says through another yawn. Beel is way too chipper for it to be this early. “Why am I doing this, again?”
“Oh, come on, have a better attitude than that. I promise you’ll like running. It’ll probably help you sleep better, anyway.”
Belphie frowns. “I sleep just fine.”
“Whatever, we’re doing this,” Beel says adamantly, motioning for Belphie to join him on the–ugh, gross–wet lawn. Couldn’t they have at least done this on a nice morning?
“It’s so beautiful out,” Beel hums, inhaling deeply, and he has got to be making fun of Belphie right now. What is wrong with runners?
Beel leads him through some warm-up stretches, and though he feels a little silly doing the dynamic ones, he sees it through anyway. Beel is taking the time to do this with him, and as much as he doesn’t want to, he’s not going to scorn his brother’s hard work.
“Wow, you’re super flexible,” Beel compliments at one point. “Must be because of all of the weird positions you twist yourself into when you sleep.”
“Ha ha,” Belphie says, breath clouding up in front of his face.
Once they’re all warmed up or whatever, Beel explains the proper running posture, something Belphie didn’t even know existed. Couldn’t you just like… run?
“Alright, let’s go,” Beel says, and Belphie reluctantly prepares himself. It’s only a mile, right? He can do a mile.
He cannot do a mile.
“Beel,” he gasps. “Beel, I can’t breathe. You can, ah, go on ahead. Just let me catch my breath. Fuck.”
“You’re alright,” Beel says, slowing to a stop. He’s not even the slightest bit winded. “Deep breathes in and out. Try not to pant. And,” he continues, “as much as I love you, this is just sad. We’re like, a block from the house. I can still see it.”
“Shut up,” Belphie manages between breaths. “I told you, running’s not for me.”
“Aw, come on,” Beel puts a hand on his shoulder, “it just takes some work. Everyone starts somewhere. And consistency is the most important thing. More important than ability, or skill, or even improvement.”
“I don’t want to be consistent,” Belphie whines says like a mature adult. “I want to go home.”
“Too bad,” Beel says. “Now come on. We can go slower, though. We’ve only got–” he checks his watch, “–point eight miles to go.”
Belphie mutters some choice words under his breath but follows, hoping to god he doesn’t pull something.
*
“I can’t move,” Belphie groans, everything aching. He’d made it through the hellish run but apparently, that wasn’t the end of the torture for him.
“Yeah, your muscles probably aren’t used to doing that much work,” Beel says, and only the small smile he can’t quite hide tips Belphie off that he’s being made fun of.
“Asshole.”
“I’ll grab you an ice pack.” Beel stands, and Belphie glowers up at him.
“Better make that two, dipshit. I’m never running again.”
“That’s what you think,” Beel mutters ominously as he disappears towards the kitchen, and Belphie shouts after him.
“Hey! Hey, Beel, what do you mean by that? I’m not running again, ever! Hey, Beelzebub, answer me!” He lets out a growl of frustration. “Goddamn it.”

Day 6 of @ombrotherlylove2023, and I'm really excited to share this one! Beel is seriously one of my favorite boys and sometimes he just needs a shoulder to lean on. I think he feels a lot of pressure to be strong for his family and I think he can relate to Mammon a lot this way so I decided to pair them for this fic. But I hope you guys enjoy! As usual feedback & Reblogs are appreciated! Now I have to get writing the last prompt lmao
A/N: This is set in Nightbringer Era, but present time brothers! So this is present time Beel & Mammon experiencing the disappearance of MC.
Summary: Beel can't sleep and has been tossing and turning all night. The rumbling of his stomach finally pulls him out of bed to head downstairs for a midnight snack. But his hunger has been insatiable lately, and he finally realizes why.
Beel has been tossing and turning all night. He’s not sure how his twin brother is sleeping through it all as he’s tucked snuggly into the spot next to him. Belphie has been sleeping beside him in his bed a lot ever since MC went missing. They have both been having a rough time coping with losing yet another loved one, and they have been practically glued to the hip recently more than usual. He stared at the ceiling, attempting to count the hanging star and moon garlands that Belphie had wanted him to put up in their room some time ago. When that didn’t work, he tried to focus on the sound of Belphie’s breathing, smiling when he let out a little snort here and there. Eventually, a loud grumble from Beel’s stomach echoed through the room and he couldn’t take it anymore. He tossed the covers off his legs and grabbed his D.D.D. off his nightstand. It was exactly midnight, and he decided it was time to head down to the kitchen for a midnight snack.
