Omegas that have recently given birth still have an influx of hormones. Their heightened levels of Omegon drive their omegan instincts up. They are often more emotional and more protective of children (especially their own). Scenting and nesting more are both important in this period of time because it helps comfort the dam. Not only do they create a nest for themself, but they will also create one for their young children. Sometimes these nests are completely separate and sometimes they are created within the omega’s larger nest.
Baby nests are often created for newborns, sick or sleepless infants and toddlers, or if the young child is in need of comfort for any other reason. Omegas that are close to young children that aren’t their own may also create or help create a baby nest for the child. Because nests were so abundant in early civilization and were seen as not only a comfort for dams, but also necessary for children, baby nests are seen almost everywhere. Most beta families even create nests for their babies and toddlers.
These nests are shallow and typically take up very little space. The different styles of nesting that an omega uses for an adult nest can be applied just as easily to a baby nest. Some baby nests look like miniature bed nests, some hang within a hammock or have a dome covering. The diversity of baby nests is as widespread as their larger counterparts.

Omegaverse Headcanons: Problems Each Dynamic Faces Everyday
Sigmas:
Having to deal with the choice of whether to be on scent suppressors or risk the looks and possible glares of simply entering a bad mood.
Not being sure if they’re a loner or people avoid them from the stigma that they’re at high risk for going ‘feral’.
Constantly worrying about whether alphas are going to target them for simply existing as their dynamic. This can cause them to struggle with employment and housing if the boss is a alpha, which is very common in more conservative areas.
Feeling pressured to present and try passing more as a omega or a alpha.
Wondering if those interested in courting or becoming mates with them are sigma chasers or are genuinely interested in them as people.
Alphas:
Wondering if people actually like them or feel intimidated into being polite due to their status as a alpha.
Fighting back instincts in exhibiting aggression whether sexual or violent towards to others and risking causing a scene that can easily get police involved.
Feeling isolated from others if without a mate due to how this can lower their status among beta males and other alphas as a whole. Causing them to become fixated on sexual topics rather than developing themselves to become more attractive to those they find appealing.
On this note a lone alpha or unmated alpha is also considered a larger threat to other omegas, betas, and sigmas. As this can make them more suspectable to feral behaviors.
Not being biased or harmfully ignorant towards other dynamics and their experiences which can cause them to come across as discriminative.
Betas:
Getting overworked in their professional lives since they’re not hindered the same way as the other dynamics by the biological cycles or pheromones of the other dynamics.
This also ties into their pack or personal lives as they’re the seen as emotional buffers between other dynamics. Comforting omega/sigma’s emotional influxes, or soothing a alpha’s/sigma’s bouts of aggression. Where their own emotional needs often become neglected.
In popular media they’re rarely the main character or fully represented in their struggles due to being considered ‘boring’ due to their lack of biological struggles. Causing a sense of invisibility with this portion of the population even though they make up to 45% percent of it in some areas.
The pressure for two betas mated to each other to recreate the social dynamic of a alpha and omega even though they often have very little dividing them biologically to cause this.
Rarely feeling as if their lives belong to them alone with the dependance that the other dynamics have on them to maintain a peaceful modern society.
Omegas:
The pressure to always be sweet and domestic individuals who have little desire to do anything else but take care of the home of their pack and pups.
The sense that they’re constantly being sexualized regardless of what they’re doing and who its for, even when its simply for themselves alone.
Never getting taken seriously by any dynamic in their views unless their mate shares the same mindset.
Never feeling safe while out on their own in the fear of someone sexually assaulting or sex trafficking them.
Having very little body autonomy and by far the most difficulty in gaining access to biological care.
I keep thinking of a really cute idea. So, alpha A, alpha B and omega C are all together in a relationship and their all musicians. The alphas play violin and the omega cello, but alpha B started learning later while A and C are prodigies, so he often feels bad. I like to imagine how A and C try to comfort B and how he's so good at other stuff and it doesn't matter who's better.
This is totally adorable! I'm not much of a musician so sorry if I get stuff about it wrong but here's some idea for it
Working together on parts they all struggle on
The alphas having one on one work together
B playing more solo and A and C both listening and encouraging B to continue even if he messes up
Watching YouTube videos on their instruments as practically
One of them playing while the others dance and constantly switching around
Uploading videos of them all playing online and having a lot of fun
Fixing each others instruments (like strings and stuff) whenever the other is asleep or too busy
Setting up little rewards for each time they practice a certain amount of time or learn a song
I need,,,, awkward scenarios of a couple being knotted together. Just because.
I know that I wrote some scenarios of knotted couples forever ago, but I'll do a few!
These are based on the couples being an hour + stuck together:
One of them has a Zoom meeting for work and it's semi-important. They gotta figure out a way to maneuver around their partner and try not to make it known that they are currently knotted.
The argument between them trying to figure out if they should go to the hospital or not. Doctors recommended three hours or more knotted to seek medical help.
Both of them googling ways to unknot.
Imagine they had their parents coming over? Cause you can cancel on friends or siblings, but trying to tell your parents another night? Forget about it.
Them trying all the housewife's tales or folktales. "Babe, we are not using olive oil to 'unscrew' you from me."
They essentially are gonna wait it out for a few more hours. They place a food order without thinking. Now they have to somehow make it to the door and get their food without anyone seeing them.
Doing a video call with their doctor? Jesus Christ, I'm giggling.
Imagine them being parents? Of course, the kids are in bed, but how long could they be like this? Quietly panicking and hoping they can figure something out before the kids have to get ready for school.
Having to call out of work to let them know you can't make it in? The manager, who's a nosy asshole, trying to figure out why. The person tells them and tells them to get fucked themselves.
I love the thought of the couple absolutely loving that they are stuck together. They are kind of proud that they fucked so well that they are okay dealing with the repercussions.
Alphas are usually seen as aggressive leaders and Omegas as peaceful caregivers, so how easy do you think it would be for an Alpha who was victimized by an Omega to find support and get justice?
I think it would be generally easy. At least in my AU and depending on what another person's AU is.
In my AU, laws are pretty good at protecting people from abuse. No matter your dynamic, anyone is capable of being a shitty abusive person.
Of course, everything varies in people's worldbuilding. It could be that it's downright unheard of for an Alpha to get helped or believed. Maybe there are situations where the extreme thing of stockades is brought in. It's a toss-up and simply depends.
Hey do you have any kinda ideal body type for the dynamics?
I would say there's a "ideal" body type. Everyone has their own type and every body is beautiful. I do think every dynamic is more prone to certain body types by an evolutionary stand point
For omegas they'd have more curves and wider hips. They also tend to be more on the "chubby" side because they've gotta grow another human and need the extra energy
For alphas they tend to be taller and build muscles more easily. Mostly because they would be the ones to be naturally ready to fight to guard their pack
For beta's I'm not totally sure. I think it would be for whatever the pack needs. Like if the pack needs more muscles than beta's will bulk up. I think if all is balanced in the pack then I think betas will kinda just go to whatever their first gender is. Female betas will sort of look like omegas and male beta's will sort of look like alphas
This is just my personal ideas and like I said there's no one rule for body types with the dynamics. Every body is beautiful no matter what
What would an all single dynamic pack look like, for example a pack with only Omegas?

