LeFou Beauty and the Beast Side Character Lackey of Gaston's

LeFou is clumsy, loyal to the right cause, and free thinking.

Everyone has heard my story. I am the only true friend of Gaston. I am by his side because I choose to be. I've watched him grow and become the person he is today. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I've watched him go after everything he's wanted. I've helped him with his adventures.

But do you know what happens when the story ends? When we return to the island and wait for our story to be told again? No… Well you are in for a treat.

Once we returned to the island things were going Gaston's way. I wasn't sure exactly if I was aligned with the way the villains were running things. I've been playing both sides of the fence. Keeping the Villains happy by doing their bidding. Keeping the Heroes and Heroines happy by feeding them information. I'm still trying to find my place and where my loyalties really lie.

Belle: LeFou is meant to watch Belle in secret but he doesn’t do a good job at it. She always knows he is there and she tolerates it because she does not want him going back to Gaston telling him that she’s doing things that would harm her father and for all she knows Prince Adam. There are times she will interact with him intentionally so she knows he’s not doing a good job at sneaking around.

Beast: In the story he’s with the villain. On the Island it’s a change. While Belle thinks he is tasked with watching her for Gaston it’s really Beast. LeFou does not agree with the changes that are happening on the island. He’s agreed to keep an eye on Belle until Beast can get out but he cannot help the heroes or risk death by the villains. Beast cannot live with the thought that he would bring on someone’s death and agrees that it is safer for him to just watch Belle. While LeFou seems genuine that he does not approve of the changes Beast is still careful of him.

Gaston: Gaston and Lefou get along well for the most part. However, Gaston is starting to question Lefou’s intentions. He feels that his sidekick is not with the rest of the villains and their plans. He’ll do what he needs to in order to keep order even if it means eventually locking his own lackey away from the rest of The Island.

Maurice: Lefou is often feeding Maurice information about the outside world when he brings meals down for the heroes. Every once in awhile the information that Lefou feeds Maurice is not correct and it brings down Gaston's wrath upon Maurice or any of the other heroes who use it.

Lumiere: LeFou has not yet told him that Mrs. Potts suffered being shattered as her teapot form. He's helped keep Lumiere hidden to the best of his ability. He told Lumiere that if Gaston asked he did not know that he was in the cell with the Beast. He was trying to protect more people.

Cogsworth: LeFou has only had interaction with Cogsworth within the story. He's been trying to find out where he is on The Island but Cogsworth is being stubborn and not sharing that information with LeFou. Cogsworth does not know where his loyatlies lay and for Cogsworth that's a big deal.

Mrs. Potts: He wishes he could have saved her on The Island. He was there when Gaston shattered her in her tea pot form. He only interacts with her in the story but even in the story she understands that he didn't mean for what happened to her to happen. He had been trying to save them before Gaston could get to them but he was to late.

Maurice Beauty and the Beast NPC Inventor Currently Missing/Kidnapped by Gaston

Maurice is a sweet and caring father who has done everything he can for his only child. He left his wife when she became sick at her request to save their daughter.

Everyone has heard my story. I fathered a daughter named Belle. Strong. Independent. Open-Minded. All things that our small village does not approve of. Things that they want to stomp out of my daughter. I went off to the fair and got lost. I wandered the woods and found a castle. I went inside and find the most enchanting items and a Beast. A horrible monstrous beast. My daughter found me and traded places with me. Not what I wanted but she's stubborn. I was sent back to the village and Gaston found me and tried to help me find Belle. He was outraged that I would not agree to him marrying my daughter. He left me for dead in the woods but I came back. He had me locked away and my daughter came to the rescue. I approved of her choice in Prince Adam. She loves him and that is all that matters to a father.

But do you know what happens when the story ends? When we return to the island and wait for our story to be told again? No… Well you are in for a treat.

Once we returned to the island Gaston came to me telling me that things were wrong with Belle and Adam. I did not want to believe him but he had a story to tell. Woven perfectly to make me believe anything he told me. My daughter, my only child, was in danger. Things with her and Adam had apparently gotten bad and he had turned back into a beast chasing my daughter through their property. A lovely tale to tell when he was aiming to get what he wanted. Half way to my daughter's home he knocked me out cold. I woke up in a prison cell with no way out. Adam, Lumiere, and other heroes my only company while we try to find a way out to save those that we love the most.

Connections:

Belle: Her father and best friend. She misses her father dearly and she knows that Gaston has him hidden away from her. She needs to know he’s safe and so she does everything asked of her in the hopes that eventually Gaston will at least let her see him even if for just a short time.

Beast: Beast does not have the beast history with Maurice. First he threw him in the dungeon. Second he ended up keeping his daughter. Not exactly the best history to have with Belle’s father. The two of them however, have been keeping themselves entertained together in the prison that Gaston has them in.

Gaston: Gaston knows that Belle would do anything for Belle. Include be his to keep her father safe. Once the story was over Gaston made his way to Maurice’s home and told him something horrible had happened to Belle and Prince Adam and that LeFou was taking them to get help. Instead Gaston got halfway to Belle and Adam’s house and knocked him out cold making sure when he woke up that he would wake in a prison cell.

