I just know that the new ace flag is going to be the epicenter of queer online discourse for the next 5 years just like the new gay man flag was, except this time, instead of a misinformation campaign fueled by transphobia and misogyny, any actual criticism is going to be inundated with straight up misogynoir for no other reason than it was created by a black woman who refuses to be silent about black asexual experiences.
When talking about the quarter of the flag, you mean the white stripe? In my case, I loved that one ‘cuz it was the one that made me feel confident steeping into the community/label (as a “non asexual” or an “ally” at first).
