psa don’t read supergirl: woman of tomorrow before seeing the supergirl movie. see the movie first and THEN read the comic. and if you’ve already read the comic um. maybe set expectations low before you see the movie. I think I would have liked it if I hadn’t read the comic first but basically they took what is a fairly subtle beautiful story about grief and made it a superhero action film which is. fine
