Anika was just an average, ordinary girl. She shows up to a volleyball game supporting a dear friend. But she never expected she’d see a face of her past, a face she never wanted to see again. But life’s funny like that. And what’s crueler than a fate that continues pushing her to meet the one person who knew her deeper than anyone else and is nothing more than a stranger now.
Atsumu Miya had the life he always wanted. A life he grind for and chased after. His dreams made reality through all his efforts. The kind of life where he made a decision and never looked back to see what he’d left behind. Because he didn’t live his life in the past but here in the present. Though maybe it shouldn’t be called the present because from where he was standing, this was hell.
So here’s to all the heartbreak, unresolved conversations, and maybe just maybe something more because seeing you again might just be the most wonderful thing to exist in this world.

Volume 9 PDF updated 2/3/2025:
Volume 9 updated and completed
Note: From this point onwards I don't think I'll be able to keep up with the updates. I barely read it anymore, a lot of years have passed and I have more pressing matters to attend IRL so these PDFs will only work as a quality of life for those that want PDF reading but are not desperate to read the updates as soon a translator picks them up. Sorry for the inconvenience.
It's all about the sauce:
The chapters translations are made by OtherSideofSky and Comun. You can read the original raw text submitted by the translator in The Beast Lair along with epub versions.
About the Manga:
You should also read the manga. It has a sharp and beautiful art style (by Morii) and complements the story already being told in the LN.
Credits to:
Thanks to Nakula for translating the initial version (2008) of F/SF Vol 1, and Mew and Food for the extra chapters to complete the final Volume 1. Thanks to OtherSideofSky for translating the Volumes 2 to 6 and Comun for Volume 7 onwards. And thanks to Ryohgo Narita for writing Strange Fake!
I suggest following me on Twitter if you so desire getting updates when I... update... these PDFs. It's also a better way of communicating with me in case it's necessary since this post is a revision of the original I made back then in 2017 but the Tumblr account was breached and deleted the pinned post (this one) so... yeah, there's that.
@ZeroDestreza on Twitter (I’m not calling it “X”, that’s dum dum)
To say the game ended in disappointment wouldn’t have been a lie. Anika knew that Hoshi did all the right things and in a game filled with monster players, well you’d definitely win some and lose some.
So a part of her didn’t want to end this night feeling bad for her best friend and there was definitely no way they would end the night sober.
That only meant one thing, they were going to drink- a lot.
Anika looked over to Faye, “So should we call Sachi and Gao?”
“Way ahead of you! My brother said he’s gonna try to make it but Sachi hasn’t read the chat yet.”
Seriously this guy would fall off the grid and be the only one to survive an apocalypse.
“What are the chances Rai invites that cute setter?” Faye asked flipping her hair off her shoulder.
Anika shrugged her shoulders, “Well, we might be in some luck those pro players might want to drink after that crazy match”
Crazy.
What an understatement.
Anika felt her stomach start to turn as she recalled the endless fan merch that lined the court. How could this be the place she would see him again? After all those years. After running so far away from her hopeless high school romance and her first real heartbreak.
She sweared if she ever saw the number 13, she might lose her ever loving mind.
“Hey there’s Rai!” Faye shouted waving her arms in the air to flag down their friend.
Anika looked over to see him talking with an orange haired man who had a bright smile on his face. Her nose scrunched as she realized he was from the same team as him.
Hoshiumi finished his conversation and came running over.
“Who’s that?” Faye asked once Hoshiumi caught his breath after a brief jog their way.
Hoshiumi squinted his eyes, “Not your type.”
Faye glared at him in return, “Gosh Rai, I don’t want to eat all your teammates and competitors”.
Anika started to laugh in response to her claim. She was boy crazy but that didn’t mean she would just get with anyone.
“Good then. That’s Hinata, he and a few of the jackals might meet us at Hive”.
Anika’s smile turned down into a frown when she heard that, “Oh?”
Hoshiumi looked at her with a confused brow, “Yeah that big owl looking guy- Bokuto, overheard and invited himself and a few other guys”.
