SFW G/t writing blog! She/her | 29 | AuDHD | Tiny I’m always open to DMs! G/t is constantly on my mind and I would love to chat about it. I also roleplay, if you’re 21+ and interested, let’s talk about it!
Welcome to my blog! I don’t have a lot here yet but that will change over time.
This is a space where I plan to post stories about my various characters, all of which will be heavily themed around G/t (giant/tiny, extreme size differences). While some of these will involve romance, all of them will be strictly sfw aside from occasional language. None of my stories will involve vore.
This list consists of stories and characters I am actively developing and writing about, though I can’t make any promises about an upload schedule. If you want to throw any prompts my way though, feel free and I’ll see what I can do!

Don't Be Afraid
A story I wrote when I was much younger, preserved and re-uploaded here!
One-shots!
Stories that don't take place in an established story setting.
Nightmares leave you riddled with anxiety, but if you push through it, you'll find comfort on the other side.
You’re running for your life.
You’re running for your life in environments that don’t make sense, but you don’t care because whatever’s chasing you is still coming for you. You don’t know what it is, it changes shape every now and then, but it’s still coming after you. You run into a dead end, skidding to a stop. You don’t want to turn around, but you can still hear it behind you. Suddenly, it lunges and-
You wake up with a gasp.
The room around you is dark. This makes sense, it’s still the middle of the night, but after your harrowing experience, suddenly the darkness feels far more terrifying. You know there’s nothing hiding here… but what if there was?
Even after turning your bedside lamp on, you don’t feel safe anymore… at least not by yourself, that is. You’re not sure if going upstairs to wake up one of the brothers is a good idea, still not wanting to impose on them too much, but you know you’re not getting back to sleep until you do. With a shaky sigh, you slide out of your bed, constantly looking around to make sure no monsters have suddenly manifested to come after you.
The further you trek into the darker sections of their house, the more alone and exposed you feel. Being mini-giants, their house is massive compared to you, and while that doesn’t normally frighten you, it makes this journey seem much more perilous right now.
You keep close to the walls, your eyes adjusting to the limited light shining through the windows until you make it to the staircase leading to the second floor, where Drew and Erik are currently sleeping.
Thankfully, they’ve just installed a ramp at the side of the staircase, making it trivial to scale it, just for situations like this where you might need one’s attention. They may not have thought everything through when taking you on as a roommate, but to their credit, they are changing things as fast as they can to accommodate you better, and in such a huge place, it helps you feel more ‘seen’ by them. It’s evident that they care about you a lot, the reminder of which emboldens you to keep going.
You step onto the ramp, still clinging to the wall as you walk up, grateful that you never had to try and climb those stairs. Obviously, you could do it, but it would be quite the workout, and not one you necessarily feel up to right now. Your ascent up the stairs is completed with relative ease, the only problem being the anxiety that is now constantly tugging at you now that you’re so deep in the midst of the darkness.
After making it to the top of the stairs, you glance down the massive, pitch black hallway, a shiver shooting down your spine that almost makes you reconsider. Memories of your nightmare, of being chased, however, have you worried about what could be chasing you right now despite knowing there’s nothing there.
You continue to cling to the walls as you blindly venture forward, hoping that this journey will end with the comfort and security you desperately need right now. You jump when you feel a doorframe, noticing that the door itself is open, and you breathe a tentative sigh of relief knowing that you’ve made it somewhere with your sanity intact.
You slowly feel your way against the door, quickly realizing by the familiar smell that this is Drew’s room. With the limited light shining in through his window, you try to work out what is where, discovering his bed tucked in the back corner of the room. Thankfully, it’s not very cluttered, and you venture further into his room, occasionally turning around to see if anything is behind you.
As you approach the massive bed, you manage to find the mini-giant sleeping soundly. You can hear his slow, smooth breathing as he rests, guilt creeping up at the idea of disturbing him before you feel a wave of anxiety taking over. You feel a general sense of dread, knowing you can’t stand to cope with this by yourself. As quietly as you can, but still loud enough to be heard, you call out to him.
“Drew?” you whisper-yell, hearing his breathing pattern change as his sleep is interrupted.
He takes a deep breath, and you hear him mumble briefly before he reaches over and turns his lamp on, illuminating the room around you. You glance around warily, grateful to be able to see but still incredibly uncomfortable. He raises himself up on one arm, resting his head in his hand for support as he looks down at you, blinking sleep from his eyes.
“Hey short stuff, is everything alright?” he asks in a soft, sleepy voice.
You fidget nervously, feeling shy now that you can see him, and he can see you. You also feel safer, however, knowing that he can see behind you. You sigh shakily, wringing your hands in front of you.
“I-I had a nightmare,” you start slowly, but your words become frantic as you panic, “it woke me up and I tried to go back to sleep but now I just feel really anxious and I don’t know why and I can’t calm back down and I’m really sorry to wake you up, but I-“
“Whoa, hey, take a deep breath,” he interrupts, lifting his other hand vertically in a ‘calm down’ motion.
You do as he says, taking in a deep breath before letting it out. You feel a small bit of relief, but it’s not enough for you to let your guard down. You feel calmer the moment Drew speaks up again, however.
“Okay, let’s try that again,” he says gently. “You said you had a nightmare, yeah?”
You nod your head.
“What happened?”
You pause, taking a moment to try and collect your thoughts before you speak up again.
“Something was chasing me. I ran as fast as I could, but it got me anyway, and that’s when I woke up, but I still feel like I’m being chased, like there’s always something behind me even though I know nothing’s there, and it’s so dark, and....”
Drew nods his head, his sleepy gaze softening as he responds.
“And I’m assuming you need some help getting your mind off of that?”
You softly nod your head.
“I-If that’s okay, if not, I-“
“Of course that’s okay! Do you wanna sit up here with me for a bit?” he asks with a soft smile on his face.
You nod again, much more quickly this time. You know you’ll calm down if you’re closer to him, trusting that if something were to come after you, he would protect you.
He chuckles quietly, sitting himself up and adjusting his pillows and blanket to clear a spot for you to sit.
“Okay, let’s getcha up here, now.”
He leans over and lowers both arms over the side of his bed, his hands carefully reaching under your arms and wrapping around your back before he effortlessly lifts you up. Just feeling his fingers around your back relaxes you immensely, and you’re already much calmer when he sets you down in the spot he cleared for you. He then lays back down on his side, his hand holding his head up again as he watches you fondly.
“Those nightmares suck, I haven’t had one in a while but I know they definitely don’t just disappear after you wake up.”
You shake your head, glancing behind you again nervously.
“And this place is so big, I just feel so much more exposed, and it’s so dark…”
“Oh, I’m sorry… I can’t imagine what that must be like for you.”
“N-Normally it’s fine, but tonight, I just… I don’t know, I just don’t want to be alone right now.”
“Well, you’ve come to the right place, then. I’m right here, and I will be until you’re ready to go back to bed.”
You nod gratefully, idly fidgeting with your hands. He reaches forward with his own and offers it for you to hold onto, and you grab it tightly with both hands. He uses his thumb to brush over the back of one of them, and you’re grateful for the point of contact.
The two of you chatter for a while about various, trivial subjects, and it’s actually nice to get to know him a bit better. He hates coffee and thinks Erik drinks way too much of it, playfully warning you to be careful around him when he’s fully caffeinated. Both of them enjoy video games, but he prefers more relaxing video games while Erik enjoys more fast-paced, competitive games. You start to look forward to watching either of them play, now that you’re more comfortable around them.
He also plays the piano, and is learning the guitar as well. Erik plays an instrument too, but he wants to save some stuff for Erik to reveal to you himself.
Drew continues to softly talk to you until you feel calm and comfortable again. As you relax more, the conversation slows. You yawn softly, blinking your eyes to try and keep them open. He smiles triumphantly, and you can tell he’s pleased that he was able to help you with this.
“Looks like someone’s getting sleepy, are you ready to go back to bed?” he asks quietly.
You look back at the doorway to his room warily, then at him, watching his expression soften as he reaches out to brush the backs of his fingers across your face.
“Aww, you still look spooked. Don’t worry, I won’t make you go back out there.”
You watch as he lays himself back down fully on his side, the arm he’s laying on reaching around you and lifting up the edge of the blanket.
“C’mere,” he urges gently, his other hand reaching down to pat the surface of his bed right beside him invitingly.
You flush as you watch him beckon you to sleep under the covers with him. You figured he would just have you sleep in the spot you’re currently situated on, but instead he makes it clear he wants you right next to him.
You slowly crawl your way under the covers, immediately surrounded by warmth as you navigate your way over the biggest mattress you’ve ever encountered. Once you’re fully under, you turn around and look out at him, seeing him watching you adoringly. His hand pats the spot again before lifting away, leaving the spot open for you.
You crawl closer to him, peeking out to see him nod his head and further encourage you. Once you’re next to his chest, you lay down about a foot away from actually touching him. He then turns off the lamp, plunging you both back into darkness, and lowers the blanket over you both. As your anxiety returns, he reaches down and pulls you in the rest of the way, nestling you up against his chest and draping his arm over you.
