— Celeste is a very observant person, so it doesn’t take long for her to notice that you’re struggling
— the first thing she picks up on is your eating habits. constantly counting calories, eating the tiniest portions possible, sometimes skipping meals altogether...
— after discovering those habits, it doesn’t take long for her to notice all the signs indicating something more is going on, too
— even on hot days you wear clothes that cover up your arms and legs, you start keeping to yourself a bit more, sometimes even vanishing into your shared bathroom for long periods of time
— though she’s worried, Celeste doesn’t voice her concerns right away
— a small part of her wants to hope that it’a nothing, and that she’s just being silly. someone as perfect and beautiful as you couldn’t possibly be having such a hard time, right? the mere notion of that almost seemed insane to her
— but she couldn't ignore it forever
— one evening, after dinner, she approaches you, keeping her demeanor calm and collected, not wanting to make it too obvious that she’s terribly worried about you
— "(s/o), dear, i couldn’t help but notice you hardly touched your dinner... are you feeling alright?" she inquired
— you tried to come up with an excuse that wouldn’t bring up any further questions, but Celeste saw right through you
— "darling, i can’t help but notice that you rarely eat anything at all these days. are you sure you’re okay?"
— it was clear that you’d have no choice but to explain yourself to her, though you couldn’t help but feel upset with yourself for not hiding it all better
— regardless, you tell her everything, unable to stop tears from pouring out of your eyes as you do
— Celeste simply listens, her calm expression unwavering, though it breaks her heart to know just how badly you’ve been feeling about yourself
— when you’re finished explaining everything to her, she leads you over to the couch and pulls you onto her lap, holding you close, letting you cry into her shoulder
— though she typically prefers to be on the receiving end in terms of affection, she makes an effort to shower you in all the love she possibly can because she knows that you need her now more than ever
— when your tears eventually dry up, and you find yourself more at ease, Celeste looks you in the eyes, subtle signs of sadness etched across her face as she tucks a loose strand of your hair behind your ear

— eventually, you fall asleep in her arms, having worn yourself out after airing all of your struggles and insecurities to her
— not long after you open up about everything, Celeste makes you promise to come to her for help whenever you need her, no matter how small the problem at hand may be
— she takes it upon herself to make sure you eat enough food at meals, and even encourages you to have snacks sometimes
— if you wanted her to, she’d be more than happy to help you build up your confidence, whether it be through buying you new clothes that make you feel good about yourself, or helping you find pieces of yourself that you’re proud of
— above all, she just wants you to feel comfortable in your own skin
— though you may not like it at first, she’ll also routinely make sure you don’t have anything you could use to hurt yourself in your possession. she merely wants to make sure you’re safe
— she loves when you pamper her and treat her like a princess, but Celeste tries to make an effort to offer you the same treatment, particularly when she notices you’re feeling especially down
— of course, she continues to shower you with compliments in an effort to remind you how spectacular you are
