so about folklore

so, folklore is the first album release since red that i’ve been, well baggage free for. not completely, but i don’t have any recent heartbreaks. of course, my healed scars still exist on my heart but there’s no open wounds.

everytime taylor has released something in the past it has aligned with a recent heartbreak. but this time, it’s different. i’m not perfectly okay. but it feels different.

i absolutely adore this album. i’ve been longing for something like this from taylor, and it’s everything i could have hoped for and so much more. thank you for another amazing piece of art. thank you for sharing this with us taylor. you’ve poured your heart out and i am so grateful to be alive at the same time as you. @taylorswift