Now tucked snugly against him, completely hidden away under the covers, you can feel his warmth and his presence completely enveloping you. Any fears of nonexistent threats hunting you down are immediately snuffed out as he holds you close, making sure you feel completely safe and protected with him. You take a deep breath once more, releasing it slowly and feeling it actually calm you this time.
The darkness around you, much more intense than it was before now that you’re hidden away under the covers, feels much less scary now that you have a mini-giant to hold you close.
“Sweet dreams, short stuff. I’ve got you,” he murmurs, giving you a small squeeze to him for comfort.
Feeling his voice rumbling behind you soothes you, and you snuggle backwards against him to fully embrace the comfort he’s offering you. He tucks his arm closer against you, and you reach your arms out to wrap them around him and hold him as well. You feel his chest expand behind you as he takes in and releases a deep sigh, followed by a content hum, leaving you wondering what you ever had to worry about with this idea in the first place.
Earlier that night, you awoke from sleep feeling vulnerable and terrified, but as you lay here now, cuddled up with Drew, you can’t think of a time where you’ve ever felt safer falling asleep than right now. You quietly yawn one last time, feeling the softest chuckle from him as he makes sure you stay nestled in close.
With his comforting presence surrounding you, you close your eyes and let yourself drift off to sleep, treated to far less terrifying dreams.
You are now legally required to write about the reader being sandwiched between the 2 boys… <3
I was actually thinking about this earlier! Being sandwiched like that would be amazing, it would feel super warm and comforting being surrounded like that. Rooming with two mini-giants is gonna lead to a lot of various cuddling experiences 😄
So uh, look forward to more Drew and Erik because I’m quickly growing attached to these two, mini-giants are fun to write. It’s also nice because going from the mini-giants to “standard” giants makes the scale on that end feel much more intense.
Anyway yeah more mini-giant shenanigans on the way ✍️
You're cold. One of your mini-giant roommates offer you a quick solution.
You’ve recently moved in with two mini-giants, brothers named Drew and Erik, and are now sharing a house built for people of their size, 19 feet tall. The price for rent was low, you knew you wouldn’t take up much space, and could help with cleaning, food prep, and anything else your size is advantageous for.
So far, it’s been a bit of a rocky integration. The two mean well, but clearly didn’t think everything through. Navigation around their house as a result is tricky at best and impossible at worst. Thankfully, they have been patient and quick to offer or provide solutions to the various problems you’ve encountered.
One problem didn’t have to be addressed until recently, however, that being the temperature.
The seasons are changing. It’s still warm out on some days, but the fall weather is slowly creeping in, and on some days it’s been mildly uncomfortable. Today, however, you’re completely shivering. You can’t reach the thermostat, and a space heater sized for you wouldn’t be effective in a mini-giant sized room.
Even worse, Erik is at work, and Drew hasn’t woken up yet, so you’re left to fend for yourself for the time being. You grab your blanket as you leave your room, hoping that Drew wakes up soon and you can get his attention.
They’ve started installing various ramps and platforms to help you get around more easily, but it’s been a work in progress, and the couch hasn’t been addressed yet. You wish you had sooner, because as you stare up at the gargantuan piece of furniture, you know you’re in for a bit of a struggle.
With a huff, you ball up your blanket and toss it up onto the cushions, watching it land up top with no issues. As for you, you’re in for a bit of a struggle.
You usually have one of the brothers help you up onto the couch, but Drew is still asleep, and you really don’t feel like climbing up the flight of mini-giant stairs to get to him. You’re on your own.
You start by reaching your arms up, trying to gauge how far you need to jump up before you can grab hold and hope. Thankfully, it’s not far, but it’s still going to be a considerable effort. You crouch down, hope for the best, and launch yourself upward. Your hands grab hold of the fabric of the cushions above you, and you begin to try and pull yourself up.
You’re glad Drew isn’t awake right at this moment to witness you kicking and flailing about as you scale up the couch, but you do manage to make it onto the cushion. You flop onto your back, panting with a small, victorious grin on your face. You’ve defeated gravity and scale this time.
Once you cool down a bit from the exercise, you start to shiver again, and you grab your blanket to wrap it around you as you nestle into the corner of the couch. All you can do now is wait and hope Drew wakes up soon. You won’t freeze, but you’re still going to be very uncomfortable until then.
Thankfully, it’s not long before you hear the telltale footsteps climbing down the stairs as Drew approaches. You suddenly find yourself in his shadow, looking up to see him leaning over the back of the couch with his arms crossed over it, staring down at you with a friendly, sleepy smile.
“Hey short stuff, glad to see you can climb the couch. Whatcha up to?” he asks casually.
You wrap your blanket tighter around yourself, looking up at him with pleading eyes.
“I-It’s cold, c-can you turn th-the heater on?”
Drew’s face falls as the realization hits him, flashing you an embarrassed, apologetic grin as he rubs the back of his neck.
“Of course! I’m sorry, we’re not used to having to worry about that ourselves. I’ll be right back.”
You watch him pull away from the couch and hurry off to turn the heat in their house up. You then hear him run up the stairs, back to his room? You aren’t sure, you haven’t bothered to check out what all is upstairs yet, since you haven’t needed to. You hear him climbing back down moments later, and you’re pretty sure he skipped a few steps on the way.
He finally returns, now stepping in front of the couch and watching you for a moment. You notice he’s now wearing an unzipped sweater, unsure as to why. It might be cold for you, but you know, and he’s just confirmed that he’s got a much higher tolerance for the cold. You don’t have time to think about it for long, however, as two massive arms reach down toward you.
You let out a surprised cry as he first pulls your blanket off of you, then gathers you up into his arms, flushing deeply at just how easy it was for him to do so. This isn’t the first time you’ve been picked up, they frequently have to do so to help you get around, but you can’t think of a reason as to why Drew is picking you up right now. As a result, you feel anxiety kicking in, glancing around anxiously as he takes a couple of steps with you.
He then sits down on the other side of the couch, bringing you in close to him and tucking you to his chest.
“What are you-“
“Shh, it’s okay, just hold on a second.”
You jump as you feel his voice rumbling in his chest. This is the first time you’ve ever been this close to either of the two mini-giants. They’ve always just picked you up, placed you down where you need to go, and that was that. This is clearly something else, you’re just not sure what. What you are sure of, however, is how warm Drew is.
You hold tight to him, trying to soak up as much warmth as you can before whatever happens next. It’s soon apparent, however, that you don’t have to worry about that. You watch as he reaches down, slides one half of the zipper into the other half, and slowly begins to zip up his sweater around you.
You gasp as his hand passes over you, light disappearing behind it as the sweater seals up over you, pressing you tight against his chest. There’s no worry anymore of slipping off of him at all, you’re far too secure for that to happen. You find yourself mostly shrouded in darkness as he finishes zipping up, having been left a small window near the top that you can peek out of if you wish.
You’re at a bit of a loss as you try to process what’s happening, definitely shy, but certainly not upset. You look around now that things have settled, there’s a bit of light shining in, but otherwise it’s total darkness beneath his sweater. You haven’t moved very much, your face a deep shade of red as you’re continuously held very closely against Drew.
You can feel his breathing, slow, smooth, and steady, and you curiously press your ear against his chest. You’d been curious about whether their heartbeats were slower than yours, and you’re quickly proven correct. It’s a slow, soothing sound that you realize will lull you to sleep very quickly if you keep listening, and you pull your head away.
“I hope this is okay, I figured I could keep you warm myself until the heater kicks in.”
It becomes obvious very quickly that it’s working, and you nod your head. Curled up against him like this, with his sweater making sure you stay put, his body heat is seeping into you quickly, and it’s not long before you’re no longer shivering. You adjust your position slightly, curling inward and snuggling in as you take in a deep breath, releasing it slowly. There had been a small, shy part of you that’d been hoping something like this could happen, and as you’re surrounded by warmth, darkness, and a strong feeling of security, you’re not surprised to discover that you really like this particular way of being held.
You jump just slightly as you feel gentle pressure against you from outside of his sweater, his arms reaching in to cradle you and offer more support. Now feeling even more secure, you nestle yourself against his chest before letting your body fall limp, any tension in your muscles gone as the warmth he offers travels into your body.
You look up at him just in time to catch him watching you with a warm smile, offering a shy smile back up at him before hiding your face against him.
“Are you comfortable in there?” he asks softly, beginning to run his hand over your curled up form to further relax you.
You shudder softly under the gentle touch, looking up and giving him another nod before looking away again. He chuckles softly, keeping his voice low and quiet as he speaks again.
“Can I tell you a secret?” he asks shyly.
“Y-Yeah…” you mumble.
“I uh, I’ve kinda been hoping that you’d be okay with this sort of thing. Cuddling, I mean. I’ve been wanting to hold you for a while, I hope that’s not like, really weird or demeaning or something like that…”
You feel your face becoming red again, but you push through it and shake your head, offering Drew a small smile. You’ve been secretly wanting this too, and you wriggle and shift to snuggle up against him. You lean your head against his chest, sighing deeply and closing your eyes.
“I like this,” you murmur, “I might fall asleep…”
Drew chuckles and gives you the softest couple of pats with his hand, shifting his hold on you in his arms to make himself more comfortable.