Anika’s heart began to beat faster, threatening to jump out of her chest.
Would he be there then? Sitting through an entire game was one thing but actually having to socialize beside him?
Could she even do that?
“-ika” she felt someone touch her shoulder. Anika turned to meet the concerned eyes of her best friend. She nodded in agreement as Faye continued what she was saying, “Rai’s going to stop by his place, change, then we’ll head out”.
Anika looked back to the friend who had just suffered a loss.
“Right, this night is about Rai. It doesn’t matter who else shows up; you’re there to help cheer him up!” She thought to herself as she reached over and pulled Hoshiumi into a half hug, she felt him tense up as he looked at her with suspecting eyes.
“Yo, you good Ani?” He asked as she looked back at him and shot him a bright smile.
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?”
He shrugged still looking at her with slight concern.
“I’m fine you worrywart”.
That turned his concerned eyes into a glare.
“Sheesh, swear everytime I’m a bit nice”. He grumbled as Anika laughed in response and linked her arms in one of his as well as Faye’s.
“Enough talking! Let’s party!” She shouted as she pulled them towards the car.
Besides it’s not like she’d actually see him, Hive was a popular and busy club, she doubted she would see him.
- - -
Anika and Faye may have had one drink too many at least that’s what she thought as she looked over to Korai and saw lovely pink lights around him.
“Rai Rai! Have I ever told you how lucky I am to have a friend like you?” Anika said turning around quickly her eyes shooting up to find his.
Hoshiumi gave her a small smile, he often wondered how she was able to see anything being in a friend group with everyone practically towering over her, him included; which said a lot.
“Oh here she goes, she’s going to confess her undying love”. Faye began to laugh as she put an arm around Anika’s shoulder practically wrapping her up like a present.
“What! I just happen to have the best friends in the world! Like Faye is a literal heartthrob that anyone and everyone would love! She’s got legs that go on miles and she is so kind! And Rai! Rai acts like he’s a tough guy but honestly he’s the sweetest like a care bear!” Anika said her cheeks red from all the energetic dancing and alcohol she had.
“And Gao! Gao is a walking tower! He never gets tired even when he’s carrying me! And Sachi! Sachi…” she started as both Hoshiumi and Faye looked over to see her face soften and her bright smile turn into a soft one.
“What about Hirugami, Anika?” Hoshiumi said in a teasing tone as Anika looked up to him once again.
“Sachi, is the very best”. She said softly gaining soft smiles from both her friends as Faye pulled her a bit tighter in the hug and Hoshiumi gently patted her head.
“Hey Hoshiumi!” The three heard a loud voice shout out to them as they all turned to see the orange haired man from earlier waving them down, beside him was a tall white haired man who resembled an owl.
Whooo whooo
Anika swore she could hear owls around her as she began to look up at the shining pink lights above them.
She felt she was missing something. That guy looked familiar, where had she seen him?
After a few seconds, memories came washing over as Anika remembered the match. He was one of Korai’s opponents.
Yeah the jackals, he’s one of them.
She thought to herself.
The thought turned sour as she remembered the blonde hair that shone so brightly under the stadium lights.
Ugh, go away.
She began to swat the thought away by literally putting her hand up and hitting the air above her head.
“These are my friends Faye and Anika”. Hoshiumi stared as Faye nudged Anika to look back at the new people in front of them.
Anika finally looked back down as she was greeted with the bright smile from what she thought was the sun, “Hinata, nice to meet you!” He said putting his hand out for her to shake.
Anika reached out to meet his hand as Faye was greeted by the owl looking man, “I’m Bokuto Koutarou! Best ace there is”.
His fresh personality and Hinata’s kind demeanor was like a breath of fresh air.
“Just you two then?” Hoshiumi asked as Hinata shook his head ‘no’.
“Omi is a definite no but -“ Hinata started to explain but was momentarily distracted by a rather large stranger towering behind one of Hoshiumi’s lady friends.