Beel quietly left the bedroom, and headed downstairs. Thankfully, it appeared that no one else was awake at the moment, although he was pretty sure Mammon had yet to return from one of his late night parties. He noticed that his older brother also had his ways of coping with MC’s disappearance. Beel hummed softly to himself as he rummaged through the fridge, finding the snacks he had kept tucked away for nights like these. He pulled out the Bufo Egg Donut he had been saving and quickly devoured it. He practically moaned at the taste, but still felt unsatisfied. He got a bag of Spicy Newt Chips out of the cupboard and began to snack on them as he scrolled through his D.D.D. He opened up Devilgram to see several pictures that Asmo and Mammon had uploaded, as well as a couple from Levi of a new anime figurine he had just acquired. Beel never really uploaded anything to his page, usually only food or the occasional picture of him and…MC. He knew he’d regret it, but tapped on his profile to see his most recent picture. He and MC had recently gone to a food festival in the human world together, and they had taken a selfie while they each held a giant burger as MC kissed him on the cheek. Beel felt the impending wave of sadness wash over him. He knew why nothing he ate satisfied him anymore. It’s because he was hungry for an entirely different reason. The ‘hunger’ he felt was really just a need to fill the void that MC left when they disappeared.
He must have become lost in the memory of the photo together as he didn’t hear Mammon enter the room. He wasn’t even sure how long he had been standing there staring at his phone, while his other hand gripped the chip bag. “Oi, Beel! Beel, are you with me? Hey!” Mammon half-yelled, as he still wanted to be quiet so he didn’t wake the entire house up. He had just gotten back from his party, and was only planning on grabbing a bottle of water to take to his room when he found Beel frozen in place in the middle of the kitchen. Beel finally blinked, lifting his gaze to see Mammon staring at him with a worried expression. “Why are you crying?” Beel’s eyes widened as he finally noticed Mammon as well as the tears that were rolling down his cheeks. “I…um…” he choked out, his hands beginning to tremble. “Hey, hey it’s alright, don’t worry! Easy now.” Mammon mumbled, gently taking the chip bag and Beel’s phone out of his hand. He set them on the counter, glancing down at the picture from Beel’s phone on Devilgram that Beel had pulled up. The picture was blurry from the tears that had been dripping onto the screen, but Mammon knew all too well it was of his little brother and MC. “Beel, you know you shouldn’t be doing this to yourself.” The red haired demon blinked, his violet eyes filling with tears once more. “I-I realized why it’s worse now. My hunger, I mean.” Mammon leaned against the counter, his gaze fixed on Beel. “Because you miss them, right?” Beel nodded sadly, bringing his hand to his stomach. “I know how you feel. It might not be with food, but my gambling and spending has become way worse.” Mammon paused, stealing a glance down at the shiny gold watch against the tanned skin of his wrist. He had managed to win it at that night’s gambling session at the casino. “All of our sins seemed to intensify the moment MC disappeared.” Beel’s lower lip began to tremble again. Mammon was right after all. Belphie was hardly ever out of bed and Lucifer had even been testing his patience lately with his prideful and short tempered attitude. He just wanted MC back. He wanted them home and wrapped up safe and warm in his arms where they belonged. But he didn’t want to cry anymore, especially in front of his brothers. He may be the 2nd youngest, but he was supposed to be the strongest.