“Go ahead, I’ll still be here when you wake up.”
With Drew’s blessing, you yawn softly before adjusting your position one more time. You then press your ear against his chest again, listening to his slow, calming heartbeat and letting it lull you right to sleep.
—
You’re roused from your nap as you hear the door being unlocked and opened, sitting up and peeking out of Drew’s sweater to see Erik having returned home from his shift. Drew briefly lifts his arm to offer him a wave.
“Hey man, how was your shift?” he asks, and you lean in as his chest rumbles against you.
“Not too bad,” he remarks, setting his keys down and dropping his backpack carefully onto the floor. He then makes his way over to the couch, and you watch his expression grow curious as he notices the lump on Drew’s chest.
“What’s that under your sweater?” Erik asks, leaning in. You blush under his attention, offering a shy wave before ducking down a bit.
“Oh my god, that’s fucking adorable,” he gasps, pulling his phone out and taking a picture.
Drew chuckles, offering you a soothing touch as he slowly rubs his arm over you again.
“They got really cold, we need to keep the place warmer for them.”
“Right, yeah… sorry about that. One sec,” he says, rushing away and upstairs to his room.
You’re left mildly confused, looking up at Drew as he responds with his own confused expression. Erik charges down the stairs again moments later, his hoodie having been replaced with his own unzipped sweater, and he sits down on the couch opposite to Drew.
“Can I have a turn, if it’s okay with them?” Erik asks hopefully.
Drew looks down at you with a soft smile.
“Are you okay with Erik holding you?”
You nod your head. You’ve been enjoying this time with Drew, but knowing that Erik wants to hold you too, you feel yourself feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Both of these mini-giants want nothing more than to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and apparently cozy as well.
You shudder as you feel a rush of cooler air, the place still taking time to warm up, as Drew unzips his sweater and exposes you. He then gently lifts you with both hands, pulling you away from him and reaching toward Erik. The other brother carefully takes you from Drew, smiling as he brings you over to his chest and holds you close.
You smile back, curling up in the same manner as you’d done with Drew. After making sure you’ll be steady for a moment, Erik reaches down and brings the zipper together, slowly zipping his sweater up over you and obscuring you from view. Once more, you watch as darkness envelopes you, pausing a bit from the top to give you that same window his brother left for you. You’re pressed snug against his chest, and you feel his warmth surrounding you.
“Like this, right?” he asks, his arms reaching in to wrap around you and keep you supported.
You look up and give him a nod, watching his face light up as he sees you making yourself at home. You snuggle yourself up, feeling as warm and safe as you did with Drew. You see him look back at Drew with adoration and disbelief, sighing deeply and pressing your ear to his chest to listen to his heartbeat. You can’t help but laugh to yourself at how much faster it is than Drew’s, a clear indication that he’s very excited about this.
“Apparently they’ve been wanting to do this for a while. Well, not this exactly, but just being held and cuddled and stuff, like we wanted to hold and cuddle them,” Drew revealed, his voice just slightly muffled to you from beneath Erik’s sweater.
Erik looks down at you, who’s blushing and hiding your face against his shirt. Before he came home, you weren’t sure if Erik had similar desires, but with Drew so openly revealing that to him, his use of the word ‘we,’ and Erik’s eagerness to get involved, you can only assume now that he does.
“Aww, it’s okay! There’s no need to be so shy,” Erik says, rubbing his hand over you as Drew had been earlier, and you slowly melt against him. “Now we all know, and that just means we can cuddle you more going forward, how does that sound?”
You nod your head, a smile on your face as this all sinks in.
“Really, it looks like all we need to do is leave the heater off…” Drew chuckles.
“That’s mean,” Erik replied, but you laugh quietly, catching his attention.
“He’s not wrong, this is really nice… you guys are so warm.”
You look up at Erik, and he looks back down at you, his concern for you quickly melting into adoration as you smile up at him. He gives you a gentle squeeze, chuckling quietly at your eagerness to rely on them to keep you warm.
“You know we would still cuddle you anyway, even if you’re already warm, right?”
“Mhm…” you mumble, quickly losing interest in continuing a conversation as Erik’s hold on you starts to lull you into an even deeper, sleepier state of calm.
You still feel quite tired from your nap being interrupted, and curl inward more, nuzzling your face into Erik’s shirt. You yawn as you snuggle in, feeling his warmth radiating through you and keeping you nice and cozy. It’s easy to imagine yourself falling into a doze again, being held and cradled so close.
“No way, you’re just gonna… fall asleep on me like this?” Erik asked, his voice laced with a gentle awe and bewilderment.
“They fell asleep with me earlier before you got back home. I think cuddling like this makes them sleepy.”
Erik looks down at you as though to confirm, and you nod your head. He blinks a few times before grinning.
“This is the best,” he starts with a soft whisper. “Go ahead and get as much sleep as you need. We’re not going anywhere,” he softly croons, his hand idly drifting up and down over the lump you form under his sweater.
You feel warm, happy, safe, and loved as you drift off to the sound of Erik’s voice, his breathing, and heartbeat as you’re held so close to him. This isn’t how you imagined today would go, but you’re not disappointed in the slightest. You now have not one, but two mini-giants willing to hold and cuddle you whenever you need or want it, and it looks like they’re going to enjoy it just as much as you do. This living arrangement just got a whole lot cozier.
So when I started this blog I thought I’d have like 50 followers at most and I would have been totally happy with that.
There are 400 of you now.
I don’t know what’s happening but I’m glad so many of y’all enjoy the stuff I put out there! I have so much fun writing it and it brings me joy that it brings you all joy too. Thank you so much for being here!
Hmm but what if a minigiant picked you up if you were cold and zipped you up under their sweater, leaving you a window at the top to peek out of as you warm back up all wrapped up and cuddled close 👀
I updated my pinned post so all of my g/t povs should be linked there now. I definitely didn’t forget to do that over the past couple of months, nope….
(A/N: This is an introduction to my OC, Devon, who I've had since the early 2010's, the age when the G/t community was primarily on DeviantArt. The scenario here is one I've wanted to write about for a while. What happens when you, a G/t enjoyer, discover that your crush has the ability to sizeshift, and they find out that you like it? It's a best-case-scenario for a G/t fan to reveal such a vulnerable part of themselves. Also, this one is long at 5,644 words! Art at the end is by therealhearts and I have been given permission to repost it here. This is ridiculously self-indulgent, but I hope you all enjoy anyway!)
“Hey, can I talk to you for a second?”
You find yourself startled awake, glancing over your shoulder at your friend, Devon. He looks nervous, and you have no idea why, but you sit up and rub your eyes before nodding.
“Sure… is everything okay?” you ask with a yawn.
He looks away, his hand rubbing the back of his neck before running through his short, dark brown hair.
“It’s… complicated, but I’m not mad at you or anything. I just need to tell you about something.”
“Something like…?”
“Like a secret I’ve been keeping, I can’t keep hiding this from you. You deserve to know.”
You look at him warily, and he sighs anxiously.
“It’s okay, I just need you to promise me you won’t get scared. I’m not about to tell you I’m like a serial killer or something like that, but it’s, ah... still a bit crazy,” he says with a nervous laugh.
“And we have to do this now? It’s one in the morning…”
“Yeah, I know. I’m sorry, but I don’t think I can sleep until I tell you.”
He gestures for you to follow him, and you do so, rising from the couch you were sleeping on groggily, curiosity and anxiety both tugging at you. He leads you into the garage, a spacious room with no vehicles occupying it, and turns the lights on. He takes a few steps toward you and gently places his hands on your shoulders, and you can’t help but stare into his eyes. It’s obvious just how anxious he is, and it’s mirrored in your own eyes.
“Okay. You trust me, right?”
“Well yeah, but you’re not making a lot of sense right now.”
“I know, I’m just… worried you might see me differently after this, or that you’re not gonna want to be around me.”
“You’re acting really weird, are you sure you’re okay?”
“I…. I will be after this, I think. I hope.”
“Okay, can you please just tell me what’s going on?”
“Right, yeah. So, I’m not really sure how this happened, but I can… change my size. Like, I can grow.”
You blink at him. You feel a jolt of excitement in your chest at the idea, trying not to outwardly express it.
“…Show me.”
He raises his brows at you.
“You’re not gonna scream or run away and hide?”
“I honestly don’t know, just show me.”
He takes a deep breath, his eyes watching you carefully. Lifting his hands from your shoulders, he backs away a couple of steps and gives you one last ‘are you sure?’ look. You nod softly, and he nods in return before he slowly increases in size a few inches. You jump as you watch him grow taller right before your eyes, clutching your hands close to you as you try to process what you’re seeing.
“It’s okay, I’m not going to hurt you,” he quickly says as he stops, his hands raised. He sounds panicked, but you shake your head, you know this already. You’re not afraid, you’re astonished.
“H-How long have you been able to-”
“I don’t know, but it’s been a few months since I found out.”
You pause and blink at him a few times.
“…Can you grow any more?”
He looks at you incredulously, like he can’t understand why you’re so calm about this.