Hinata stepped forward, “Excuse me sir, my friend would like some space”. He said as Anika whipped her head around and met the glare the stranger was shooting at her and Hinata.
Hinata looked over to Hoshiumi’s friend who was greeting him with a bright smile. The kind of smile you couldn’t help but return.
“Thank you so much! I swear I’d be the first to die in a scary movie!”
Hinata chuckled in response as he looked over to the other lady beside her who seemed to be sizing him up.
“Oh this is our song let’s go Faye!” She stated as she linked hands with the blue haired lady and pulled her back onto the dance floor.
“So what were you saying?” Hoshiumi continued finishing the conversation he was in with Bokuto.
“Oh yeah, Atsumu is also coming”. Hinata replied looking over to Hoshiumi, “He was going to head over with us but had to swing by his place for something”.
“Oh Miya’s actually coming?” Hoshiumi sounded surprised, he and Atsumu weren’t exactly friends in the way Hinata and him were, but what was the worst that could happen.
Anika was having the time of her life dancing with Faye and surprising Bokuto. He joined them on the dance floor after she tried to pull Korai (rather unsuccessfully) and Hinata (who would have if Korai hadn’t convinced him to talk about his life in Brazil).
Though a part of her was sad that Sachiro couldn’t make it, she was sure he’d agree to a karaoke night to make it up to her.
She almost forgot all about the presence and memory that was gnawing at her.
Talk about a buzz kill.
She truly hadn’t thought of Atsumu in a long time. It wasn’t always this easy, she took a lot of time to heal and find herself outside of her relationships and what her future would hold for her.
But a part of her would never forget how much she cried when things ended and how much it wrecked her.
As she was lead back to the table that Korai and Hinata were sitting at chatting, she decided their relationship was where it belonged, in the past.
Although, fate was a bitch because it had other plans as the table came into view she noticed a new presence, one she could never forget even when she tried her best to.
He looked exactly the same as he did all those years ago, but older. So much time had passed between them that the people they were during their relationship were ghosts.
She often wondered what it would be like to see him again. The kind of conversation they’d have, the awkwardness, the anger, the regret, and she was about to find out that reality wasn’t nearly as glamorous as her imagination.
Anika took the open gap between Hoshiumi and Faye who sat across Bokuto, Hinata, and a newly arrived Atsumu.
He seemed the same but different, though she couldn’t really tell as she was staring at his profile as he spoke and laughed with Hinata and Bokuto about something. He probably didn’t notice that she arrived, it had been a couple of years since they last saw each other; but she started dreading the moment he’d realize it was his ex sitting across him.
“Faye and Anika, this guy is also on our team”. Hinata started to say as they sat down Atsumu pausing and turning to look at the people who’d just joined the table.
He first looked at Faye and shot her a charming smile; one that Anika was too familiar with; her heart began racing even though she didn’t want it to.
“Atsumu Miya”. He said his voice sounding thicker than the one Anika remembered. She noted he wasn’t exactly that ill tempered teenager anymore.
She took a deep breath, holding it as she looked up to meet his brown eyes. His hair was shorter than she remembered and his bangs pushed to the side, revealing that damn handsome face.
He always hated how his bangs would poke his eyes.
Atsumu’s eyes finally met hers.
Here it goes.
“Nice to meet ya”.
Those were the words that left his lips as he stared into Anika’s green eyes.
Not, hey how are you? What you’ve been up to? Have you been well? Good to see you. Hello Anika.
She was prepared for the tense moment she’d have to make small talk or hear all about how great his life had gotten since they’d broken up.
Well this sucks.
Anika thought, her stomach falling to the floor as the imaginary lit match fell into the gasoline covered box of their memories.
She felt heated.
Fck that, she was pissed.
She didn’t expect much but this was ridiculous. They didn’t exactly leave things on a good note but to pretend he didn’t even know her. That was low.
And if she hadn’t had too much to drink she could probably pretend this didn’t bother her. She would have sat through this night acting like they were complete strangers.
But she wasn’t sober.