Mammon finally pulled him from his thoughts. He realized more tears were running down his cheeks, and his mouth felt like cotton. “Here, take this.” he said, handing Beel a bottle of water. Beel nodded graciously and began to take slow sips. “That’s it, just take it easy. Do you need me to go get Belphie?” The 6th born shook his head, not wanting to wake his twin for some silly reason such as this. “Okay. Well how about we just sit for a little while. You got another bag of chips?” Beel smiled slightly as he nodded, stepping over to the cupboard once more to get out another bag of Spicy Newt Chips for Mammon. “Thanks. Let's go to the living room, it’ll be way more comfy in there.” The two of them headed into the giant common room and sat down on one of the couches together. They sat in silence for a while with only the sound of crunching potato chips filling the room. “Hey Beel, I was just thinking. It’s like, okay for you to cry, yanno?” Beel blinked at Mammon’s words. “What do you mean?” Mammon shrugged, tossing another potato chip into his mouth. “It’s just that I don’t want ya goin’ and thinkin’ you have to be strong for us all. Just cause you are strong doesn’t mean you have to be all the time.” Beel glanced down at the ground as he fidgeted with his hands. “Thank you, Mammon… I want you to know it’s the same for you. The others give you a hard time but…” he glances up, his violet eyes shimmering with the remnants of tears. “You can always talk to me if you want. I know MC was special to you too.” Mammon blushes as his own eyes begin to water. “I-I uh, dunno what you’re talkin’ about…but uh… thanks Beel.” This time Beel smiles, an actual genuine smile that Mammon knows isn’t just a facade. “Mmhm, MC may be special to us, but we are also special to them. I know they’d want us to take care of each other while they are away.” At his words, Mammon grins and gently bumps Beel’s shoulder. “I can hear them yellin’ at us for moping around like we are.” Beel chuckles, finishing up the last of his chips. The hunger has seemed to dissipate for now. “Yeah, me too. We should probably get to bed because they’d be scolding us for staying up too late.” Mammon gives Beel a pat on the back, wishing him a goodnight before heading off to his own room. Beel makes his way back to his as well, quietly crawling into bed beside his twin. “Mmn, Beel…? You okay?” Belphie mumbles, still half asleep. His eyes are slowly blinking awake, the concern for his brother overpowering the desire to keep sleeping. Beel nods, pulling the covers back up over his legs. “I am now. Let’s go back to sleep, Belphie.”
a/n: bad friend's suck :( .... for @ombrotherlylove2023
Stomach rumbling, Beel slides out of bed, careful not to disturb his twin. A midnight snack sounds perfect, especially since he’s pretty sure he saw some waffles in the freezer that he can combine with some of the leftover fried chicken from dinner. Levi thought he hid his leftovers well, but not well enough to keep them from him.
Drooling at the prospect, Beel walks down the stairs, freezing when he sees someone already in the kitchen. Who else would be up at this hour, and sitting in the dark, no less?
“I’m turning on the lights,” Beel warns, and does, revealing Asmo. Huh. Usually, he’d be asleep by now, something about body rhythm and skin health and all the stuff Beel doesn’t really get.
“That’s bright,” Asmo mutters, shading his eyes from the sudden influx of light, but not before Beel sees how they’re red-rimmed and bloodshot. He moves to the fridge, wondering if he should say something. Asmo never cries.
Silence falls between them as Beel pulls out the waffles and finds Levi’s leftovers, but he can only take so many sniffles before he’s obligated to ask, “Is everything okay?”
“What?” Asmo asks. “Oh, yeah, everything’s fine. Well,” he takes a deep breath, “actually, no they’re not. But it’s stupid. So.”
“You can still tell me,” Beel encourages quietly, putting four waffles in the toaster. His back is to Asmo, a small privacy in their kitchen. “I don’t care if it’s stupid.”
“It’s like, really stupid,” Asmo warns, and Beel shrugs. He’s not going to force Asmo to tell him.
“Okay.”
“Well, basically, a friend of mine is being really weird and I don’t know why. I feel like she’s been excluding me and stuff, but I also wondered if it was in my head, since we’re usually so close. But then another friend of mine asked me about it, confirming it’s actually happening, which is nice because now I know I’m not crazy, but also sucks since that means she is deliberately putting distance between us,” he says in one breath. “And then I had this gut feeling, and I just checked Devilgram, and she unfollowed me! Me!”
Beel’s not all that into social media but even he knows that’s a big deal.
“So anyway, now I’ve been following her one-sidedly for who knows how long, looking like an idiot, and I don’t even know what I did wrong! And she’s being so rude and won’t talk to me, and it sucks because I really liked her. When people you think are cool don’t feel the same it really sucks.”
Beel pulls the chicken out of the microwave, turning towards Asmo. “I’m sorry that’s happening,” he says seriously. “It sounds like she’s being a real jerk.”
Asmo lets out a watery laugh. “She is.”
“She’s not worth your time. Anyone who’d blow off you doesn’t know what they’re doing,” Beel continues, words coming out a little awkwardly but heart-felt, something Asmo seems to realize. “Even if she does try to be your friend again, don’t let her. She sounds slimy and fake.”
“Wow, you’re not holding back,” Asmo observes, and Bele shrugs again.
“Well. She made you cry. Anyone who makes you cry is demon scum.”
