Are you tired of sporadic updates!

Hello all! I’m going to be putting this blog on a permanent hiatus. 

I don’t think my old writings were problematic, but I was still really young while writing my fics and developing as an author and am glad that so many of you stuck with me through that 6 month period where I was active (but still bad at updating). 

However, there is some good news to this post. Because of my studies, I havent really gotten any chances to continue writing, so I would like to, probably as a summer project, create a new blog similar to this one. If I do, obviously I will share the link.

HIII!!!! How's college so far? The last post you had was about college and since then you've been afk. Where have you been?!?!?!?! Your followers miss you 😣💖

Wow I!!!! have no idea when this was asked but this is really sweet!! The sweetest thing I could ever possibly hope to open my inbox for the first time in forever to. I think the last time I’ve posted to this blog was around this time last year. I was a sophomore living on campus and now I’m in my junior year, I’m so incredibly busy that i can’t believe I ever had free time, and I live in my own house with some of the greatest people I’ve ever met!!!! 

I feel like this blog helped me grow a lot as a writer and artist when I started it up a few years ago, and I’m really thankful to everyone who requested ships and scenarios and reactions even though I was never good at getting them all out or answering them in a timely manner. 

One of my housemates rekindled my investment into kpop, so i’ve been crying over my boys in bts and seventeen, and the girls in EXID (holy shit did you see that??? they did that) and CLC and all that jazz and instead of bothering my twitter followers, since most of them are friends from school, I’m gonna start this blog up again, at the very least as just a kpop blog, because I don’t think I’ll ever had the time to write like I used to.

Adore U / Seventeens The8

Minghao held the plush doll to his chest tightly. It rose and fell with each labored breath he took pinned against the wall, side-eyeing her in the hallway. All the time they spent together and he still couldn’t catch his breath when he was in her proximity. His heart raced when he heard her heels click on the hardwood floor, progressing towards his place. He seemed to shrink with every beat. Collapsing into the void of time, he contemplated running away, but Chan was at the end of the hallway giving him the courage to finish what he came here to do with a second of eye contact and a single nod. Minghao swallowed, and stepped out and around the corner.

She stopped as he appeared, her face lighting up into a smile at his presence. “Hi, Minghao!”

“Hi, noona,” he returned her enthusiastic smile.  He often wondered about her feelings towards him. How could she be so composed when he had to make up for oxygen lost from their conversations after they part? How was that at all fair? “I have something for you.”

“Oh? What is it?” She asked, tossing her head slightly to the side in awe. Even the way her nose crinkled in confusion was adorable.

He took a deep breath, fighting the word vomit of his choked up emotions to present the stuffed animal to her. She looked down at it, grasping for it with uncertainty. Her fingers lightly brushed against his, sending electricity through his veins while she examined the bear. “What’s this for?” She giggled, finally taking the bear into her arms. She held onto it tightly, unknowingly mimicking Minghao’s previous stance with a different mindset, looking up at Minghao with a lopsided grin.

“F-for helping me out so much..” He struggled to find his reasoning. He was truly grateful that she had agreed to mentor him on many aspects, but the sessions had really just led to them conversing. And still, he felt like he had so much to thank her for.

“Oh, you didn’t have to thank me. I really enjoyed spending time with you,” she said, nonchalantly. Minghao sealed his lips as the blood rushed to his cheeks. He was afraid that the displacement of blood to his head might cloud his consciousness and make him blurt out something he doesn’t want to admit yet. Not yet. But she noticed the subtle discoloration, even through the makeup for the evening, and touched his face lightly before pulling him into an embrace. “Thank you, I love it.”

Summary: It’s not your fault that he was just so pretty. And that he begged so prettily. And that he looked so damn pretty with a piece of leather wrapped around his throat. Why did being Seventeen’s stylist mean he was off limits? And to think, this all started on a boring night with a gifted bottle of wine a pile of jenga blocks. Smut.