“This doesn’t freak you out?” he asks, gesturing at himself with his hands.
You shake your head, unable to take your eyes off of him. He grows another few inches to answer your question, and you find yourself in awe as you look up at him. You were already short compared to him, but this is something else entirely. Lost in the utter absurdity of what you’re witnessing, you don’t realize that your face has turned a deep shade of red.
His eyes soften when he sees you flushing, and he smiles warmly in response, any confusion or worry simply melting away. You finally catch yourself staring and look away from him, at the ground, and nervously wring your hands. Your heart begins racing as he then takes a few steps closer until you’re only a couple of feet apart. He reaches down with a hand that’s now quite big, gently tilting your chin up to look at him. You notice him grow a bit more, feeling his hand increase in size and watching him become even taller.
There’s a soft, yet somewhat playful glint in his eyes as he watches you, having not expected this sort of reaction from you at all.
“What’s got you so flustered? I was so worried that you’d be afraid of me after this, but you only seem more shy now. Is this… do you like this?”
You stare into his eyes briefly before looking away, suddenly feeling like you’ve been caught doing something wrong. Your cheeks turn a deeper shade of red as he’s effectively got you cornered, yet you know that he would still let you pull away if you needed to.
“I-I… d-do you like it…?” you ask in an attempt at redirection, not wanting to admit it.
He smiles softly, chuckling warmly as he grows another few inches, now standing at eight feet tall, looking down at you with an expression of adoration toward you that makes you feel weak in the knees.
“I do now.”
You already knew you liked him, but for some reason you can’t explain, him being able to grow in size immensely increases the intensity of your crush on him. You realize now, too, that he’s either just found out about your crush, or he’s known for a while now. At this point, you suspect it’s the latter.
He watches you fidget nervously, his thumb reaching up to softly brush over the side of your face.
“Hey, it’s okay. Do you want me to grow more?” he asks, his tone now soothing and comforting. He’s clearly much more relaxed about this ordeal now than he was at first, and he doesn’t seem to be judging you about this.
You sheepishly nod your head, your breathing quickening as you feel him pull away and step back before watching him sit on the ground cross-legged.
He begins to increase in size again, taking up more space in the garage until his head nearly bumps the ceiling. He then stops and watches your reaction, but all you can do is meekly stare at him, wanting to get closer but too shy to initiate anything. He seems to take notice.
“It’s okay, you can come here,” he calmly encourages.
He slowly uses one hand to beckon you over, waiting until you’re close enough before reaching both hands under your arms and lifting you up, bringing you closer and setting you down in his lap, facing sideways.
The moment you’re sat in his lap, you feel his presence all around you as you’re held in his arms, with one of them resting behind your back for support and looping around to hold your legs so they’re folded in, curling you against him. Feeling his warmth surround you causes you to shudder and flush, and you notice his head tilted down, watching you closely with his deep brown eyes that you can now see so much more detail in.
The moment you make eye contact, you look away, finding it incredibly difficult to keep a small little smile off of your face as he’s holding you. You tilt your head down to try and hide it, but it quickly becomes obvious that he’s seen it anyway.
“Oh, you like this a lot, don’t you?” he gently teases, but his voice also holds genuine undertones, and a strong sense of relief.
Knowing you’ve definitely been found out, you lightly nod your head, sharply inhaling when he gives you the softest squeeze inward before slowly exhaling. Even if you are shy and flustered, you’re still enjoying this immensely. You feel yourself briefly pressed tight against his chest, your hands now finding out just how much definition his abdomen has through his shirt as you place them on him reflexively. You freeze up, finding all of this a lot to process as he relaxes his arms and gives you back a little room in his lap.
“I’m glad you’re not afraid. Admittedly, I’ve known you’ve liked me for a while, but I wanted to wait until I knew whether or not you were going to be afraid of me like this first before I said or did anything.”
You feel a sinking feeling in your chest as you realize it was clearly more obvious than you thought it was, and you find yourself sitting a bit stiffly in his lap. He leans down after a moment to check on you.
“Are you okay?”
You feel him gently brush against your arm, leaning just slightly into his soft touch as you look up at him. Seeing the warmth in his eyes, the way he smiles at you sweetly, you find yourself melting just a little. You nod softly, though your hesitance is still written all over your face. He reaches up to hold the side of your face in his hand, his thumb rubbing over your cheek.
“Still feeling a bit shy about all of this?”
You nod your head again, fidgeting with your hands before he gently grasps them both in his other hand.
“You don’t have anything to be ashamed of or embarrassed about. If I haven’t made it clear enough, I like you too, and I’m actually really glad you like this new part of me that I’m still trying to figure out.”
You feel your heart flutter when he confirms that your feelings are mutual, and you feel a wave of relief now that the scary part of having these feelings for him is over. You still fidget anxiously, however, as this has now instead left you feeling a little overwhelmed. He takes notice, humming in thought for a moment before speaking up.
“I’m gonna re-situate you a bit here, are you alright with that?”
Once more, you nod your head, feeling both excitement and nervousness as you think about what he might possibly do next. He pulls both hands away from behind you, and you watch and feel him reach them under your arms. With the same amount of care as before, he carefully lifts you up, rotating you to face away from him before setting you back down in his lap. You feel your back brushing against him, flushing immediately.
“Doing okay so far?”
You jump, not having expected to hear and feel his voice rumbling behind you. You feel him chuckle softly, but he sounds more sympathetic this time.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to spook you. I haven’t been too loud, have I?”
After taking a moment to acclimate to it, you shake your head. You can feel the heat of his body directly behind you, his torso a looming presence as you glance around, unsure of his next move.
It’s not long before you find out, seeing his arms reach in to loosely wrap around you. You place your tiny hands on one of his forearms, and he places his hand over and strokes his thumb across them.
After a few moments of still sitting a bit stiffly, he begins to slowly squeeze you closer to him. You can feel his abdomen pressing up behind you, and you’re now acutely aware of his breathing as he tucks you in close.
If you weren’t already flustered enough at this point, you certainly are now. You try to relax a little, but instead you only tense up more as you begin to cling to him. You wonder if some small part of you is worried that this will all go away if you let go.
“Hey.”
You feel him rumble behind you, tilting your head back to look up at him.
“Are you sure everything is alright? You’re holding on pretty tight there.”
You look back down, seeing his thumb still rubbing the backs of your hands. The affectionate gesture, his arms holding you to him and keeping you warm, it’s all still so new to you.
“I-I’m sorry, I’ve just… never been close to someone like this before.”
You feel him hum an ‘aww’ sound briefly behind you, feeling it vibrate through you into your very core.
“I understand. You don’t need to apologize, this is new to me, too. I mean, I’ve held people before, but I’ve never been big while I’m holding someone.”
You feel him lean over you, his shadow looming and all encompassing. He speaks to you just above a whisper, a hint of his voice still present and rumbling through you as his chest presses against you.
“Would it help if I told you I really like holding you like this?”
The wave of warmth rushing through your chest as he speaks those words to you so softly, along with the chills that run down your spine, is like nothing you’ve ever felt before. Knowing that he’s enjoying this helps you feel less shy about it, and you finally begin to slowly relax in his hold.
You release your grip on him, letting go of your worries as you trust him to hold you and not let go, and as you hoped, his hold on you does tighten just enough to account for it. You release any lingering tension in your muscles until you fall limp, hearing him chuckle as he makes sure you won’t slump too much.
“Comfortable?”
“Mhm…”
“Good.”
Once he’s confident in his hold of you, he raises a hand to the side of your face. You feel a wave of warmth as he brings it in, resting it over your cheek, but really it encompasses the entire side of your head. He begins to softly stroke your temple with his thumb, a display of affection that finds you closing your eyes in response.
Feeling your head resting in his hand, you’re lulled into a state of deep calm as he holds you. You can feel his heartbeat behind you, it’s so soothing, what could go wrong if you just closed your eyes for a second…
.
.
.
…You aren’t even aware that you’ve dozed off until you feel the gentlest of shaking, jolting awake once more and looking around in a brief moment of confusion.
“Easy, it’s alright, you just fell asleep,” he chuckled.
Realizing now what’d just happened, your face turns beet red, feeling both embarrassed and self-conscious that you’d just fallen asleep in his lap like that. He doesn’t seem to mind, however.
“Hey, it’s alright. I would have let you sleep more, but my back would kill me if I sat like this all night.”
“How… How long was I out?”
“About twenty minutes.”
“Oh, I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to-“
“Shh, it’s okay, I promise. If it were a problem, I wouldn’t have let it happen in the first place. It was actually really cute, if I’m being honest.”
You still find yourself feeling embarrassed about it, but he once more strokes the side of your face before tilting your chin up. Even though his face is upside down to you, you can still see the warmth and care in his eyes.
“It really is okay. In fact… If you’re comfortable enough with me being this big to fall asleep in my lap, how do you feel about me being even bigger?”
You feel a shiver run down your spine as he proposes such an idea, looking up to see him watching you warmly. Just how big could he get? You don’t know, but it’s clear he hasn’t shown you the full extent of his ability to grow yet. You nod your head softly, seeing him smile as he approves of your response.
