Sending out many good vibes to all those who have to endure emotionally abusive families this Thanksgiving. If they try to hurt you or gaslight you, please tell yourself that it is not you. It is them and their own issues. No matter what they say or do, the abuse was and is not your fault. It will always be theirs. Please lay the fault where it belongs–with the abuser. Also remember to check in with yourself and how you are feeling throughout the day. Give yourself permission to set boundaries, to say no, to leave early or walk away if you get triggered, or to even choose not to spend time with them this Thanksgiving. Let them get angry–that’s their issue. Please take care of yourself and your mental health. You have a right to make yourself a priority. ❤️

Faces on rocks

On the trip to climb Mt Touwouwan near Dunns Swamp in Wollemi National Park, NSW, Australia, I keep seeing faces on rocks. ( Photos and a write up on the climb are in my blog: http://mntviews.blogspot.com.au/2016/02/mt-touwouwan-wollemi-nat-pk-nsw.html ) Below are 4 faces from the above mentioned blog.  Has anyone noticed them besides me? 1)  Taken at Pagoda Lookout, a detour on the way to climb Mt Touwouwan ~~~ Actually it looks more like the Sphinx.

I have been climbing on the rocks. For example, I was on top of the rock pointed to by the red arrow ... see my trip report in the above mentioned blog

2)  Taken on the return trip after climbing Mt Touwouwan ~~~ This one looks like the face of a frog.

3)  On the bank of Cudgegong River ~~~ This face even has a tougue.

4)  Also on the bank of Cudgegong River ~~~ A happy Buddha