Lefou: Lefou is often feeding Maurice information about the outside world when he brings meals down for the heroes. Every once in awhile the information that Lefou feeds Maurice is not correct and it brings down Gaston's wrath upon Maurice or any of the other heroes who use it.

Lumiere: Maurice thinks of Lumiere as a friend. Even if he's currently an enchanted object due to unforeseen circumstances. Maurice shares his intel that he gets from LeFou with Lumiere so that way when their story is restarted LeFou and Cogsworth can share information.

Cogsworth: Maurice and Cogsworth do not have a great relationship. He and Cogsworth only get along when they have to. As an inventor Maurice was trying to figure out what made Cogsworth tick not realizing that he had once been a person instead of an enchanted object.

Mrs. Potts: Mrs. Potts and Maurice had become smitten with one another. Both lost their significant others and they took comfort in one another. Maurice does not know the fate that Mrs. Potts suffered as a tea pot once she came back to The Island.

Gaston Beauty and the Beast Villain Hunting Tavern - Owner

Gaston is brash, demanding, and willing to do whatever it takes (kidnapping included) to get what he wants or who he wants. He refuses to take no for an answer.

Everyone has heard my story. I wanted the girl that no one else wanted. I wanted her so badly that he proposed and she turned me down. The audacity of her to say no. I was angered deeply when she disappeared. Only to find out that she took her father's place as prisoner. I had planned to rescue her but as luck would have it she cared a great deal for her father and came back to save him. When I discovered she had fallen for another I had her locked up as well and went to kill the beast. That did not work out in my favor though.

But do you know what happens when the story ends? When we return to the island and wait for our story to be told again? No... Well you are in for a treat.

Once we returned to the island things were going my way. Adam and Maurice are out of the way hidden away from the world. From Belle. She's agreed to my terms and in return as long as she does what I ask her father and Adam are safe. I have not confirmed her thought that I have Adam because if it gets out that I have one prince its bound to get out that I also have the others that we managed to capture when we took over the island. Ariel works in my tavern singing as a favor to Ursula and Belle works in the Library so she does not hate me which was suggested by Maleficent.

Connections:

Maleficent: The evil fairy that Gaston went to aiming to get help to capture Belle. Maleficent gave him the idea to let Belle work in the library so that way she would not resent him completely. He allows Belle to work in the library and Maleficent helps keep tabs on the beauty.

Ursula: He makes a deal with the sea witch to keep Ariel working in the Tavern as a singer. The two have been working hand in hand to keep their heroines in the dark about the heroes from their stories. Ursula also entrusted Gaston with the task of hiding away

Ariel: Gaston has hired Ariel on to sing in his tavern at the request of Ursula. He is happy to accommodate the red-haired songstress as long as needed.

Belle: He’s the one keeping her prisoner. She is sure he has something to do with both her father and Adam’s disappearance but she can’t prove it. She has to do whatever he ask in order to keep them safe. Can she do everything he ask? Gaston runs a tavern and keeps Belle there when she’s not working at the Library. He gives her just enough freedom to keep her under his thumb where he wants her. He keeps hoping she’ll change her mind and be his but the more he pushes the more she put distance between them.

Beast: The beast doesn’t know how he did it but the moment they came back from their story it wasn’t his home with Belle that he returned to. It was a dark room and with out his greatest friend with him, but his greatest friend was still in the form of a candlestick holder. He is determined to break out of his prison and prove that Gaston is behind it but for now he’s trapped and he and the other stuck in this hole with him are plotting a way out. Gaston plotted with one of the great witches/fairies in the villain world to make his plan to have Belle his. With her help Belle is his and he's got Beast trapped with some of the other heroes.

No one thought to check for one of the enchanted items. However, the more that Gaston tries to get him the more he realizes that maybe leaving the candle stick holder is not so bad.

Cogsworth: Gaston has been looking for this clock and been unable to find him. The clock is not with Adam and it wasn't with the teapot when the teapot came back and was immediately shattered. He tries to find the clock in the story to also figure out where the clock is when it goes back to The Island. He's starting to suspect Belle knows where the clock is.

Mrs. Potts: Gaston is the one who got to Mrs. Potts the moment she came back to The Island. He immediately picked her up and in one fluid movement smashed her on the ground. He's not sad about what he did in fact he plans the same for the clock and also melting down the candlestick if he can ever get the thing away from Adam.

Prince Adam (Beast) Beauty and the Beast Hero Currently Missing/Kidnapped by Gaston

Prince Adam is protective, kind, and generous to those around him. He seems such a beast at times but that's from the curse given to him during the story that he plays out.

Everyone has heard my story. Belle's father went to the fair. He got lost and somehow managed to end up in my castle. My servants and greatest confidents welcomed him against my wishes to remain alone due to my curse. It was unexpected when Belle came to his rescue. She offered to take his place. My servants claimed she would be the one to break the enchantment upon us. I did not believe them but they were right. She fell in love with me and told me she loved me which broke the curse.