She did drink and if there was anything she did best when she was drunk it was wearing her heart on her sleeve even more then she did when she wasn’t drunk.
Her expression must have been something noticeable as Hinata gave her a questioning look and Korai tapped her shoulder and asked if she was okay.
“Yeah no I feel sick so I’m gonna go”. Anika replied shooting a look into Atsumu’s eyes as she said ‘sick’ before getting up and walking away from the table without looking back.
Not only did she have to spend the entire game watching how amazing he played but then to see him act like they were strangers rubbed her the wrong way.
Because it meant that everything they went through- their friendship, relationship, the breakup - it was nothing to him.
And just to put the cherry on top of a crap filled day the words echoed through the club and her heart:
Anika’s felt her throat drop into her stomach as she opened the picture Faye sent to her. They had taken a bit of time to get ready and were rushing into the stands when Anika’s hangry side threatened to appear and Faye offered to get something for them to munch on and left.
She had taken a seat responding to Sachiro’s messages that she didn’t look up at the stadium until the picture loaded itself and she saw this handsome guy Faye was eyeballing.
That’s Osamu..why?
Whose match is this?
Anika’s heart was pounding in her chest as she looked around her seeing all the jerseys and handheld fans that showed Korai’s number 16, Kageyama’s 20, Romero’s 5, Ushijima’s 11 and so on. Countless Adler merch lining the rows beside her.
Then she glanced over to the bleachers across her. The emblem of the golden jackal spread out all around the rows. Numbers popping out to her 21, 12, 15, and 13.
Miya 13.
Her heart skipped a few beats. The screaming surrounding her began to muffle, the lights dimming except it felt like there was a spotlight mocking her, shining just on that damn Miya 13.
“….Ani”. She felt a nudge on her shoulder as she looked up to see the blue questioning eyes of best friend. Anika looked down at her hands overflowing with onigiri.
“I just got a few different kinds, not sure what you were craving.” Faye stated as she sat down, “You okay? You look like you saw a ghost”.
Seeing a ghost would have been better.
Anika gave a big smile, “Yeah I’m good, I’m just going to use the restroom. I’ll be back”.
Faye gave a shrug as she sat down and put the onigiri on the seat beside her.
- - -
Anika stared at the water running over her hands. Her head spinning at the realization that this match was his. She had thought she would be long over this guy.
It’s been years.
She shook her head as she looked at herself in the mirror, her hands working themselves up to fix the winged headband on her head.
Out of all the teams, why is it his team?
She told herself it didn’t matter. They were strangers now. And she wasn’t here for him.
Right! I’m here for Rai!
She cheered putting her hands in fists mentally beating the thoughts of running into him out of her head.
She gave herself one last preppy smile as she opened the door and left the restroom.
Besides it was a huge stadium she wouldn’t run into him.
She shook her head one last time as she walked back to the stands.
- - -
Atsumu felt overstimulated standing in the hallway with his teammates and rivals all at once.
With Omi just brushing off his joke and Shoyo’s attempts at cheering him on, he needed a breather to get his head in the game.
He walked off exiting the men’s changing area and into a hallway leading to the stadium.
“Yeah you’re not missing much, I’ll let Rai know once I see him”.
He heard a voice say as he turned to see who was talking. All he saw was a rather short looking lady with a winged headband.
Her hair a light brown, it almost looked like cinnamon sugar.
Cinnamon sugar.
That shot him back to his high school days; he once knew someone with hair just like that.
And he hadn’t thought of her in years or that was what he liked to tell himself.
He doubted she wanted to see him, let alone hear that he asked about how she was.
He mentally smacked himself, this definitely wasn’t him getting his head into the game.
He looked up as the lady in front of him turned around. And then he saw her, his breath leaving his body, his heart freezing, and his feet stopping like it was glued onto the ground.
He didn’t know how he left that hallway but somehow he was standing there almost meeting some stranger’s eyes and now his back was pushed against a nearby wall.
Why was he hiding?
So what if he saw her again. It wasn’t like it was a crime and this definitely wasn’t him avoiding a long forgotten problematic relationship.