You can’t help but feel a little disappointed as he carefully lifts you from his lap and sets you on the ground, shifting in size back down until he’s his normal height and standing to his feet.
“Okay, I’m gonna grab something for you real quick, then we’re gonna go outside to the hills.”
“Wait, outside?”
“Yeah, I can’t really fit in here if I grow bigger than I just was.”
“Okay, but… Sleeping outside?”
“It’ll be fine, I’ll keep you safe and warm, I promise.”
You flush deeply as you think about what that could feel like as you watch him step back into his place from the garage entrance. Moments later, he comes back out carrying a pillow and blanket in his arms. After making it back to you, he holds them out toward you, and you awkwardly grab hold of them in your own arms. You realize quickly that they aren’t yours, briefly confused until you notice that they pleasantly smell like him.
“There, that should be plenty warm for the night. Let’s go,” he said, heading toward the exit into his backyard from behind the garage.
Stepping through the back door, you’re met with a small fenced area, but he exits through the fence gate and begins to wander into the fields behind his home.
He approaches a sizable hill, motioning for you to follow him as you carefully try to carry his pillow and blanket without dropping either. He pauses at the base of the hill, nodding in approval.
“This should do nicely. I’m going to get a bit bigger than I was before, just let me know if you start getting scared and I’ll stop.”
You nod your head, watching him begin to slowly grow until he reaches 10 feet before sitting himself down in the grass. He then continues to grow, surpassing 17 feet before pausing to check on you.
“Is this too much?”
You softly shake your head.
All you can do is watch in awe as Devon continues to grow, his body taking up more and more space until he reaches 22 feet, then stops, looking very comfortable at his current size. He then turns his head to look at you, lifting his arm and motioning for you to approach him.
You realize almost immediately that this was much easier when he was in charge, picking you up and putting you down where he wanted. Now, you have to convince your muscles to move when you’re still trying to take in just how big and cozy he looks. He makes it worse by patting his abdomen invitingly, making it clear where he wants you settled. You’re already struggling to keep your knees straight as they threaten to go weak, and Devon speaks up, his voice a bit louder now, but still soft and gentle.
“Come here, I want to hold you again.”
Hearing him confirm that he isn’t simply humoring you, a concern that annoyingly won’t go away, gives you a slight boost in confidence.
It’s enough to get you to slowly wander up to his side, at the very least. This close, the difference in size hits you even harder, and you pause in place as you stare up at him, seeing him watch you with warmth in his eyes. You flinch just slightly as he reaches down, gently taking the pillow and blanket from your arms with careful fingers that are now much, much bigger than even in the garage. Feeling someone so massive take something from you so delicately is difficult to wrap your head around, but he smiles as he lifts his hand from you, placing the bedding into his other hand before lowering his arm down by his side on the ground next to you.
After he’s made it clear that you have to climb up onto him yourself, you step forward and place your tiny, slightly shaky hands on the side of his forearm. You kick off your shoes and take a deep breath before using it to brace yourself as you slowly, awkwardly start to climb your way up.
Crawling over his arm, his skin, is an experience you never thought you would be living right now, but here you are, stumbling slightly as you feel him tense up beneath you reflexively. You reach out and grab onto his shirt to steady yourself before continuing upward, climbing up and onto his abdomen with relative ease. Once you’re up, you turn to look and see him smiling softly.
“There we are. Go ahead, make yourself comfortable.”
You jump as you feel his voice beneath you, and that’s the moment it sinks in that you are completely on top of him now, your weight supported by him entirely, with solid ground being a few feet below you. You look around with slightly wide eyes as you try to take it all in, and grab onto his shirt with a slight jolt after his abdomen raises below you, realizing that you can feel his breathing beneath you as well as his speech. You feel it raise and lower you slightly, feeling your face flush as you realize just how close, personal and intimate this situation is, much different from sitting in his lap earlier. Here, he’s supporting your entire body atop him with ease, and you can tell just how muscular he is beneath the shirt you’re now laying on. You glance up, both hearing and feeling him chuckle beneath you as you sit and process, his hands coming up to rest beside you.
You shift yourself a bit until you find a position that’s a little more stable, your breath hitching as you feel the warm, living surface beneath you twitch in response to your movements. Everything he does now just feels much more massive in scale, and you find yourself sitting rigid, your face a very deep shade of red, as you try to keep your composure.
Devon catches this, and reaches over to gently tilt your chin up toward him. He wears a warm smile as he regards you comfortingly, his thumb brushing across your cheek.
“Don’t be shy, you can relax. It’s okay.”
He releases your chin as he carefully reaches his arms up to loosely encircle you, and you watch them hover nearby, waiting patiently. You adjust yourself into a position where you’re half laying down, still trying to get used to the fact that you’re resting on such an incredibly massive being. Movement is slightly unsteady, but you finally find a position you’re comfortable with. Laying down almost on your back, you use your elbows to keep yourself supported, resting quite stiffly. You don’t know why you’re still so shy despite Devon clearly giving you all indications that he wants this too.
“All the way, little one,” he croons, reaching his hand over to gently stroke down the side of your face with the backs of his fingers.
Those words, followed by that motion, cause you to release all of the tension in your muscles as you slowly melt, and his hand follows you as you finally lower yourself down the rest of the way. Leaning back entirely against him, you take in a deep breath, slowly letting it out as any apprehension left fades away. You even go so far as to snuggle in, wriggling your upper back and shoulders against him until you’re perfectly comfortable.
“That’s it, settle yourself in. I’ve got you,” he reassures. You can hear the beaming grin on his face through his voice as he reaches down, slowly placing his arms across you and pulling you in.
With his arms wrapped gently yet firmly around you, you’re not going anywhere, and you’re not upset about it one bit. Feeling a bit more confident, you decide to try and get a conversation going.
“S-So, you said this started a few months ago, right?”
“Mhm. I really don’t know what caused it, but I felt something… awaken in me, I guess? I really don’t know how else to put it. I’ve messed around with it a little, but I don’t know exactly how big I can get, and I haven’t been too interested in finding out, since I don’t want to hurt or scare anyone.”
You give his forearm a squeeze with your hands, an attempt to offer him comfort.
“Well, I’m not scared.”
You look up at him, giving him a smile as he looks back down at you. He smiles softly in return.
“Then I guess I have someone to experiment with this around now, don’t I?”
You feel yourself shudder under the tone of his voice. It’s teasing, but also incredibly enticing. He knows you like seeing him grow now, and as you flush deeply again, it’s obvious he’s learning exactly how to fluster you and taking full advantage of that knowledge.
He chuckles beneath you as you hide your face beneath your hands, and you know he’s pleased that his attempts are working. As if teasing you even more, he grows a couple more feet around and beneath you, now at 25. His forearms get just a smidge bigger as they gently squeeze in, holding you to him very securely.
“Hmm, look at how small you are, now… almost small enough to fit in my hands,” he says, clearly not done learning what your limits to this might be.
The thought of only his hands holding you has you swooning, and you suddenly feel yourself going weak at the thought. You feel him hum pleasantly beneath you.
“Mmm, you like that idea?”
You nod your head, and he moves one of his arms to bring his hand in, brushing his thumb against your cheek as he smiles down at you.
“How about we try that tomorrow, then, hm? I’d do it now, but I’m already comfortable, and I’m enjoying holding you like this.”
You nod again, his gentle touch relaxing you further as you snuggle in against him. You finally feel exhaustion creeping in, the adrenaline starting to wear off from the initial shock of Devon’s size shifting reveal. You yawn as you pull your arms back in toward yourself, trusting him to keep you secure.
He carefully tilts your head up toward him, smiling as he sees how tired your eyes are, as if he’s been waiting for this moment specifically.
“Are you getting sleepy again?”
You nod your head, yawning again as you lean into his hand.
“Let’s get you all tucked in, then.”
You turn your head to stare up at him with concern.
“Wait, isn’t the ground uncomfortable to sleep on, though?”
You watch him shrug.
“Eh, it could be worse, I've done it before. Honestly, though, getting to sleep out here like this with you is worth a little back pain tomorrow,” he says with a smile.
You still don’t feel totally satisfied with his answer, but you’re too tired to argue any further. You yawn once more and rub your eyes, trying not to pass out right then. You hear a deep sigh, and you can feel the anticipation he’s had for this moment.
“Is it alright if I make myself bigger?” he asks warmly.
You nod your head, thinking that he probably means a few more feet. Instead, you feel him shifting beneath you as he grows until he’s reached a staggering 40 feet. You feel tiny now as you lay atop him, glancing around in shock and mild apprehension as you realize just how vast he is beneath you.
“Come here,” he croons, his voice rumbling beneath you in a soft, loving tone.
You look up just in time to see his huge hands approaching, feeling a rush of anxiety and adrenaline in your chest. You glance around quickly, feeling significantly overwhelmed at this point. You felt confident when you told him you weren’t scared of him, but you didn’t expect him to get this big, and you can’t help but feel just a smidge frightened.
You squeak as you begin to back away from his hands, only to find your efforts immediately thwarted as he moves one hand behind you, blocking you. You lean to the side to try to escape, but he’s quicker than you are, blocking you on both sides and closing his hands in.
