I was watching reactions to the entirety of Epic yesterday cuz I was bored so… have this lol
After the infection returns and they both realized at the same time what they’ve done. Worse, PK had foreseen the vessel failing, he knew all along it had blemishes, and he sent it away anyway, for that future free of the infection he saw
(yes, ik i play around with different headcanons a lot but I do want to entertain different interpretations of this morally gray man’s actions)
Lyrics: Would you fall in love with me again (Epic the Musical)
Yes! Finally someone heard my thoughts!
Precioso arte 🫶🏼
wow! I've been looking for a Hollow Knight webcomic for ages! You're doing a great job!
Oh! Manythanks!!
I'm glad that you're along for the ride. :D
But also, since I've got your attention, Imma take the chance to showcase some other Hollow Knight/Silksong fancomics! They range broadly in style and content, so be mindful of tags etc etc...

Teenage Hornet by @malinadw47

Hollow Knight: City of Steel by @5thconsecutivec
This is specifically focusing on some of the multi-chapter, ongoing projects that I've seen floating around (which means I likely missed several). The depths of talent in this fandom are near infinite, it seems, and if I were to include one-shot comics and completed projects, I would miss an upcoming deadline because the list would run on indefinitely.

It's stupid but it came to me in a dream… (Not a joke, I literally had a dream like this. I had to draw it)
There's no use
How to grow your vessel
So my theory is that Pale King sealed the lifeblood creature (if there is any) in the Abyss, considering:
1) Lifeblood door is found in the Abyss exactly in the place Pale King’s seal was. In the room next to the Lighthouse he built.
2) He outlawed lifeblood use in Hallownest.
Love this theory

First known wild ‘grue jay’ hybrid spotted in Texas
Green and blue jays are crossing paths as temperatures rise.
If you happen to find yourself in south Texas and spot a strikingly colored bird, be sure to snap a photo.
According to biologists at the University of Texas at Austin, it may be a mix between a green jay (Cyanocorax yncas) and a blue jay (Cyanocitta cristata).
Unofficially dubbed a “grue jay,” the bird likely marks one of the first confirmed examples of a vertebrate animal that hybridized partially due to climate change.
This tale of two jays began around 7 million years ago, when both species split off from their ancestors on their own evolutionary paths.
Green jays are tropical birds native to Central America whose range previously extended about as far as the United States-Mexico border.
By comparison, their blue jay cousins are known to generally prefer the more temperate environments of the eastern US, and rarely fly further west than Houston, Texas...

This bird is a very strange hybrid too! Because Jay's are known for being aggressive towards other bird species. So, not only did the parent birds mate with one another, they full-on raised the chick to adulthood. Difficult by even regular standards!
This little bird has been all over the News! Super neat!
In Mexico, this bird is known as "Chara verde".
The green jay (Cyanocorax yncas) is a bird species of the New World jays, and is found in both North and South America. Adults are about 27
Very interesting! It's the first time I've seen this hybrid.
Shakra no
Some fic should made this interaction real!!!
Look I don't claim to be a genius or an expert in Hollow Knight Lore. But I never quite understood the wastes and how they like, wipe your mind. To quote the Lore Tablet: "Those foolish enough to traverse this void must pay the toll and relinquish the precious mind this kingdom grants." and Hornet confirms this by saying Ghost is of two voids: The actual Void, and the 'void' of the wastelands.
BUT ALSO??
HOWD THEY GET HERE
i know this is an old post but since we're all skongin' here: PK is Massively Projecting (he himself came from the wastes, after all!) and also the 'void' mentioned is...sort of a metaphorical one, sort of a supernatural one, maybe. My favourite running theory is that it's a 'void' only because it scrubs you clean of the influence of gods, not of the mind itself - the wastes are a place where time passes normally, rather than the time-warping effects of Hallownest where time and death don't....quite... work correctly.
It's like a fae kingdom; when you leave, the memories you made there, even the self you became, those are left behind. The strength of the wastes beyond is the strength to survive in those wastelands on your own wit and skill, rather than the oases provided by protection of a god. Very scary metaphor but something of a metaphor all the same.
I really lime that theory.
*cries*
*also crying*
I know I'm late, but I still wanted to share this.
It was a lot of fun! This is the first time I have tried to draw The Hollow Knight.
@devilcatdarling, I hope you like it!