All Omega Pack
Very focused on nurturing and protective of each other
Hesitate of anyone joining in the pack that not many know
Very cuddly
They all help each other through everything, from simple daily life stresses to getting through heats
Building giant nests together and basically turning their living room into a communal nest
They all stick very close together. Even in public they'll typically walk arm in arm
Crushes are a major thing and they all inspect said crush one way or another to ensure their packmate will be okay
All Beta Pack
They're constantly fighting over who does which chore
Very openly talk about relationships and how they feel about everything
The very definition of "did you eat today? I just cut up some fruit for you"
All Alpha Pack
You would think they're very aggressive but they're super chill
They like to look out for each and are constantly encouraging each other to better themselves
They also build giant nests for cuddle sessions
Watching movies every single night
They happily brag about their all alpha pack to anyone who will listen
Happily welcoming anyone who wants to join and works hard to make them feel welcomed
Ok, so I dislike how everyone keeps giving us Betas attributes that are literally 'no attributes at all, they are normal people'. Like, bruh, we still have things to contribute. In the wolf pack dynamic theory that this was all based on (which has been proven incorrect and entirely fictional, it was a mistake) Betas were theorized to be the hunters, the providers, while Alphas we're the protectors, and Omegas to be the child carers and the pack joker of sorts to keep the peace between Alphas and Betas. So, my theory is that in Miscecanis, or Omegaverse, whichever one, Betas are the therapy/mom friends with a Mary Poppins bag full of snacks and other necessities for their friends. It not that they have no attributes, it's that they don't have as much time to the child rearing idea because their too busy keeping their packs happy and content with necessities and food, and occasionally gifts of things like blankets, lotion, or small clay figurines that their one friend likes.