He held his breath as he peeked back into the hallway and saw that it was empty.
He let out a breath, one he didn’t know he was holding.
“What you looking at Tsum Tsum?” He heard Bokuto’s voice before he looked back and saw that he too was peeking out into the hall.
“Nothin’.” Atsumu replied as he stood up straight and began walking down the hallway beside his rather energetic teammate.
He decided he must have been seeing things. The last time he heard, she had taken that scholarship in America after graduating.
Yeh ain’t no way that was her.
He really needed to get out more all this training was making him hallucinate.
“I want some of Myaa-sam’s rice balls”. He heard Bokuto saying as he shook his head and followed him.
Yeh all I need is some of Samu’s grub and I’ll be good.
After chapter notes: Gao and Faye are siblings. Hoshiumi, Hirugami, and the Hakuba siblings all attended Kamomedai High School. Anika met Hirugami after Haru (his dog) went missing, Haru tackled her after she leaned over to look at his collar after he ran away. Anika and Hirugami later discovered they attended the same college. Hinata just arrived back from Brazil two weeks ago. He met up with Bokuto a night after his flight landed and stayed up the entire day talking about his journey into MSBY.
I won't lie, I always hate when this happens cause I feel like it really upsets San. He always talks about how people say he looks mean, unapproachable, scary, etc and he's not. He's probably the sweetest Idol out there. The man just has RBF and as someone who has RBF it is very frustrating when you are just sitting there and people are constantly saying you look mad or scary or whatever. The man is just existing. Leave him alone.
I was originally wanting to prove that Cobra never going to high school. But I ended up finding something more intriguing about the whole situation. Remember this credit scene from Final Mission?
Why would Murayama go to meet Cobra in person like that, in front of the whole Sannoh Rengokai's members? I feel like there is an underlying issue in this scene. Which come to my assumption that Murayama actually doesn't want to talk about bike, it was something else.
But upon the presence of other members that might be Murayama didn't expect to be there (but hello, it's Sannoh! They're always in a group anyway), he holds it up. Instead, he asked about bike. Cobra, in the other hand might seem like stoic and has a personality like 'I don't give a fuck', but he's not. He knew all along that bike was never Murayama's concern that's why he asked, "Can you get a license?"
Cobra knew it and he played dumb (such a snake—well, he is). With that question, it'll postponed their talk because they want it to be private. Just both of them. But when it comes, it wouldn't just about bike. It might something else, about life for example.
I might get it wrong, but almost everyone in fandom portrays them as oblivious. But no, I don't think so. They might be oblivious, sometimes. But not every time. Presumably, they're just awkward around each other. Because, no doubt, they just known each other as a person not as a leader of some gangs.
Back to driver's license. I don't think Cobra would be that cruel to Murayama. Because I have an assumption about him, and his bike and it linked to MUGEN era. Let's take a look on this scene from Road to HiGH&LOW.
Three of them are childhood friends, but let's dive into the details. Noboru wore a high school uniform which means he went to high school. No wonder, because he went to university as well (dropped out, though). Then, by this scene, you may ask, do Cobra and Yamato went to school? My answer would be no.
Why? They're in MUGEN. They did road trip, perhaps, from morning to another morning. With that, when they have time for school? No. Because they don't go to school. They just ride.
Why is Cobra MUGEN and whether or not he went to high school linked to the question: "Can you get a license?"? Let me elaborate. According to this cart:
MUGEN's members' bike are in heavy motorcycle category which requires to be 18 years old to get a license. If Cobra and Yamato joined MUGEN in their high school era at that time, they were about 16 years old. That's breaking the law but who cares anyway they ride bike without helmet.
There are two possibilities about Cobra and Yamato's driver license:
They have driver's license but they but not the right one.
They don't have.
And why don't they go to school? It simply because they already have job. In present timeline, Yamato already taking over Asahina Garage and Cobra would take over Hino Gas Station (I assume his parents are still alive by the timeline and yes, he's not jobless. I thought he was jobless LMAO). Whereas Noboru's parents seem didn't have any business in Sannoh that's why Noboru need to be educated in order to get a job (which is realistic).