(A/N: I must say that I got a little carried away. The original request from @ciels-parents did not entail anywhere near as much shit as this. But I’m pleased with the outcome. I guess the reason I added all the other stuff is because one of my favourite things about dom/sub relationships is all the pretty things, like the toys and the lingerie and shit. I could be a little just for that. But that’s waaay off topic. He finds a sweet joy in listening to you talk. He loves hearing about your day, your interests; he’ll listen to you talk about books and comics for hours. But most of all, he loves hearing you sing whenever you think he can’t hear, because you truly express your feelings and worries through song. He watches you from the sidelines during important moments in your life, and sees your compassion and love for other people even when you can’t express your feelings. The two of you work so well with each other because you understand each other and are in tune towards your feelings. You worry about Jinwoo when he’s on tour and on long nights in the studio, and he acknowledges your worries and assures you of his wellbeing.

Can I get shipped with bts please. I have brown eyes and hair, I tend to get my hair dyed though. I'm still pretty short. I tend to be shy at first but when I warm up I can be really outgoing and hyper. I'm a fan of skinship but get embarrassed easily out in public. My favorite is hugs. I do gymnastics and dance and have been since I was 4 or 5. I can also be lazy when I want to and prefer to stay in and just cuddle. I like to read and listen to music. I also have OCD and ADHD and get insecure.

At first I was gonna ship you with Jimin but I think Hoseok is a better fit. He’s super outgoing a majority of the time and would think you were v cute when you act shy, but would absolute love breaking that shell to find you’re actually more hyper than you first appeared to be. It would be like opening a christmas present and finding a cute lil french bulldog or a corgi puppy or s/t. Actually half of this relationship would be him gushing over how cute you were and the other half would be him trying to keep you away from harm and comforting you. A/N: I’m sorry this has been sitting in my ask box for like a year, but as I’ve said time and time again that school has kept me impossibly busy.

Appearances are the first thing we notice about someone because they’re the first thing we see, but even if we see a gorgeous boy in school there’s a 50% chance he’s an asshole. Same concept goes with idols and artists. They catch our attention by their outward facade but we really start to admire them when we see their personality shine through. IRL though, there has been multiple occasions where I won’t be physically attracted to someone but I’ll accept their involvement in my life, and I’ll find out they’re really smart, or have a really great personality, or they’ll have really nice aspirations and want to join the peace corp or some shit and I’ll instantly become 30x more attracted to them. I take the same approach when doing ships, because even though they’re hypothetical, you have to be morally correct towards your beliefs all of the time or else you’re not only fooling everyone around you, but you’re also fooling yourself. The one person you should always be able to trust is yourself. Rant over.

6/14 Update

So I have two or three ship requests involving boys republic and ikon, however after I finish them I will no longer be taking requests for the full groups. I don’t feel like I would be able to write well for them because the only two members I’m really comfortable with the thought of analysing are B.I. and Bobby. 

I will still accept requests for various girl groups (I realize they’re not as popular with requests, except maybe LE because I’ve gotten quite a few for her, especially in the drabbles), BTS and EXO, GOT7, Winner, BIg Bang, Suju, VIXX, Boyfriend, Beast, Block B and Seventeen, along with solo artists (Lee Hi, various khiphop artists, etc).

Rules will stay the same:

Ships: only 2 groups per ask. Leave a description of yourself and clearly state which groups you want to be paired with. I’ll also do straight forward ships where you give me a short description of yourself and your preferences (including gender preference) and I’ll pair you with any random idol/rapper that I write for. 

I’ll take drabble requests any time. Give me a song or scenario + the artist(s).

Longer requests will open as I go through and finish some requests in the queue.

You like him for his silly and kind personality and wanted help from iKON which is how they the idea of making Seunghoon jealous came, you didn't know the plan

your blog brings me happiness. ^-^ may I please ask for a BTS suga scenario? Where you go visit him at the studio after you're done practicing but he's busy so you sit waiting for him and eventually start to doze off but you don't sleep you just sit there kind of tired. until he comes.

