“I remember you around a few times but I didn’t pay much notice honestly. You were just another political face that Arthur fraternized with on a weekly basis. I remember I brought you some tea once and I did similar things while but I don’t think you knew who I was or if you even cared.” He laughed, but there was a hint of sadness in there that could just about he heard. “Oh and just don’t question what Alfred does, if we did that to every one of his decisions that’s all we’d do for a living.”

He winced. Wel, he wasn’t wrong - Gilbert couldn’t remember for the life of him anything about that. Usually when he visited Arthur it was for a wedding or for a war - and that’s all Gilbert was focused on at the time.

“Sorry, I was just hyperfocused back then…But Hey, we’re here now!” He grinned.

He just shrugged his rather large shoulder and huffed, more to himself than at the Prussian. He just looked down for a second before he lifted his gaze. “Honestly Gilbert don’t worry about it, if I took everything that everyone did to me to heart I would be a very petty man.”

“Yes, Dylan, I’d be happy to…what would you like to know??”

“Oh okay then.” He nodded and he tried to remember that far back, which was harder than he though as he had blocked most of those years out. “So was he a King or what? And I don’t remember seeing you around much at Arthur’s in that time.”

“Ah, yes, he was definitely the King of Prussia. There’s like a spot in America - called “King of Prussia”, a small city, its named after him…not sure why they didn’t just tuse the name, but whatever…” he shrugs. “I came and went - our rleationship had only just begun -on friendly terms, so our alliance was a bit shaky. We grew apart when Alfred was fighting for independence, I helped him with that and Arthur was of course furious, but we made up, especially when Napoleon came around. Most of the nineteenth century was when we were very close.”

“What was Fredrich the Great then? Was he Prussian? And if he was what he a King or an Emperor?” He scratched his chin. “With me it was always smaller Kings in Wales and then one day Arthur stepped in and wiped them all aside.”

“Er, yeah! He was definitely Prussian. Like, the most Prussian!” He laughed. “He came around mid-18th century. Remember the Seven Years War? That…was when me and Arthur got close, he was in charge of that.” He rubbed the back of his head. “So, a bit late.”

“Just in general. I’ve always been confused with who ruled Prussia when I was independent a long, long time ago. Like did you have a King? Was it a family thing?”

“Ahaha, well…define ‘a long time ago’….I had a king, sort of, for a while - really, he wasn’t allowed to call himself a ‘King of Prussia’ - had to be a ‘King in Prussia’…that happened around the 1700s. My history is actually…pretty recent, as far as things go.”

Hetalia Butt Headcanons:

America, Russia, Australia, Germany, Prussia, Ireland, Hungary, and Scotland all have rather firm and muscular butts because of how often they work out.

Italy, Romano, Wales, China, France, and Northern Ireland and most of the other nations have a nice, normal butt.

Japan, Liechtenstein, Taiwan, and Canada all have cute bubble butts.

Spain has the ass of a god.

And England and Austria’s are like cardboard.
