My personal (and way too detailed) take on the matter is:
- Holland’s pressing the little emergency button over and over again until he jams it. At which point he starts just mashing random buttons in frustration. Colt is trying his damnest to get service so he can phone the front desk.
- Holland, of course, is the first to mention he needs to piss. Ryland and Colt mumble in agreement, The Driver, Court and Lars say nothing on the matter.
- After ten more minutes, Holland groans and starts unbuckle his belt to pee on the floor (“It’s the stupid buildings fault their shit breaks, I’m not going to suffer for it”).
- Everyone immediately starts yelling at him to stop, because One) They don’t want to have be stuck in an elevator that smells like piss for however long it takes for help to arrive, and Two) There are probably cameras somewhere in the elevator and Holland’s going to get in trouble for indecent exposure.
- Holland just huffs under his breath and goes back to pressing buttons.
- At this point Lars has pressed himself back into the furtherest corner, arms wrapped around himself. The yelling, claustrophobia, and the fact that he’s needed to go for a while before he even got in the elevator is just too much for him. I feel like Ryland’s teacher instinct would kick in a little for Lars and he starts trying to comfort him, he’s not the best at it, but he tries.
- Twenty minutes pass and it’s getting bad for all of them.
- Holland is very vocal, letting out long, drawn out groans of “Shhiiit”s and “Goddamn it”s. He’s holding himself and shifting back and forth and sighing heavily every few seconds.
- Colt is bent over at the waist with both hands pressing into his crotch. He’s trying to stay quiet but he keeps letting out little huffs and moans.
- Ryland is also pretty bad off. He’s used to having to hold for a long time at work, but even he’s bouncing on the balls of his feet and rocking back and forth.
- The Driver is trying to act normal. He’s got a hand in his jean pocket, holding himself, trying to be discreet.
Lars is still in the corner. His legs are shaking at this point and he’s leaked a couple times, theres a nickel sized wet spot on the front of his pants. No one’s looking, all too preoccupied with their own desperation, but Lars keeps tugging down his jacket to try and hide it anyway.
Court is probably the worst off, though you wouldn’t be able to tell. He’s leaned back against the wall with his arms crossed, his legs are also crossed but it looks natural. Even still, he’s had to go for hours now. He couldn’t possibly be any fuller, he can feel his belt digging into his bladder. Listening to Holland whining about how bad he needs to go isn’t helping either. Holland gets all grumbly when Court tells him to shut the hell up.
Court has also noticed The Driver holding himself and Lars leaking but he doesn’t say anything.
Colt is the first man down. He lets out a big, hissing leak, staining the front of his jeans. He manages to get control over himself just a second longer before another. And another. He’s wetting himself in little bursts that he can’t stop until his bladder is completely empty. It’s incredibly awkward, but Ryland tries patting on the shoulder and telling him it’s fine. Meanwhile, he’s still bouncing in place with a hand grabbing at his crotch.
- Holland doesn’t last much longer after that. It’s not as dramatic as Colt, his bladder just…gives out. He tries to seem nonchalant about it but he’s super embarrassed. The wet spot shows up so clearly on his cream coloured pants and he can feel it running in his shoes.
- It’s quiet for a minute as everyone just processes with happened.
- This is the point in which Ryland is done for. He’s still trying to hold it, but if he’s honest he’s been letting out little leaks for awhile now. He starts to feel it run down his legs and no about of grabbing himself will stop it. He’s just hopping in place and muttering a bunch of not curses.
- After he’s done Ryland doesn’t get too weepy about it because at least he’s wasn’t the first one to wet himself, but he still get a bit teary eyed.
- The Driver, at this point, can no longer be subtle. He’s rocking back and forth on his feet and eyes are screwed shut. He’s not being loud but he’s panting softly.
- It happens all at once, one minute The Driver’s pants are completely dry and the next they’re soaked. Piss splattering loudly on the floor as it jets of him, so much coming out at once.
- Lars makes maybe another minutes before he can’t hold any longer. He squeaks when he feels it all start to gush out and everyone turns to look at him. He quickly buries his face into his palms and chokes back tears.
- For second, everything calms down. Everyone’s still embarrassed and uncomfortable, but at least the pain and discomfort is over.
-Colt tentatively suggests they could tell whoever came to rescue them that the emergency sprinkler came on and thats why they’re all soaked. The Driver says that a stupid idea because who’s going to believe the sprinklers only got the floor and their pants wet.
-Holland suggests they actually do trip the emergency sprinklers with his lighter so no one will be able to tell. Ryland says that’s a stupid idea because he going to set the flipping elevator on fire trying.
- Court is not doing well. He still not squirming visually but he’s shaking like a laundry machine. The sound of all the other guys finally letting it all out and now them taking about water sprinklers is not helping. But he’s determined goddamnit. He doesn’t want to wet himself.
- The other still hasn’t notice that Court even needs to pee until Holland, who standing right next to him, hears him let out a shaky, pained breath. To which he loudly asks if Court is about to piss himself too.
- Court grinds his teeth and shakes his head, but he really doesn’t know how much longer he can keep this up.
- Colt, Ryland, The Driver and Holland all tell Court to just go ahead a let it out because they’re probably not getting out any time soon and it’s clear he really has to go. Ryland specifically warning him he’s going to get a UTI.
- Court is about to tell them all to fuck off, but it’s too late. He just cannot hold it anymore. His whole body seizes and as urine streams down his legs.
- Everyone’s staring and it’s coming out slow. Court couldn’t even force himself to pee faster because his bladder was so wrecked it felt fully numb. He pees for literally two minutes and everyone is shocked at just how much he was holding.
- The next thirty so minutes are very uncomfortable. Ryland is still trying to comfort Lars, trying to tell him that it’s fine and the workers shouldn’t make fun of them too much because it happened to all them.
- Holland is complaining about being cold and gross. No one tells him to shut up this time because, yeah, it is really cold and gross.
- Colt is mentally mapping out the safest route to get back to his trailer on set while avoiding Ryder, Gail, Jody and pretty much everyone else.
- Lars is still crying but he’s taken his head out of his hands at least.
- The Driver is just staring at his feet, refusing to say anything.
- Court is also silent, but he’s got an arm wrapped around his abdomen. He bladder is still aching from the abuse it was just subjected too.
- A group of firefighters finally pry open the door of the elevator. They were not expecting the wave of piss that came flooding out the cab the moment the door opened.
- Ryland learns that riding a bike with wet pants is extremely unpleasant.
- Colt manages to get back to his trailer and change with only a few of the staff on set noticing him.
- Holland mets up with Jackson and stubbornly refuses to explain what happened.
- Court is able to duck into a near by store and buy a new pair of pants before having to meet with his contact. His soaked pants are abandon in the stores trash can, they were a nice pair of jeans but he doesn’t even care.
- The Driver books the nearest and cheapest motel room and takes a very long shower, he washes his clothes up in the sink.
- Lars finds the nearest bathroom and hides in there for a couple hours until he finally works up the courage to call someone to come get him.
Anyway, the order goes: Colt, Holland, Ryland, The Driver, Lars, and than Court.