“Awww,” Asmo says, dabbing at his eyes delicately with his sleeve, “you care about me!”
“Of course I do,” Beel says quietly, pouring syrup all over his creation. Asmo watches, raptly.
“Enough to share that with me?”
Bele looks down, at his chicken and waffles, then back up at Asmo, who blinks pleadingly. His stomach grumbles again, but his heart lets out a stronger pang. “Fine,” he agrees reluctantly, circling the island and pulling out the stool next to Asmo’s. “Just this once, though.”

Asmodeus was doing some assignments until late so he got kinda hungry and wanted a midnight snack.
He was half expecting to find Beel in the kitchen this late at night
So he was really surprised to see Beel drapped on a window with an untouched bowl of biscuits by his side.
Asmo asks what's up while looking at Beelzebub's puffy eyes
Beel: "...a nightm- no... I guess I had a dream"- he looked so tired
Asmo: "what was the dream about?"
Beel: "...Lilith."
Asmo: "oh.."
Asmo didn't say anything after that. He just ate a bit of the snacks and pushed the bowl to Beel. Looking at the view, they both enjoyed the cold air as Beelzebub's mood relieved, if not slightly.

“How DARE you?” Satan bursts into the kitchen, demon form out, eyes blazing with anger. “How dare you lock me up in the basement! You’ve got some fucking nerve! I will not stand for this! I am NOT some lowlife you can wrap in chains and leave with that stupid mutt of yours!!”
Lucifer sighs, screwing the bottle of water in his hands shut. “You destroyed the statues Lord Diavolo had commissioned. That was your punishment. Now calm yourself.”
“Calm myself? CALM MYSELF!??” He swipes a hand across the kitchen countertop, sending all the drying dishes scattering in splinters across the floor. “You threw me in the basement with your fucking dog!”
Happy Beel day, to celebrate I give you my favorite piece and also my shortest. The ending is my favorite I think it encapsulates Belphie in the way I see him. I believe this is more Belphie centered but like go read my day 2 idk lol.

Day 6: Midnight snacks and crying
It wasn’t often that Belphie had the energy to get up and go places that he didn’t need to. The most he could do was walk to classes and walk to dinner and even that took several power naps throughout the day. And he would prefer to keep that predictability…
Except.
Beel isn’t in their room.
Belphie’s sure that while he’s sleeping, Beel goes to grab snacks and whatnot, that’s not an issue since Belphie is too busy sleeping (like the dead) to be awoken by Beel’s absence or even his presence that comes with loud crunching during the midnight hours. What stirs his mind and makes it race, is when he’s not there. Logic tells him that obviously, his brother is in the kitchen, where he always is, but logic has never seemed to help him. His sister is dead, he fell, he traded wings for a tail, and he’s cursed with sloth, and all those times, the war, and the scars he still has, were strategized by one of the strongest people he knows to date (shut up, don’t tell Lucifer), so did logic help him? Obviously, not, and so he would not listen to that distrustful logic.
Waking up in the dead of night and not finding his brother in his bed was not a common occurrence, Beel seemed to know the most common times for Belphie to wake up, but just like the Avatar himself, his sin was unpredictable.
When this happens, it’s up to Belphie and his sleep-addled mind, often fresh off nightmares, to trust his feet to bring him to the kitchen where Beel is waiting.
And like a line in a script, he is there.
“Hi, Beel” His tongue and mouth manage to work to form coherent words, the feeling of tiredness always stands by him, and in a way that makes it and his brother similar both some of his closest friends, that would never leave no matter what he did.
“Hello Belphie I didn’t know you’d be up, sorry” And then there’s Beel who from Belphie’s world seems so perfect but that’s probably not true, is it? He’s a people pleaser through and through. For a passing moment, Belphie wants to give this idea more thought but on second thought what could he even do to help his brother?
So instead of trying to start a conversation that needs to be had and break the serenity of the kitchen and stir up his relationship with his brother, it’s simply better to look at whatever Beel has cooked up and snack.
He doesn’t get enough to eat anyways
I seriously need to write a whole developmental piece for Belphie because he brings so many concepts even though I am kinda mean to him in my fics lol. Belphie is a character who dosen’t like change, routine is important and he finds comfort in it, he will do anything to keep stability, hide truths, murder, anything. That’s rlly fun to play with lol.
Are you ready for tomorrow? Last day, I made it queer!