Also, in my opinion, with his personality, Cobra would never didn't want to talk about bike with Murayama just because he didn't get a license yet. It was because both of them know that it's not the real thing they wanted to talk about.
They did talk, anyway. Remember this scene from HiGH&LOW The Worst?
Was he really busy? May be not. But Cobra is a chronically offline person in my opinion, he prefers direct conversation. But hey, he picked it up, at least. Even teased about the bike. They finally get a chance to talk.
He teased because he wanted to make sure whether or not Murayama was ready to talk about the real thing. I might overthink it, but in my assumption, they talk about life, and it was adulting to be exact. In my opinion, more like my head canon, this particular talk with Cobra led Murayama to graduate from Oya High and somehow Furuya and Seki found out about it.
But hey, I Murayama did get a bike at the end, right?
From now on, it'll be just my head canons and my interpretation of their characters. They complement each other. Murayama has a childish persona and Cobra has a mature persona. But deep inside, they are the opposite of their persona. It seems like as the time goes on, as they have a lot more talk, Cobra would talk more, and Murayama would listen more.
Platonically or romantically (I'm their shipper anyway), they're comfortable with each other's existence and company. You know sometimes, no matter how much you trust in your best friend, no matter how much you love them, and you know they would never judge you, there will always things you can't talk about with them. That's how Cobra and Murayama connected.
They're both leaders, and they became leaders just because they're stronger than anyone else. They were clueless and don't know if they did the right thing with their current role. Murayama was a lone wolf, whereas Cobra was a follower. He has been tagging along with Tatsuya and Kohaku for a long time. They completed each other.
With their responsibility as leaders, there's always something they couldn't talk to their closest friends. For Cobra, he couldn't talk about it to Sannoh's member even though they're Yamato and Noboru. For Murayama, he couldn't talk about it to Furuya and Seki. That's why they talk to each other, leaning on each other's back, joining hands in the same burden. They could understand each other and glad that they find each other. That's how Cobra and Murayama connected. That's how their dynamic work.
Yamada Yuki acting as Todoroki and Maeda Goki acts as Murayama + them talking about the infamous forehead flick scene
From: Yamada Yuki 2020.05.21 instagram live translations
Above version is only for parts I managed to sub. Full version (around 12 minutes) is here (without subs). Text translations for full part under cut:
Note: Yamada Yuki did a lot of instalive during the pandemic. In this episode, he had 4 guests over: Ozawa Yuta (Daruma Ikka's Kato), Saotome Taichi (Mighty Warrior's Ryu), Nakajima Ken (Oyako's Nakaoka), and Maeda Gouki (Todoroki Yosuke)
Y: *reading comments*
“Yamada Yuki-kun, just once in my life, I want to be beaten up by you.” Please don’t say that.
“I saw Kimi wa Petto movie” That’s the drama Shison starred in! The actor’s Shison Jun not me!
Y: Ah there he is! Gouki! I was thinking of doing (instalive) together with Gouki. Did he get the invite?
Y: He’s here!
M: Hello~
Y: You know just yesterday, I was with Uchida Rio-chan and Inaba Yuu-kun (Kizzy). We were playing MonHun. And I said, I wanna do a High&Low collab since I’ve been doing instalive a lot lately. And I thought I wanna do it with Gouki.
(バイゆう baiyuu is probably some shortform for something but i couldnt figure out what it is, sorry)
M: But just now (Saotome) Taichi and (Nakajima) Ken-kun were going live with you too and I was like “Woah, they’re really doing it!”
Y: For some reason a lot of High&Low cast were doing it like one after another. And I was thinking of contacting you asking if you wanna do Murayama and Todoroki together... But I didn’t think it’ll come true this soon.
M: Sorry for suddenly dropping in!
Y: It’s fine!
M: But I’m happy to know that my name popped up eventhough I wasn’t there. Thank you.
