hard cider was invented when someone decided to make beer that tastes good instead of bad

A big Good Luck out there to people who are going to get unfairly punished because they live or work with with right-wing abusers or conspiracy theorists. Teens and Children especially. Be careful and watch what you say, and don't let your parents take their distress out on you. Your number one priority is to keep yourself safe.
what companies who sell you anti aging stuff don't want you to know is that if you're chill about aging, your perception of attractiveness changes as you get older. there is no "wall" where you suddenly become ugly and unfuckable because in my experience what actually happens is you get into your thirties and suddenly realize that people in their thirties are hot as fuck and the "flaws" that the beauty industry wants you to panic about are a feature not a bug, and based on the std statistics in nursing homes I don't really expect that trajectory to change.

when noah kahan said "i hope this pain's just passing through" and "someday i'm gonna be somebody people want" and when he said "i'm still angry at my parents for what their parents did to them" and "i'm in the business of losing your interest and i turn a profit each time that we speak" and "i'm terrified that i might never have met me" and "i saw the end it looked just like the middle" and when he said "now the pain's different it still exists it just escapes different"
"I would kill for you. I would die for you" would you take a break for me? Would you sit down and rest? For a day, a week, a year? Would you let others take care of your needs for me? Would you let yourself be held for me? By me?
scared someone will see right through me and know one of my deepest desires is to be taken care of
i am not my mother and i am not my father but a third worse thing

It's fascinating how fatphobes' brains kind of stop at "people shouldn't be fat" or "fat people should lose weight". Like if it's tough to fit into airplane seats, or find clothes, or get a doctor to take you seriously - their solution is weight loss. As if anything and everything can wait until you've become skinny.
I mean even if we play along and pretend that long-term weight loss IS achievable for everyone and not just a small minority - that takes time? Even the handful of fat people who will be skinny in five years are still fat now, and they'll be fat tomorrow too. They will be here on earth for the duration of those five years, living and partaking in society.
It just baffles me that some people will always be like "I just don't think anyone should be/stay fat" and that's the end of their argument. Like.. ok bro. Fat people are still here though, regardless. I'm gonna keep needing clothes to wear.
That’s the thing- fatphobes believe fat people SHOULDN’T be allowed to partake in society. Once you play out a fatphobe’s logic like this, it becomes abundantly clear that they want nothing less than the complete erasure of fat people from public life. Even if a fat person is a “good fatty” actively working on making their body smaller, they’re not allowed to participate fully in society until they’re no longer fat.
The inaccessibility is intentional. The cruelty towards fat people is as intentional as it is irrational. Fatphobes won’t stop until they eradicate fat people completely, either materially (through dangerous dieting, weight loss surgeries, and early death) or socially (through making public life so hostile to fat people that we can’t engage in it at all, so they can pretend we don’t exist even if we still do).
This is what we mean when we say fatphobia is systemic.