But do you know what happens when the story ends? When we return to the island and wait for our story to be told again? No... Well you are in for a treat.

Once we return to the island... I'm taken from my love and hidden away from her by Gaston. The only time I'm able to see her is when our story is told again. How I beg for those times to hurry. I'm kept captive in order to keep her in line. To keep her exactly how he likes her. A prisoner. My only friends are the other heroes that were unable to escape before the Villains took over the island.

Connections:

Gaston: He doesn’t know how he did it but the moment they came back from their story it wasn’t his home with Belle that he returned to. He does not know where Cogsworth is but since the two of them have a bit of time together in the story and he at least knows that Belle truely is okay and that Belle has him where ever it is that she has hidden him away.

Mrs. Potts: The beast does not know what happened to Mrs. Potts when they returned to The Island. He only has interaction with her during their story and because she has been shattered on The Island she does not know what is going on there.

Requirements

Be respectful of your fellow writers. We are here to have fun and escape the real world. These moments are meant to be fun. There will be no bullying here.

Activity is a must obviously but as lives are a thing we all have there are no activity checks. No required stream activity. There will be a group page that you will be given a link to upon acceptance. We will do group roleplay there. If you wish to do 1x1 that is up to you and acceptable. Feel free to add it into the group that we will be using if you wish.

How will you be determined active in the group? Well the group roleplay will help determine that. Each month I will look at how recently a post was done by your character. If it has been 4+ weeks then you will be removed and your character reopened.

As there are quite a bit of characters more than one character is allowed up to a maximum of 2. If you wish to disclose that you are more than one character that is your choice. You will not be outed as another character if you wish not to be.

We are constantly adding characters so if you think of a connection that you want to add to a character don’t hesitate to reach out we will always add more connections to the characters. Also as we add characters we will constantly be adding more connections to characters that are already set.

We are adding characters from Walt Disney, Pixar, Hans Christian Anderson, The Brother’s Grimm. Sometimes we will have Grimm Fairy Tales and Hans Christian Anderson Fairy Tales with names that came from Walt Disney/Pixar so that characters have names.

Belle Beauty and the Beast Heroine Grimm Library - Head Librarian

Belle is out spoken, courageous and determined to do what she needs to for those she loves even if it means that she’s trapped.

Everyone has heard my story. My father went off to the fair and got lost. He was taken prisoner and I took his place. What no one expected... myself included was that I fell in love with a beast who had an enchantment upon him. Love is a funny thing you know.

But do you know what happens when the story ends? When we return to the island and wait for our story to be told again? No... Well you are in for a treat.

Once we return to the island... Things are not so happily ever after. Gaston’s alive and well. Prince Adam? I cannot find him. My father? Gaston’s kidnapped him and hidden him away as well. How do I keep him safe? I’m once again a prisoner. I belong to Gaston in order to keep my father safe and I assume my prince as well. When I’m not working at the Library, owned by the evil fairy Maleficent, which is my one great pleasure while trapped I’m working at Gaston’s tavern. You didn’t think he’d let me out of his sight that easily. The days he goes hunting are some of my greatest days. Out in the market place where I catch up with some of my greatest friends.

Connections: 

Gaston: He’s the one keeping me prisoner. I’m sure he has something to do with both my father and Adam’s disappearance but I can’t prove it. I have to do whatever he ask in order to keep them safe. Maleficent: Her boss at Grimm Library. Maleficent while a great evil seems to have taken a liking to the girl. She lets her read for hours after her shift so she doesn’t have to go to the tavern and lies to Gaston for her. However, Maleficent hasn’t turned over that much of a leaf because while she knows where her father and Adam are she refuses to tell the girl.

LeFou: LeFou is meant to watch Belle in secret but he doesn’t do a good job at it. She always knows he is there and she tolerates it because she does not want him going back to Gaston telling him that she’s doing things that would harm her father and for all she knows Prince Adam. There are times she will interact with him intentionally so she knows he’s not doing a good job at sneaking around.

Cogsworth: After watching the villains shatter Mrs. Potts when they took over Belle could not stand the thought of anything happening to Cogsworth. The only other enchanted item that she was able to find when the story sent them back. They never did understand why they did not return as their human form but they have been putting the pieces together thinking that while they were in their story and the villains took over a spell was cast that anyone who was enchanted in the story would remain that way on the island. Belle has him hidden in the library that she works at and when she can slip away unseen she visits with him.

Mrs. Potts: Mrs. Potts is one of Prince Adam’s head of household members but for the kitchen. Belle turns to Mrs. Potts when they are in their story because when they return to the island she’s just a shattered piece of pottery that she’s been trying to put back together.

Lumiere: Belle has no idea where Lumiere is. She just hopes he is okay. She interacts with him within their story and between the pages when they are not the main focus of the story. She’s tried to figure out where he is but he cannot tell her much. Every time she gets close to figuring it out the story ends and she’s back to where she started.
