One of the lads was over at my London flat the other day, and I Instagrammed a picture of him and said, “Look at this cutie,” and a million outlets reported that I was coming out as gay. I’m not gay, but two of my mates came out when I was 15 and it was a joy to support them because, as a group, we are all secure enough in who we are. What makes this even worse is that Drogon will spend over 200 years alone, flying aimlessly till he dies. That’s his ending, after years of being one of the most loved creatures on the show, he gets the loneliest and yet, most depressing, ending.

The ending of Game of Thrones is just awful. Not because of the ships which are doomed for good, not because it was not a happy ending but because it retcons so many things which were stated before and because it shows that a whole bunch of important facts that were built up for seasons were there without a reason, for nothing. It just doesn’t make sense. They assasinated the main characters and their development through seasons just for nothing.

Also - I am so sorry Jon, they took your soul around season 7 and made you a completely different person.

What was the whole R+L=J for? For nothing.

Why was Bran a 3ER? No reason.

What were the White Walkers for? Why was there this whole Winter is coming attitude when the NK, a badass, could be killed in a blink of an eye?

What was the purpose of showing Daenerys story for all of those seasons?

What were those Bramie moments for? For nothing.

What was Gendry, a kings’s bastard there for? For nothing.

What were the Gendrya moments for? For nothing.

What were these parallels of Ned and Cat regarding Jon and Sansa for? For nothing.

All of the prophecies - did not matter at all.

The King that was promised - there was no such person.