His thumb brushes against your shoulder as you give up, clinging tightly to his shirt and trembling. You jolt with a quiet whimper under his touch, and you hear a hum of concern.
“Oh no, easy, easy…” he murmurs softly. “Shh, shh, shh, shh. It’s okay, sweetheart, you’re safe.”
You feel his voice softly rumble beneath you, hearing care and comfort in his tone as he tries to quell your fears.
“Do I need to shrink back down a bit?”
You slowly shake your head, his offer to shrink comforting you, a confirmation that you feeling safe and comfortable are still his top priorities. You may be afraid, but you also want to push through this. You take a few deep breaths as you try to ground yourself. He won’t hurt you, you know this, so what is there to be afraid of?
You shiver as a gust of wind breezes through, instinctively huddling closer against him. You hear another soft ‘aww’ from him, and then feel warmth around you. You lift your head to see his hands cupped around you, blocking the breeze from hitting you.
You look up at him, and he watches you with a smile. Any fears you had simply melt away as with that small gesture, he manages to wordlessly calm you down. You smile back after a moment as you adjust to his new size.
“May I pick you up?”
You nod your head, watching as his hands close in around you. With the utmost care and precision, he softly scoops you up off of his stomach using both hands and lifts you up. You cling tightly to his thumb as he brings you up to his chest, letting go only after he sets you back down. His hands pull away, and you look up to see him watching you fondly.
“How do you feel sleeping here?”
He holds up his blanket and pillow in his hand, and you nod your head, knowing that this means putting all of your trust in him. He smiles as he reaches his hand in, focusing closely on his movements now that his hands are much bigger to you. He uses his fingers to stroke down your back, gently coaxing you into laying down on his chest.
“It’s alright, darling, you can relax. I’ve got you.”
He reassures you once more, as he has been the entire night. Always checking on you or encouraging you closer, it’s very obvious that he cares about your perception of him at this size immensely, and you suspect he was bracing for a much more negative reaction to all of this. With the way his huge fingers are still so delicate in their movements, you begin to slowly relax on his chest, curling up and tucking your arms in.
He offers you the pillow first, and you take it from him to rest it beneath your head, adjusting it until you find the best position for it to go. He then drapes the blanket over you, and you take a deep breath as you snuggle inward under it and on his chest. You then feel the weight of both of his hands resting over you, holding you close and making sure you’re warm, and that you feel safe with him. The gentle pressure is enough for you to feel his heart beating in his chest directly beneath you, lulling you into an even deeper state of calmness.
“So, what do you think?” he asks quietly, and you shudder as you feel the deep vibrations in his chest rumbling through your entire body, chills running down your spine. You feel his thumb rubbing your shoulder, soothing you further.
You think about everything that’s happened tonight. You were initially annoyed that he’d woken you up so late at night, but that annoyance quickly faded into wonder as Devon revealed his secret to you. After discovering that you like this secret, he’s wasted no time in taking the opportunity to hold you, to wrap you up in his arms and cuddle you close to him. He was quick to comfort you in your moment of fear, solidifying your trust and strengthening the quickly growing bond between the two of you.
“I… I really like this,” you whisper meekly, clinging to his shirt once more as you relax under his gentle stroking. You feel a soft hum of satisfaction beneath you, and you curl yourself further inward.
“I do too. Since this happened, I’ve been hoping that someday I could hold you like this, that you would feel safe around me, and here we are. Thank you for trusting me with this, it means a lot to me.”
His voice is so calm, so soothing, so warm. Combined with his hands holding you close, his heart beating beneath you, and the gentle warmth enveloping you from all sides, you’re struggling to stay awake in such an environment. You yawn softly, your eyes closing as you begin to let sleep take you.
“Mmm… is there anything I can do to make you feel more comfortable, little one?”
“Mm-mm…” you quietly mumble, shaking your head. You’re already feeling nice and cozy after being lovingly tucked in on his chest. You don’t know if it’s even possible for you to be more comfortable than you are right now.
“Then sleep well, darling. I’ll be right here if you need me,” he whispers, continuing to stroke your shoulder as you’re slowly drifting off.
Focusing on the feeling of his breathing and heartbeat beneath you, both a bit slower with his size increase, you’re soon lulled to sleep, excited about what the morning might bring, wondering what it will be like to see him grow even bigger…
I’ve been wanting to write opposing povs for a while now, had fun with these two for Handheld, might go back to others and post the opposite pov at some point
You know the struggles this tiny being before you has faced. Everything is dangerous to them, but most dangerous are people when they don't know what their intentions are. If they trusted the wrong person, you shudder to think of how easily they could hurt them in so many ways. This is why it astonishes you that they’ve chosen you as the one they trust the most.
Not that you’d hurt them, of course. That you might accidentally do something like that has given you nightmares, but they don’t seem to think that would ever be the case. As you sit and watch them, you stretch out your arm toward them and offer them your hand, an invitation to them. You keep it still as they approach, your heart fluttering as they immediately climb on, like it wasn’t even a decision they had to make to do so.
You feel their cold little hands making contact with yours, your fingers twitching as they do. It’s a reaction you tried to fight back once, worried that they would think you were about to grab them before they told you that it didn’t bother them. They said it was nice to see a reaction like that, to know that they affected you in the various ways that they did. So, you let your hand react as you feel their weight crawl towards and settle in your palm.
You know at this point you would be safe to pick them up, but you don’t. Instead, you simply hold them as they are, a grin on your face as you watch them so fondly. This minuscule being puts their life into your hands, quite literally, on a regular basis, but you still sometimes have to stop yourself from going through the motions. You need to make sure you take none of this for granted, that you recognize how important it is that they trust you so much.
You also don’t want to just skip over small moments like this, giving yourself the opportunity to just enjoy how they feel sitting in your hand. You love that they enjoy this as much as you do, it makes it easier to feel less guilty when you want attention from them. You don’t even need to pick them up to just hold them like this, they’re already being held, and you see them begin to take advantage of the fact that you haven’t lifted them just yet.
You feel warmth in your chest as they begin to lay down, watching them curl themselves up right in the middle of your hand. Their head rests just below your fingers, taking advantage of that soft, plush section of your hand to cushion it. They relax completely, and you know the warmth you offer them is something they cherish, and that they can be warmed in such a special way in the first place.
You know how much vulnerability this kind of situation puts them in, even more so in this particular position, and you marvel at the amount of trust and confidence they have in you to keep them safe. They cozy themselves right up against you, and you know your world is all the richer for having them in your life. Despite how small they are, they matter so much to you, and it’s so important to you that they can seek comfort and safety from you like this.
You curl your fingers inward in a bid to make them feel less exposed, to protect them from every threat possible, even though you know none exist at this very moment. You have such an ample opportunity to hold them, and you’re going to enjoy every moment of it. They smile as they nuzzle their face against the soft surface they’re snuggled on, and you watch them close their eyes. There’s no greater trust that they can place in you than that, making themselves entirely dependent on you for safety, knowing without a doubt that you won’t do anything to betray that trust.
They look so happy, so content and relaxed, and you can’t help but want to interact with them a little. Sure, you have them laying in the palm of your hand, but you know they’ll appreciate this gesture. You bring your other hand over, curling your index finger inward and gently brush it across the side of their body. You feel their sharp inhale as you make contact, waiting for the release of that breath that you know is coming. And there it is, a slow exhale as they simultaneously melt under your touch.
Your heart warms as they make themselves so comfortable in your hand. They’re very clearly enjoying this, and you are too. You chuckle quietly, hoping not to disturb them too much as you speak softly to them.
“Look at you…”
As warm and happy as your tone is, you’re unable to hide a hint of bewilderment in your voice, still quite frankly, astonished that you two have made it this far from where you started. If you told yourself the first day you two met that you would end up like this, past-you would have laughed in your face. Nonetheless, here you are, and you’re not complaining at all.
As happy as you are to hold them like this, however, you feel the strain in your arm from holding it in the same position for so long. You pull your other hand away, wincing as you watch them deflate just slightly in disappointment, but you know you’ll be back at it before long.
For a moment longer, you think of the best place to sit to keep holding them like this for as long as they want you to. You then slowly lift your hand, smiling as you see that they don’t move at all, there’s no reaction to being picked up. They’re already cozy, and you know that they trust that you won’t drop them.
You make your way towards a lounge chair, making sure you keep your hand as still as possible to keep your tiny friend feeling safe to stay as they are. Approaching the chair, you slowly lower yourself down into it, bringing your hand close to you to watch them. They haven’t moved at all, and now you can ensure your arm is in as comfortable of a position as it can be for the duration of their stay in your hand, however long that may be.
Knowing now that not only are you holding them, but you now have them closer to you, relaxes you immensely. You don’t have to worry about anything as long as you’ve got them, you just need to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. Your breathing is even as you settle in, and you reach your other hand back over toward them to continue stroking them as you had been before.
You know that you’re a comforting presence for them as well, and that holding them like this gives them a feeling of security, of safety and reassurance. You will always be here if they need you for anything. Whether it’s to seek you out after a nightmare, or to simply be held and stroked exactly like this, you have no problem being that source of comfort for them.
