I'm working on finding myself again, and one thing I've rediscovered is my love for metal music. I'm finding that aside from the subgenres I've always loved (nu, thrash, death, deathcore), that there are a lot of other cool subgenres out there. Slam is really awesome, and so is some grindcore.

Problem is, I don't really have any friends into this type of metal, let alone metal itself. Kinda hard to get excited over something and not really have anyone to share it with. My fiancée likes some metal, but it's not entirely her thing.

Yay social anxiety.
