I hope you don’t change to be wanted or known, To be giving the type of bare minimum that you deserve to be shown. That you keep your emotions honest and you heart only visible to those who may see,

May you love the way you were meant to, before life taught you a different hand. Before love became a game that you’re sure you don’t understand. That you may give to not be taken for granted, that you may speak to finally be heard. That one day you smile to yourself at how beautifully it all occurred.

You keep your confidence and head up and hope in what is right. I hope your dreams come true without you having to go to sleep tonight. That the trash takes itself out, that God may intercede, that you find the type of reciprocation that you know deep down you need. To let the guard down, the armor the pillow hit your head. I hope you find someone you can sleep next to and if you still must replay what he said, may it be “you’re beautiful, you’re witty, you’re charming. The kind of connection you meet on the street one day and realize you must be going in the right direction because to meet someone so wonderful has to be pre planned may you try to wipe your tears and instead be met with somebody else loving hand quickening their evaporation their elimination from your mind. I hope you meet the love that everyone is so sure you will never find. Well not everyone my hope is on you, because if love finds one of us there’s hope it will find the rest of us too
