do not have discord sex i was stroking my shit and discord face id'ed my cock as the 5300 year old mummy otzi i can't log in anymore
celestia is such a funny character like she's constantly manipulating twilight and friends to do shit instead of just asking and you could arguably frame that as being bc she's a "god" and pushing fate to her design or whatever, except that she engages with the group like a normal and relatable person, which makes it more like villainous machinations, except 90% of this manipulation goes towards things like "I don't want my party to be boring shit again. put my little country girl blorbos in there with zero prep so they fuck it up bad"
you think you've fucked anything up around princess celestia and she's like heh. no worries. all according to keikaku
Celestia instantly makes more sense as a character when you ignore the princess stuff and remember that she's a 1000+ years old wizard. Of course she does manipulative trickster stuff to teach moral lessons and/or cause chaos to amuse herself, that's classic wizard behavior. Of course sometimes she's actually socially awkward and bad at personal relationships and has bad ideas that she thought were good that result in her eating shit embarrassing style, that's classic wizard behavior. Of course she lets the aristocrats and nobles run around being assholes she's still running on wizard advisor programming, she's basically trying to merlin the entire upper class of equestria instead of just a king and some knights. "Yeah uuhhh we'll release the incarnation of chaos himself from his ancient prison because we think this shy girl can be friends with him", terrible plan if you're thinking like a ruler, amazing plan if you're thinking like a wizard. Just look at Canterlot 'Castle' for five seconds and ask yourself if that's in any way a castle. No. Wizard tower, yes. Wizard.
You are so right actually

Honestly, painting trees with Q-tips is going to be my new hobby, this is a lot of fun. :D I don't think I shared the scan yet, so here you go~.

I think I’m literally never gonna be sick of this masterpiece. I think watching it on a loop for eight hours could fix me. Dancing’s what clears my soul. Dancing’s what makes me whole.
I just love that this very video is an accumulation of thousands of years worth of art made by people who have never met each other. The concept of this video was so completely unfathomable to every single artist who made the sculptures and yet they’ve all put something toward the creation of it.

One of the coolest concepts ID: Invaded has (it has many cool concepts!) is the idea of a serial killer that kills by creating more serial killers. It's so perfect for an episodic whodunit series cause it provides an overarching story that organically makes it's own mysteries. Along with all the other stuff the show has going on it's so well designed

The Works of Vermin by Hiron Ennes
Guy Moulène has a simple goal: keep his sister out of debt. As an exterminator, that means hunting the uncanny creatures that crawl up from the river and attempt to infest the walls of the city. His latest quarry is different: a centipede the size of a dragon with a deadly venom and a ravenous taste for artwork. As it digests Tiliard from the sewers to the opera houses, its toxin reshapes the future of the city. No sane person would hunt it, if they had the choice.
Guy doesn’t have a choice.
Bodies of Magic by Freya Marske (@fahye)
To graduate the Academie of the Grand Duchy of Sieuxerr, every mage with a healer’s gift must endure a five-day trial. The exam groups are chosen at random, and all must pass together or fail together. What the exam should not include is the dead body of a classmate, a brilliant scholar who would’ve been first in their class, appearing in the exam hall on the first day of the trial.
Five scholars. Five secrets. Five days to solve a murder and pass the most important exam of their lives, and maybe uncover a secret large enough to change the world. (Or: five queer nerds solve a murder and have some feelings.)