You lean back and close your eyes, focusing on their minuscule weight in your palm, and their soft breaths on your skin indicating that they’ve dozed off. Every now and then they shift, and you feel like you can see their smile growing wider as they do.
They’re so small, but that doesn’t matter. They mean so much to you, and right now, as they doze and occasionally shift ever so slightly, you feel like you have your entire world in your hands, and you couldn’t be happier.
As someone no taller than 3.5 inches, hands are dangerous. Hands can grab, squeeze, crush, pull, or otherwise injure you so effortlessly. It’s been hard figuring out who’s hands you can trust, and who’s to stay very far away from. They’re also terrifying even without being in them. They’re imposing, threatening, chasing, all encompassing, and can be a petrifying sight when they’re headed right for you.
This hand, though, the one extended toward you, palm facing upward like a platform, is none of those things. It’s opened in an invitation, motionless and still as it rests in front of you, waiting. You trust the giant this hand belongs to with your life, showing no hesitation as you slowly climb up onto it.
Their skin is warm beneath you, a relief as it begins to seep into you the moment you make contact. Their fingers twitch ever so slightly as they feel your tiny hands on the surface of their hand, an acknowledgment of your presence, and nothing more. You make your way into the center of their palm, their hand being the only thing supporting you now.
They don’t lift you right away, however. Instead, their hand sits there and holds you as you are. You cast a curious glance upward, seeing them watch you with an enamored smile. You smile back, knowing what they’re thinking about without having to say anything. You’re so incredibly tiny in their hand, so light, so delicate and fragile, and they’re adoring seeing you just sitting there, relaxed and casual about all of this.
Given that they’re not moving, you decide to make yourself at home. Being cradled to their chest is wonderful, but sometimes just enjoying how it feels to be held like this is comforting as well. You lay yourself down, curling up in the dip of their palm and resting your head comfortably on the soft, padded section of their hand just below their fingers. You feel the expanse of warmth beneath you, snuggling in as you sigh deeply and eagerly embrace that warmth.
There’s something so special about how deeply you trust the giant watching over you, how easy of a decision it is to make yourself completely prone in their hand. If something were to happen, you’d have less reaction time to escape, but you know that would never happen. You are completely safe here.
You look up as their fingers curl in protectively, as though shielding you from all that could cause you harm. You smile and nuzzle against the soft surface you rest your head on, closing your eyes in the greatest display of trust in the giant that holds you. You feel a shift in movement, but not in the hand beneath you, and you sense a shadow approaching, yet you keep your eyes closed, knowing that they won’t hurt you.
Even still, you sharply inhale when you feel the back of a finger on their other hand brush slowly and softly over your side. You exhale slowly, letting yourself melt in their hand as they encourage you to relax further. You hear a quiet chuckle from them.
“Look at you…”
Their voice bears warmth, happiness, and a hint of bewilderment, as though they still can’t believe you trust them this much. They continue to stroke you for a moment more before pulling away. You immediately miss their touch, but it’s not long before something else happens.
You feel the motion of them finally lifting you up, and you don’t move at all. There’s no urge to hold onto them, no wariness as to where they might be moving you, no fear that they’ll drop you, and no concern about what they’ll do to you. You simply lie still as you are, letting them bring you wherever they want.
They then stand to their feet, and the motion of them walking soothes you further. It’s not long before you feel a dropping sensation as they sit down. You don’t know where they are, and you don’t really care. You’re happy here, they don’t seem interested in putting you down, and that’s all that matters.
You do, however, know that you’re closer to them, now. You can feel their presence towering over you. You know just how massive they are without opening your eyes, and it comforts you further. You hear them breathing, slow, smooth, content. If they’re stressed, you can hear it, but right now they’re just as calm and soothed as you are.
It heartens you to know that despite how small you are, how perfectly you fit in their hand, you still bring them plenty of comfort. You know that being able to keep you close like this brings them a sense of security, they know that as long as they have you, nothing will happen to you.
Once again, you feel their other hand approach, and their finger brushes against you. This time, however, their hand lingers close, and you know they’re in a position where they can keep both hands comfortable while holding you for however long you need or want.
You fall into a deep state of relaxation as time goes by, their attention never leaving you as they stroke your side much more slowly now. You don’t completely pass out, but every now and then you fall into a light doze… only to wake up a few minutes later, remember where you are, and smile as waves of warmth and comfort wash over you again.
You come home after a bad day, and your giant partner knows just what to do.
You’ve had a rough day. The general public was particularly ruthless today, and you entered your section of your shared-size house, slamming the door shut and trying not to immediately break down. You hear the telltale footfalls of your partner approaching, not sure if you have it in you to deal with them right away, but you know you can’t just ignore them, either.
“Is everything alright?” they ask, their voice slightly muffled through the walls.
You sigh, it never ceases to amaze you just how accurately they can tell how your day went just by hearing the way you open and close the door. Biting back a full meltdown, you begrudgingly climb the stairs leading up to the platform you knew they were waiting at, exiting the small doorway leading out to it and letting it close with another sigh.
You brace yourself for an eager greeting, waiting to feel their hands scoop you up before being bombarded with affection, but you feel something different. Their hands reach down, of course, but they instead gently gather you into their hands and bring you close. Just the way they hold you, already knowing that you’re going to need comfort… They don’t even have to say anything else before the floodgates open, and you break down.
You begin to incoherently rant about your day, absentmindedly beating your fists against their chest every now and then in an expression of frustration and anguish. As you continue, you begin to ramble about other incidents that didn’t just happen today, realizing that you’ve been holding this anger in for far longer than you thought.
You hear a soft sigh, feeling movement as they head toward their gliding chair, bracing you to their chest for a moment as they sit down. They begin to rock back and forth in the chair, cupping you against their chest with both hands now as you continue to vent. They say nothing in response, simply keeping you cuddled close and stroking their thumb down your back. They don’t try to hush you, or offer you sympathy, they just let you ramble and cry with no interruptions.
After a while, you begin to quiet down, your energy quickly fading away as you’re now lulled into a state of lessened aggression. You’re still mightily upset, but you curl inward now, tucking your arms in close and nestling against their chest.
They wait patiently as you begin to settle down. Your sobs diminish into quiet hiccups, then occasional sniffles. It’s then that they pull you away from their chest, carefully lifting you up with both hands. You watch them lean in close, closing your eyes before feeling a gentle kiss to the top of your head. Still rather irritated and not in the mood for this kind of affection right now, you push against their lips with both arms, feeling them back off rather easily.
It’s not long before they do it again, however, their lips softly pressing against the side of your head and upper shoulder. You let out a frustrated whine at their insistence to kiss you right then and there, shoving back against them once more and huffing as, in a rare occurrence, they ignore your wishes for them to stop.
“Shh,” they hush.
You can hear it in the way it comes out, a firm suggestion to let them do as they please. You’ve had your time to be upset, now it’s time to lighten the mood. You’re still annoyed, almost certain that they won’t be able to cheer you up, but they’re committed.
They continue to kiss you, offering a few more gentle pecks against your shoulder. You grumble at them some more, but they’re not having it. It’s then that the intensity of their affection is kicked up a notch.
Their kisses against you become more focused, forceful and deliberate as they keep their lips against you for longer at a time. They kiss you multiple times in a row, their lips brushing over more and more of your body, only pulling away a few feet each time now. You can feel gusts of their breath on you in between kisses, determination evident in their movements as they begin to overwhelm you.
They brush their lips over your face, against your neck, down your side, and then back up to the top of your head again to repeat the process. The display of affection becomes rougher as they begin to press in against you more, gentleness no longer enough to achieve their goal. You can’t even try to push back now, their strength easily outweighs yours as they press you against their hands beneath their lips, beginning to overwhelm you as they use more strength.
As their lips cover more and more of your body, you feel them slowly chipping away at your foul mood. They’re absolutely smothering you with loving affection, and you can feel your resolve beginning to break. The pressure, both physical and mental, becomes too much to try and stubbornly resist. You feel a small smile on your face, a tiny giggle escaping as their lips continue to keep their claim over you.
This only seems to embolden them, and they double down on their efforts. Their lips don’t even pull away anymore between kisses. You can feel their warm breath washing over you now, a slow exhale before they simply increase the pressure of their lips over you. There are moments when you can’t breathe, their lips so enveloping that all you can really do is lay there and experience it.
The pressure lets up, and you lose your composure. Laughter completely takes over, and you nuzzle yourself against their lips. They move as they whisper softly to you, a smile in their quiet voice.
“There’s my little one…”
You feel chills run down your spine. The whisper trails off as they increase the pressure on you, chuckling quietly against you as you accept that their attempt to cheer you up has worked wonders. You’re not even reluctant to admit it. Since you’ve returned home, they’ve known exactly what you needed. It’s a firm reminder of why you love them, and you gently chastise yourself for fighting back as long as you did.
Your giant hums against you, content with this outcome, and continues to shower you with love and care. You lean into their kisses, fall limp as their fingers begin to massage you, and press your own tiny kisses over their lips in return. The hellish day you’ve had is forgotten, left behind as you allow yourself to fully soak in their affection.
