This really wasn’t her type of place. Far too many people, it made her uncomfortable, even more so having to watch them all being happy and having fun. She shouldn’t be here, but she lost the bet and Megu asked for this. Just what was that crazy girl thinking– it was not like it would be fun hanging around a doll like her in this setting.
So there she was, sitting in a corner farthest from the crowd, giving off grumpy glares at anyone that came near while she waited for Megu.
The first thing she noticed upon entering the mansion was the massive crowd of people--was everyone in the city invited or something? She didn’t care one way or the other, but she knew Suigintou avoided large crowds (well, any type of crowd, really), so the doll had to be observing the party from a distance. Megu weaved her way through the crowd to the other side, and in the farthest corner of the room, she saw Suigintou sitting there, her knees drawn to her chest.
“Oh! There you are!” she exclaimed happily. Seeing Suigintou hunched in a corner with a grumpy look on her face reminded Megu of the time the doll sulked in the corner of her hospital room after Megu made her try some hospital food. She looked adorable. “What do you think of my costume? I decided to go as a devil, since you’re an angel and all. Fitting, right?”