Y: Not at all. You’re already an important part (of the cast).
Y: Considering the times we’re in I was seriously thinking that I want to do an instalive with Todoroki-chan.
M: Right now I’m entirely in a Murayama-style though. With my headband and all
Y: I was thinking about that too! I’m gonna try putting on glasses then.
M: My hair totally grown out like Todoroki’s now
M: That glasses look like Shiono Akihisa’s character though (lol) with the tinted sunglasses
Y: Ah, the one with chains, right
Y: I wonder if I have any other glasses
M: I’m gonna take the headband off for a bit
Y: Was it black framed glasses?
M: Whose?
Y: Todoroki’s. It’s not black right, he has silver framed glasses, right?
M: Yeah it’s not black, it’s silver.
Y: This is Todoroki.
M: Wait a minute—
Y: Todoroki is here.
M: *dying laughter*
M: Sorry for going out of screen
Y: Nice, Murayama’s here. It feels weird calling you “Murayama”.
M: “Y’know Todoroki-chan~”
M: Do you want to say some lines together, since we’re already doing this.
Y: The one where you pushed back your hair like this and said, “You talk too much.” That scene was so cool!
It was so freaking cool I went all Woooo~~
M: Thank you very much!
Y: Yeah where you went wham! to shut the other guy up. That was so awesome!
M: Ah, I know! How about the scene from the drama series for old times sake?
M: The line that goes “I don’t need your greetings.”
Y: You went bang!
M: It was... “Our leader is going around greeting other gangs...” and immediately after that line I went bam! And pushed my hair back a bit and said “I don’t need your greetings.”
Y: That scene was great too.
M: What was Murayama’s line during that scene again...
Y: What was it...
M: Nothing’s coming to me other than, “Let’s go, you assholes!”
M: Oh yeah, during the (The Worst Episode. 0) drama, there was that scene where (Murayama) lightly punched me in the chest, right.
Y: Right, right.
M: What was your line during that scene?
Y: The one I said to Todoroki-chan?
M: Yeah, yeah!
Y: AH! What was it again?!
Y: I think it was (same time with mdgk)
M: Wasn’t it
Y: I think it was “You have to uphold it...” or something.
M: Yeah, something like that!
Y: I can’t remember...
M: You were replying to something (Todoroki) said.
Y: “That’s how a Oya student should be.” I think it was something along those lines.
M: Then, how about that line at the start of the movie?
Y & M: (reading comments)
Y: “You should be using this (your fists) too.”
M: “You should look at the people around you better.” Exactly, that’s the line. It was something like that.
Y: I remember, I remember. “I’m here to lecture you.”
M: Oh yeah that’s right! You were lecturing (Todoroki).
Y: “Look at the people around you better.” Yeah, that’s how the script goes.
Y: The fans remember our lines better (than us).
Y & M: Everyone’s amazing.
Y: Thanks to your help I’m starting to remember.
M: I think it’s interesting that when Murayama was talking, Todoroki didn’t say anything at all.
Y: Todoroki was properly listening to Murayama and taking it in, wasn’t he! Surprisingly.
M: Yup, yup. That might be it.
M: He probably didn’t like it when (Murayama) revealed his bad points.
Y: (reading comment) That’s it! “If you’re an Oya High student...”
M: YEAH THATS IT
Y: But I still can’t remember much of the remaining lines after that (lol) Sorry!
Y: Everyone, if you have any of Murayama’s lines that you want Todoroki-chan to say, please write them here (in the comments).
M: Same with (Todoroki’s lines) too, okay!
Y: Sorry, I’m going to drink for a bit.
M: Okay.
M: But really... For Yuki-kun to think about Todoroki to that extent. I’m really happy to hear that.
Y: Of course I’d consider about him too.
M: “If you’re an Oya High student, you should try thinking using your fists more...” THAT’S PROBABLY THE WHOLE LINE, RIGHT.
Y: Ahh, that’s right!
M: (tl note: i cant figure out which line this is, sorry) kenka yori haika
M: “Just having a strong fist isn’t enough.”