Hhh I so badly want to write my stories with actual plots and conflicts but every time I think about putting my characters into various not great situations I just feel bad and want them to cuddle instead and nothing plot related gets done 🤣
It's the 4th of July, and you don't want to spend it alone.
You can’t believe your luck over the past few days. A human had caught you, but not in the way you feared he ever would. He was simply in the right place at the right time when your worn rope finally snapped, and he had fast reflexes. You didn’t hit the ground like you thought you would, having braced from whatever injuries you’d receive from such a fall, or worse… instead, you landed on a soft, warm surface.
You then found yourself under the gaze of a human, the one who inadvertently saved you from a potentially fatal fall. His eyes were big, blue, and locked right onto you as you lay stunned in his hand, trembling as you realized what had happened. You were still alive, but you were completely at his mercy.
He stared for a few more moments before the shock wore off. He brought his other hand up to cup you in both, making sure you were secure and wouldn’t accidentally fall again. He didn’t seem angry, at least, but he was definitely curious, and you knew that could easily be far worse.
The moment he saw you crying, curling up in his hands, completely and utterly terrified, however, his expression softened, sympathy in his eyes as he watched you with concern.
“Am I scaring you?”
You nodded your head quickly, desperation for survival taking over as you began to beg for your life.
“P-please don’t hurt me, I-I’m sorry, I’ll leave, just please let me go!” you sobbed, hearing the human sigh softly.
“Whoa, hold on, I’m not gonna hurt you. It’s okay.”
You jumped when you felt a soft touch over your shoulder, hearing his voice soften as he rubs his thumb across your arm.
“Shh, take it easy, don’t-“
It was then that you blacked out, the stress being too much for your brain to handle.
When you opened your eyes next, you found yourself curled up on a folded washcloth, on the ground, near the entrance to the walls you’d been trying to get back to when you fell. Next to you was a small bundle of food, what looked like a new rope, and a note:
Hey,
I’m sorry I scared you, but I’m not sorry that I caught you, that would have been a really bad fall. Anyway, I left you some string that should be much stronger than what you were using before, and some food. If I’d known I had a borrower in my walls, I would have stocked up more, but I’ll fix that later, if you don’t leave, that is. I hope you don’t, but I also understand if you do. Take care of yourself out there.
-Raymond
You found yourself in shock as you read the note. How did he know what you’re called? How did he know that you have to leave now? Why did he let you go? You find yourself still pondering these questions now several days later, but you haven’t left just yet. You can’t afford to now, not at this time of the year.
You know what’s coming up, and you hate it with an undying passion. The 4th of July is today, and the weather has been wonderful, which is good, not too hot, but it also means plenty of fireworks later tonight.
You don’t understand what their fascination with giant explosions is, but it doesn’t matter, because they are terrifying. You know that all you can really afford to do is hunker down in your small home, hope nothing gets blown up, and just ride it out. Unless…
You know this is a stupid idea, it goes against everything you’ve been taught as a borrower, but you don’t know if you can handle another year alone, scared, stuck in your home while the fireworks are at their worst.
Raymond hasn’t done anything to try and meet you again, and you can’t scrub the memory of his look of sympathy from your brain. His gentle touch, while contributing to you having passed out, it reminded you of childhood, of how your parents would soothe you when there were fireworks or thunderstorms. You can’t believe you’re doing this, but given that he’d let you go, has since been much better at leaving things that are easy for you to take, and has ignored you even if he had a perfect chance to catch another glimpse of you… it’s obvious that he cares about your well-being.
You sigh to yourself as you peek out of the kitchen entrance, watching carefully for any signs of Raymond wandering around. When you see him, your heart sinks. He’s clearly getting ready to go enjoy the fireworks himself, and you feel a rush of anxiety at the thought of being completely alone here.
Just before he puts his hand on the front doorknob, you shout out his name.
“R-Raymond, wait!”
He pauses immediately, turning to look in the direction your voice came from. You stiffen as he spots you, puts his bags on the ground, and immediately makes his way over to you.
“Hey, is everything alright?”
You adamantly shake your head, trying not to panic or bail.
“Okay, well I’m about to head out to see the fireworks show with my friends, do you need anything before I go?”
You look down, wondering briefly if this is fair to him, but before you can say anything else, a firework is shot up, and explodes less than a mile away. You cry out and hide back through the entrance into the walls.
“Oh shit,” he murmurs softly.
You hear him take a few steps away, peeking out from the entrance to see him holding his phone up to his ear.
“Hey! I’m sorry, but I’m not gonna make it tonight. Yeah, something just came up. Everything’s okay, I just need to stay home tonight. Make sure to get lots of video for me. Okay, thanks, have fun, bye!”
You watch him lower his phone back down, tap the screen, and put it back in his pocket before looking back in your direction. Did he just… cancel his plans on his own? You didn’t even have to plead for him to stay?
He slowly heads back over to you, leaning on the counter as he regards you with a soft gaze.
“It’s okay, I’m not going anywhere tonight. I didn’t realize the fireworks would be scaring you like this.”
You take a tentative step out toward him, trembling and doing everything you can to hold it together. It doesn’t work, however. The fireworks are becoming more frequent, and you’re cowering on the countertop before long. Raymond sighs quietly to himself, watching you patiently.
“What can I do to help?”
You gaze back up at him, crying out as another explodes close by. You can hear a car alarm going off in response to the proximity, and it’s all too much. You whimper as you panic, but his soft voice cuts through the anxiety briefly.
“Okay, come here, it’s alright…”
You jump as you feel his fingers brushing against you, hearing him gently shush you as he wraps them around you so much more delicately than you’d have thought possible for a being of his size. You feel his warmth around you, your brain struggling to prioritize between being scared of the fireworks, or of being in his hands. You’re able to shake it off, however, the moment he holds you close to his chest, tucking you against him and holding you with both hands.
You’re immediately enveloped in warmth and pressure around you, the smooth sway of his footsteps distracting you briefly from the building chaos outside. He slowly sinks himself into the couch, and you feel yourself slumping into his chest as he leans back and cradles you close.
“It’s okay, I’ve got you, everything will be just fine,” he promises, his thumb rubbing up and down your back as you cling tightly to his shirt.
You never expected to have any sort of comfort on the night of the 4th, much less from a human, but here you are, putting your trust into a being so much bigger than you for reassurance and physical comfort. He doesn’t seem to have a problem with it, either. He keeps himself calm, his presence soothing as he just sits and holds you to himself.
“You’re still shaking… How did you deal with this before?”
You shake your head and cling tighter to him, fiercely holding on to the sense of security he’s providing you. Despite trying to hold it in, a quiet sob escapes, and you hear a soft hum from him. He holds you closer, his voice gentle and concerned.
“Were you just… terrified in the walls by yourself?”
You slowly nod your head. He immediately gives you a gentle squeeze, the warmest hug you’ve ever experienced. You get the feeling that he just wants to hold and protect you. On any other day you might have balked at the idea, but right now, this is exactly what you need.
“You don’t have to be alone anymore. I promise, if you ever get scared, you can always come find me, and I can hold you just like this.”
He pulls you away just enough to brush your tears away with his thumb.
You don’t know that you’ll be here long enough to consider his offer, but it’s certainly a nice thought, not having to be afraid again. He shifts the way he’s holding you to cradle you closer once more. For now, you’re here, you’re safe in his hands, and you feel… okay. You’re still extremely jumpy and terrified by the loud explosions, but Raymond’s kindness makes it a little easier to bear.
They go on for hours, occasionally setting off car alarms and vibrating the walls and floor slightly. By the time the fireworks finally die down, your eyes are red, puffy, and irritated. Raymond’s patience has proven to be strong, however, and he’s made sure you feel as safe and comfortable as you could possibly be in this situation.
He managed to distract you occasionally as he recounted stories. Some were from his childhood, others were of him and his friends performing… questionable stunts, many of which made you laugh a little through the tears, and you’ve realized that you actually like being around Raymond. You don’t mind the fact that he’s held you all night, kept you entertained, and comforted you whenever you’d start to panic again.
The night has left you exhausted, but after being in the safety of his hands for so long, and with the occasional fireworks still being set off, you’re not eager to leave him. You yawn quietly, snuggling up against Raymond’s shirt as you close your eyes. You hear him chuckle, followed by the quietest ‘aww’ coming from him as he keeps you snuggled close to himself. Any other day that might have set you off, a human cooing over you like this, but not tonight… weirdly enough, you feel like he’s earned it, especially if it feels as genuine as it does.
“Are you getting a bit sleepy?” He asks softly, and you nod your head.
“Do you want me to bring you back to where your home is, or do you want to come to bed with me?”
It’s not even a question for you. At this point, you know you can trust him. You know the fireworks will continue late into the night, and you’re not ready to feel the absence of his company and comfort.
“Can I come with you?”
“Of course you can.”
For the rest of the night, you’re bundled up on his chest as he keeps you close. You feel his heartbeat beneath you, letting it lull you to sleep when sheer exhaustion finally takes you. You’re startled awake by fireworks every now and then, but feeling his hands gently pressing you to him calms you, and you find yourself falling asleep again within minutes.
