My Shiny Milotic gijinka for Brisbane Oz Comicon! It was SUCH A BLAST and had so much fun seeing everyone and finally cosplaying Pokemon again :D I didn’t end up making the cape and being able to dye the pink in due to time constraints mainly, but I really like how it turned out :)

So there’s a Cosplay Ball [x] happening in a couple of months and I wanna do like the Pokemon Venomoth as a rococo themed gijinka!
This is what I have so far, I really like the second one, but I dunno I might keep exploring the concept but its pretty far stretched for me atm ahah! Lemme know what y’all think or suggestions!!

So it’s been 2 years since I started getting into the full swing of cosplay and forcing myself to make at least one costume every con I could attend! Honestly, like the difference in my craftsmanship is immense, when people say “I could never do that I dunno how” I feel that its such a huge opportunity missed to really push yourself and strive to develop your own well of knowledge to get better! So for every time you don’t believe you can do it because of lack of knowledge, know that literally no one knew shit all before they started either!!

Pardon me while I steal your fan to fan myself over the ginko leaf fabric. And is that outer robe shading into an ombre? If so, did you purchase the fabric that way or did you dye it yourself?
Damn but you are good.
HEHEH!! Ikr its sooo good I got the ginko leaf fabric for $10 /m with a further 30% off, cuz everything was on sale at the time when I bought it! But the outer robe was ombre bleached actually ahhah. It took me like 12 bottles of bleach and two bleaching sessions with that, but I did a really stupid thing and just like kept adding water so the ratio had super diluted bleach solution so it didn't reach the white colour I wanted it to :/ I posted a more thorough description on my page though ;)

My trashy Effie Trinket Cosplay from Hunger Games: Catching Fire Brisbane Oz Comicon ‘15, I experiented A LOT for this cosplay and I learned a tonne about working with ruffles, and pleating those little cuff things! This costume was the first one I really did with a full feet showing, and being a guy with like size 11 feet with the widest setting possible it was like so hard to find shoes at my procrastinating attitude ;P
