WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE  ( THAT  YOU  ARE  POSTING  THIS  ON ): cass’ struggles with words and speech mostly?? i also mostly use body language to read people because my auditory comprehension is absolute shit and. i like how she’s quiet?? i project onto her  with a lot of Not Talking things and i know this all sounds sort of weak and ridiculous but. she’s quiet and good.

WHAT  ARE  YOUR  FAVOURITE  ASPECTS  OF  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE: she is just. really goofy in her own way. she’s not all serious business vigilante and i feel like i don’t get to write nearly enough of her antics. she’s very playful with the people she loves.

WHAT’S  YOUR  BIGGEST  INSPIRATION  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  WRITING: for my OC it’s definitely music. there’s a lot of songs give me feelings about him. damian comes and goes like a stray cat and there’s pretty much nothing that will coax him out.

for cass?? i honestly don’t know. quiet moods, maybe? she casually lurks around my head most of the time and that’s about it.

FAVOURITE  TYPES  OF  THREADS: i really love trauma bullshit. hurt/comfort in extremes is like cocaine for my motivation to write. found family and coaxing someone through recovery of like, a mortal injury or serious trauma are my favorites tbh.

BIGGEST  STRUGGLE  IN  REGARDS  TO  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE: cass is really hard to like.....approach. she’s pretty unavailable in terms of first meetings. honestly it’s hard enough for her actual family to find her most of the time, she is the master or lurking and avoiding.

i also am really disappointed in the canon material on her. there’s very little on her actual private self outside of being blackbat, or her childhood. she mostly exists in terms of being there for other characters for whatever reason. there isn’t enough that’s just about cass. that’s partially why i branch out to FCs from other characters in my icons because i’m just so disappointed with the material and the art styles. the art styles make me cry into my pillow at night, ugh.

Let’s talk about why “but the legal age in Japan is 13!” isn’t a valid excuse for sexualizing kids

The legal age in Japan ISN’T 13. In fact, if you bothered to read past the very first sentence when Googling this, you would see the following: “The federal age of consent in Japan is 13 years old under the Japanese Criminal Law Code. However, all municipalities and prefectures have their own particular laws such as Tokyo’s Youth Protection Law which prohibit sexual activity with youths who are under 18 years old in most circumstances.”

When you say this in your defense of sexualizing fictional children, you are either showing a blatant disregard for the safety of real children, or you’re admitting you’d happily sexualize real children. You’re telling me the laws dictate your morals, and thus you find it morally acceptable to sexualize children as young as 13.

Tumblr is a US-based site, with US-based laws. Simulated child pornography is against the Tumblr community guidelines, and if Yahoo’s purchase of the website hadn’t so deeply affected the quality of reporting blogs as nasty as those who sexualize kids, your blog would be gone!

Possibly the most glaring issue is how the legality and popularity of simulated child porn has affected the lives of real children living in Japan. Assault on schoolchildren, young girls especially is a epidemic, and though lawmakers there try to say there’s no certain correlation between loli/shota being legal and the high rates of child abuse, it’s undeniably there.

I’m on mobile, so if anyone would care to add sources or anything else, please do. Long story short, stop fucking sexualizing kids. There’s no excuse, full stop. I refuse to entertain any arguments in defense of sexualizing kids. Thanks, and bye.

PSA: Safe Spaces, Politics, & Tolerance

With the current political climate, I need to stress some OOC principles for this blog. These issues are often unrelated to roleplay, and so this will be the *only* post made regarding such.

I do not do “reblog ifs....” that are not related to roleplay.

I will never reblog “unfollow me if you can’t reblog this” posts because they’re stupid and unrelated to roleplay.

That being said.....

I do not tolerate naziism, neo-naziism, white supremacy, racism, fascist concepts, eugenics, anti-semitism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, TERFs, etc. Obviously.

I will not tolerate these concepts on my dashboard.

To summarize:

In these troubled times, I want my Jewish followers to feel safe and respected. I want to emphasize their rights, opinions, histories, freedoms, and the struggles they are facing.

I want my LGBTQIA+ followers to know they are safe and supported here, especially considering I am a part of this community.

I want women, especially trans*women, to feel safe and respected here. I also want trans*men to feel the same level of safety and respect here. 

Abuse/assault/rape/CSA survivors absolutely deserve the same safety and respect.

Any persons who are nonbinary or of a differering gender identity: you are respected and welcome here. Your pronouns and comfort are important to me.

I want non-white people to feel safe and respected. Latina*, Hispanic*, Asian*, Middle Eastern*, Black, Native*, Aborigine and Mixed* peoples will never face adversity on this blog, and I will not tolerate it on my dashboard or from my followers.

People with disabilities and/or visual accommodation needs: please let me know how I can accommodate you when we interact. I am always willing to add tags for your safety and well-being, and will change my formatting in our threads to make them accessible to you. You do not have to compromise yourself to interact, and should never be expected to.

People with mental health issues should also feel safe and respected. I will do my best to make my blog safe and accessible to you. As a person with no less than four diagnoses myself, I’m here for you.