Y: “Go back and learn, idiot!”
M: Ahh, I remember that line.
Y: Brings back memories, doesn’t it?
M: I was really scared when you flicked my forehead the first time.
Y: LOL
M: It was terrifying, really! Your fist was really close (to my face) and then suddenly you changed your hand like this. I thought you were holding a weapon or something!
(TL note: the forehead flick was an adlib from Yamada Yuki)
M: I was really freaked out!
Y: Was that, did we did it all of a sudden?
M: The forehead flick wasn’t written in the script in the first place... And during filming you just put it in, if I remember correctly...
Y: Yeah, I was going for a punch..!
Y: But then I thought, this (using a fist) isn’t what Murayama wants to teach to Todoroki, thats why I changed it to a flick instead.
Y: And then in the THE MOVIE, Todoroki-chan did it back (to Murayama), tying it all back to that original scene.
M: Ah, yes, I thought it was fitting.
Y: Thank you for that, really.
M: The director mentioned that too.
Y: I’m really grateful that you did it.
M: Someone commented that “Murayama has a lot of wise quotes”, exactly!
Y: Then, please choose any line you like.
M: Is it okay for me to choose?
Y: Of course. Whichever you like
M: *reading comments* Are you okay with the time? Sorry for taking so long
Y: Not at all. I was planning on being live or around an hour or so
M: There’s quite a lot of lines that I want to say
M: Ah, but I definitely wanna say “Todoroki-chan~!”
M: Okay I’ll go with the “If you’re an Oya High student, you should try thinking using your fist...” and punch! Yeah, that’s the line I wanna say.
M: But that’s kinda. So like, please say your Todoroki line as soon as I’m done saying mine. Because it’ll be embarrassing otherwise.
Y: Wait, what line was it again.
M: I know! Let’s make it like we’re talking with each other.
M: I’d say “Todoroki-chan~ “If you’re an Oya High student, you should....”
M: But it doesn’t really match with “I don’t need introductions.”
M: Eh...what other line can fit...
Y: Todoroki-chan, Todoroki-chan
Y: You say “Yahoo~!” And I’ll say “I don’t need introductions.” Then you do the punch thing. Sounds good, right?
M: Ah, okay, I get it! I’m the one who say “yahoo~” right
M: Okay, okay, let’s do it!
M: I haven’t acted in a while so I’m pretty excited
Y: I’m gonna channel my inner Todoroki now
M: Me too. Should we start?
*nods*
“Yahoo~!”
“I don’t need introductions.”
“Todoroki-chan~ if you’re an Oya High student, you should think using your fist more.”
M: I can’t help wanting to smile the whole time!
Y: Embarrassing!
M: Sorry after the yahoo I didn’t say “Todoroki-chan”
Y: Yeah, it’s probably the nerves getting to you.
Y: I’m so embarrassed... Oh, Ozawa-san from Daruma Ikka had a good laugh out of it.
M: That was fun~
Y: Nice yahoo~
M: Thank you. I don’t think I’ve talked with Ozawa-san before.
Y: Yeah we don’t really interact with Daruma much, especially Todoroki-chan...
M: Nice to meet you, I’m Maeda.
Y: Thanks again for doing this together with me. It’s a top of the top instalive.
M: I’m happy to hear that
Y: If possible. If there’s a chance to do this again, would you come and be a guest again?
M: Of course, anytime!
Y: I’ll contact you if that time comes.
M: That was really fun, thank you!
Y: Thanks again for that amazing performance. Truly, thank you!
M: Bye bye, see you again!
Y: That was really cool. It became a High&Low skit thing.
Hello everyone! It has been too long! I want to first apologize for the absence, I’ve been really busy being a mom as well as going through somethings personally. I have decided to start a new Atsumu smau and would love your support as I do my best to pursue this. I will be leaving Love Loop up in hopes I can go back to it and complete it once I square away where I want the story to go. Thank you again for all the love you’ve shared and hope to see you soon 💕