Scenario request~ Y/N has anxiety that manifests as sensory overload when it spikes, so being hugged or cuddled feels like pins and needles rather than results in being comforted. Chanyeol doesn’t realize that’s what is wrong at first when he sits beside her curled up form on the couch. He tries to pull her into his lap and play with her hair since that usually helps her feel better, thinking she just had a hard day of classes at the college. He gets really worried when she flinches under his touch and looks in pain and he asks her what’s wrong, if someone hurt her, and eventually she explains that her classes were just stressing her out more than she expected and that her anxiety is making her on extremely high alert (since she’s only gone through an overload a couple of times since they started dating). Chanyeol thinks for a few moments before getting up and going to their room and bringing out all their pillows and blankets and builds a nest around her. He then plops on the floor beside the couch, and (either sings to her until she falls asleep, or reads to her from her favorite book. I couldn't pick, both sounded so cute~ x3)

Unfortunately all of the other requests were lost with my old dinosaur 2006 laptop. If you remember sending me something that isn’t up here, or have a cool idea for a scenario feel free to send them to me!

Announcements!!!!

Hey everyone!

I’m proud to say that I am finally finished with my first year of college and settled into normal working hours, so I will try and get back on my feet with writing.

I have a couple of announcements to make:

1) Previously I had mentioned an “essay help,” and I have it typed up. If you wish to view it, just message me and I’ll send you the drive link.

2) This is probably the most important announcement I have to make. As I delve further into my studies and passions, I find myself with less and less time to write, which means I probably won’t be writing much or often anymore. Ever since I was younger, I’ve had so many stories and scenarios in my head. I would act them out for family and friends, and eventually grew to try my hand at writing them onto paper. However, I don’t think I’m really suited to be a writer, although I really desire this skill. My ideas have always been more successful as drawings and paintings and other crafts. Starting this blog was a way to hone my skill at writing, but it wasn’t as successful an attempt as I dreamed it to be. I really want to try my hand at writing again, and I will update the blog periodically, but please don’t expect too much. Even if I had the drive and willpower, I wouldn’t have the time. I’m double majoring in painting and history, and both subjects take up a great deal of my time during the school year. During the summer and winter break, I will try my hardest to keep you guys updated, so think of omghallyu as a seasonal blog. Aside from that, I’m not opposed to talking to any of you at anytime. I will link some social media accounts you guys can get in touch with me at easiest! My favorite part of running this blog has been meeting all of you wonderful individuals, and I would jump at a chance to get to know my followers better.

2) As I said before, I’ve been focusing more on my artwork lately. All of you supported me as an author and I really appreciate it. Author Update + Essay Tips

Hey everyone! I’m sorry for the spontaneous hiatus, but unfortunately my dual majors leave me with little free time to work on outside work. However, the semester is slowing down (I’m already basically finished with one class and I’m just working on finishing up the other four with essays and final projects). In addition to that, my roommates and friends will be taking final exams while I’ll be stuck on campus relishing the perks of essay and art-based classes, so I’m sure I’ll want to spend my time doing something productive (catching up on this blog). You can definitely expect some new stuff soon.

IF ANY OF MY FOLLOWERS HAVE PROBLEMS WRITING ESSAYS FOR HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE, PLEASE READ THIS NOTE. 

While my high school had an excellent creative writing program, I realized that they had totally lacked in training me to writing formally and that fact has really hindered me in my composition and history classes. This semester, however, I was blessed with an amazing professor who taught essay structure simply but effectively. I know probably all of my followers are of high school and college level age, so later on tonight I’m going to post an essay of mine from this semester that I was awarded a B+ on and break down the format my current professor taught me, and also show you what held me back from getting that A. Formal writing is a useful skill that can help everyone with future jobs/scholarships/etc, and I do believe that an explanation can make all the difference, even for the sole purpose of deserving a higher grade.