headcanons for 3 male A/O/O relationship that is new/figuring it out?
The alpha had a hard time figuring out he really loved both and danced around his feelings for a long time
The omegas knew their feelings almost immediately but also felt too awkward at first to say anything
The two omegas love teaming up to tease the alpha
The alpha can easily get overwhelmed by the scents of the two omegas
The two omegas love cuddling with each other while the alpha is out
To prevent jealousy they have a somewhat weekly meeting about how they're feeling in the relationship
Communication is important for everything!!
The alpha actually enjoys doing most of the housework and the omegas like to pick up small jobs to help with income

Many people think the alpha is cheating and the alpha regularly feels guilty about it but the omegas do their best to ignore judgement

Definitely strange and a bit shocking to the public since it's a pair that rarely goes together
The alpha is naturally extremely protective and overbearing which can be hard for many beta's to get used to
Many beta's can feel inadequate in the relationship due to how society treats them
The alpha will fight anyone who dares to speak poorly on their beta
Beta's are typically slightly shorter than alphas and the alpha loves to just pick him and lift him super higher up
They regularly get into arguments over who's paying
They're both extremely affectionate with each other in private but in public tend to keep it at just small touches to keep judging eyes off
The alpha loves to constantly remind the beta how much he loves him

What are heats/ruts?
Heats:
Heats exist for male omegas
They begin in puberty around age 15-18
They happen once a month for 3-7 days
When heats happen it means the omega is able to get pregnant and they experience a rush of fertility
Their scent gets much more intense and it can drive alphas crazy
After they have a baby they won't experience a heat for a year in order to let their body heal
For the entire heat they're in a dazed state (like when you're half asleep). It's fairly frowned upon to do anything with an omega during their heat unless discussed beforehand
Heats can be controlled with heat suppressors that act like birth control
If an omega isn't on heat suppressors than it's their responsibility to keep track of their heats
If an omega is out in public and goes into heat usually omegas and betas nearby will try to get them somewhere safe and away from alphas
Ruts:
All alphas go through ruts
Ruts are more physiological where they feel the need to breed who they love
During ruts anything can turn an alpha on and it won't take long for them to finish
Ruts begin in early adult age 18-20
Ruts can be induced by an omega nearby being in heat
When in rut alphas can be more aggressive and protective of their partners
If an alpha isn't at least dating someone and goes into ruts, it's not uncommon for them to have one off hook ups with betas
Unlike for omegas heats, there's nothing that can be done to prevent ruts from happening
Unlike heats, they don't have a set time period that they happen. They usually just triggered or happen because the alpha is in a place where they can properly care for a child

Denning Headcanons
Denning is mostly taken care of by omegas as apart of their nesting routine
While getting a den prepared the omega will focus on what the needs for the pack are (e.x., getting a nursery prepared or reorganizing how things are stored in the kitchen)
For the most part denning is apart of regular life and routine cleaning
Omegas will get extremely upset if the den becomes a hug mess, especially if they just cleaned and organized
Betas will do their best to help keep the den in over, especially when taking care of pups. Usually just spot cleaning or reorganizing the way things to look like the omega did
Pups are the main reason a den becomes a mess which makes it hard to get upset over but it can surely be annoying
When first looking for a den, omegas will be the one to have final say over it, always picking out the one that will best suit the packs currents needs
Most packs will relocate to a new den about every 10 years to keep up with pack sizes changing and other needs
Dens tend to be created fairly far away from each other in order to prevent different packs from fighting
Omegas will often create spaces in the den to match what the pack like (e.x., an art studio or super large and fancy kitchen)
Alphas will help with large denning task such as moving furniture around but only do it if the omega tells them
If there's multiple omegas in the pack they will often argue over what the den should look like and where should go where
Quick question but, you never see ANYTHING of this dynamic but what would the relationship between an Alpha male and Beta female be like? Is it basically forbidden love? Is it shunned for being unnatural? What would it be like?
So I know I have a few Alpha/Beta headcanon pairings. I do not do gender specific requests anymore, you can apply them after the fact.
I know a bunch of my fellow blogs have some of these headcanons too.
Besides that, I think depending on your AU it could be viewed as forbidden love. A lot of the time people look down at "unconventional" couples because "how will they make new babies" and whatever other homophobic ideas they come up with. So if your AU they can't make babies, maybe it is forbidden, or maybe it isn't. Up to you really.
In my AU, "unconventional" couples can mate/bond and have families (if they so wish). Only thing is that they don't have big litters and sometimes it's harder for them to get pregnant.
