Neil being a demisexual and how obvious it is by how he uses simple terms when meeting people like just saying their hair and eye color. He doesn't even bother describing people he doesn't find important. Meanwhile the difference between meeting Andrew for the first time vs him having fallen in love with him has Neil waxing poetry about Andrew and it's so funny. Miser i don't swing was down bad by the second book.

First time meeting Andrew: "Andrew Minyard didn't look like much in person, blonde and five feet even."

After falling in love with Andrew: "Andrew looked as he always had, and Neil knew his face as well as he knew every iteration of his own. Despite that, something seemed different. Maybe it was the sunlight streaming through the window, making Andrew’s pale hair shine brighter and his hazel eyes seem almost gold. Whatever it was, it was disorienting. A wordless question buzzed under Neil’s skin, leaving him restless and out-of-sorts."

To me the aftg books are so funny because of this. Like its the weirdest piece of written text ever at first. There are things that dont make any sense. You dont understand how you ended up actually reading it and its all lowkey just bullshit, but at the same time its the best thing you ever read and now youre stuck on tumblr because you need to have your daily dose of aftg injected to your veins.

And stuff like this makes it even better, like the narrators (both Neil and Jean) are amazing and Nora is actually so smart for thinking of things like this i cant explain how much i love it

Short of being inside Nora’s head here is a (mostly) (I think) biblically accurate and to scale model of the Foxhole Court and Nora I have a several questions.

I really wanna expand this and add the ticket both/ food stalls as well as all the behind the scenes areas like the locker room, foyer, foxes lounge, ect. I’ve been slowly mapping out where everything is so shout out to Neil for being overly anxious and needing to map out the layout and exits of every room he walks into.

I did not see much of the new ghoulette because of where I was sitting - in that vein I like the name Haze because I’m going to pretend she’s a sneaky misty spirit

One of Papa’s outfits was a Cardi-esque cassock with a SPINE TAIL
