“Oi, buddy, what’s up?” Luffy was a bit surprised that Blizzard approached him with such guilty-looking expression especially because the captain wasn’t the first person to scold their fluffy crewmate in general. The youngster tried to read his friend’s mind although he didn’t know well how to speak dog. However, he understood immediately that Blizzard felt bad for something so he tried to cheer him up by ruffling the white fur.
“Shishishi, whatever you’ve done no hard feelings! C’mon let’s go to the kitchen and see if Sanji would have food for both of us!”
Blizzard smiled and wagged his tail, happy to know that the straw hat wearing teen wasn’t sore with him. He then went up and licked the boy’s face, leaving a trail of slobber behind before he followed behind him.

One Piece Musings: the skull & crossbones
One aspect of One Piece I’ve never seen addressed or discussed is the contradictory nature of the Jolly Roger (or skull and crossbones) in Chopper’s flashback.
It’s presented to him as a sign of something that can overcome the impossible. Specifically, it’s a sign of a miracle cure. Because of what Chopper associates the Jolly Roger with, he ascribes the same meaning to it medically. But this turns out to be false. In the context of medicine, the Jolly Roger represents poison and death; it’s something bad.
It’s interesting that the positive interpretation Chopper had was ultimately wrong. It emphasises the need, as Kureha tells him, for knowledge as well as kindness. Having good intentions without knowledge of what it means doesn’t help anyone. Secondly, it shows that the ideology of the skull and crossbones, while a positive symbol in certain pirate settings, is not equivalent in medical settings.
I just think that’s an interesting nuance in the story that I’ve never thought about.
what if ,,,we got one piece reanimated like bnha quality instead of this hollywood live action i would die
If we could maybe get an animated thing in live scenes, I think that’d be cool.
I got bored so here’s some Straw Hat sketches
Happy One Piece Day! Here’s few highlights from the 20-Year Anniversary exhibit at Tokyo Tower… It was so moving to see Oda’s inked manuscripts from the earliest arcs on display, complete with all the lettering panels and correction fluid and editing notes. Here’s to two whole decades of adventures with the Straw Hats, and many happy returns!
