“yeah…It’s okay. All I need is a trip to the nurse’s office so I can get a ice pack.”
"I didn't intend of it, I'm sorry."
“Sounds like a lot of fun. Bet you could join a club for that. Hey maybe you’ll turn out like the rest of Beacon Hills, pyschotic murderers.”
"That sounds like a very reassuring statement.."
“Likewise. So do yoh smash people’s faces into doors often or is that a new thing?”
"Hurting people on accident? Just a new hobby of mine."
“Nah, nothing like that. I’d just remember to hold the door open for a few seconds.” He laughed afterwards, hoping the girl only knew he was joking. “To be fair, I was probably walking too fast so I’ll take some of the blame here.”
"Way to add insult to injury!", she said, slapping the boys shoulder teasingly.
“Well aren’t you some hippie kid? I’m Lydia.”
"I wouldn't say I'm a hippie kid. I'm Audrey, nice to meet you."
“Yeah, I’ve had worse. This is nothing.” He waved away her concern with a brief smile and jokingly added, “Next time I might just walk in front of you though.”
"Why? Are you going to like.. push me down?"
“Sweetheart, I’ve had worse than a little bruise on the nose. I think I’ll survive. After all, what’s makeup for?”
"Just because you've had far worse doesn't make it any less important."
PJ held his head, laughing to himself, “No, it’s all good. I thought holding the door was a thing, though.” A small, kind grin appeared on his face.
"It is a thing, but there's me being rude like always."
“No, no, it’s okay. I’m okay.” Rubylyn assured, but still checking on her nose to feel if blood was present. “No nose-bleeds. I should’ve looked where I was going, sorry.”
Audrey smiled, sighing in relief as she looked at the girl. "I was in my own world, should've checked if anyone was behind me. I was just being ignorant."
“No,” Lydia winced shutting her eyes tightly trying not to get mad at the girl. “No nose bleeds. But you should really be more careful.”
"Good! No, you're right. Are you sure it won't bruise?"
“I’m absolutely fine, I just hope you’re okay! I’m so sorry… I’m a bit of a klutz in all honesty.” The younger girl said with a growing smile, her eye-line drifting towards the floor.
"Why are you saying sorry? I shouldn't be so oblivious, honestly.
“Nah, I’m good. It was more of a surprise than anything.” He assured, leaning against the threshold of the door.
Audrey let out a sigh in relief. "Are you sure..?", she commented.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were behind me.." she stated, a worried expression appearing on her face. "Are you okay, hun? No nose-bleeds or anything I'm guessing."
