I really hate the phrase "I love you just the way you are" because that implies that somehow the way I am makes me unlovable. that you're somehow doing something special because you love me despite my flaws. no.

after I first saw inside out I had this really pivotal moment where I said I really related to Sadness and then realized what the implication of that was. I couldn’t express my feelings but could talk about them in my relating to characters.

then last night I told a girl on my floor how I ordered the DVD and that it should be here by Friday. and she said “you remind me of Joy!” and I kinda looked at her funny and tried to explain that that is not who I felt like but she was adamant that I was Joy. I think it’s interesting how so many things can go unnoticed if no one is there to look for them.
