Only Murders In the Building Season Five Episode Six: Flatbush Thoughts While Watching

1:13 — There's no way it's the wives, is it? It's only episode six. There's going to be ten episodes and we usually figure out who the killer in at the end of the ninth one.

1:34 — Oh, Loretta's doing the voice over! Is she coming back!?

2:07 — I thought it looked like someone was throwing something at her? What is that woman doing? Who is she? Have we met her?

2:35 — Why is Oliver and Loretta's house on fire? Is that Loretta's because it does not look like Oliver's?

Theme Song: Was Howard always walking the robot last time? I checked my last post, and yes, he was so that can't be the Easter Egg. Oh... what is Charles wearing? What are they all wearing? They look like detectives from a noir movie but in color. This looks like something Loretta would wear and I'm not sure why.

1:15 — Oh, Detective Williams is back! I bet she's so going to scold them!

1:55 — Oh, who fixed the Velvet Room? Why didn't they take pictures?

2:35 — At least, she believes them. I mean, she has good reason to. And she's right, it has to be someone in the building. Could it be Althea or the new doorman, Randall? In the "Previously on..." the only member they reminded us of was the robot named after Lester. Could it be the programmer of the robot?

3:30 — The pre-school? Isn't her son, like, a year or two old?

5:48 — Oh, Winnie? I'm pretty sure we haven't seen Winnie in the present time since season one. I figured maybe he died off-screen. Also, Ritalin is a medication for ADHD, and I have ADHD and I personally disapprove of those without ADHD taking them to help them focus. You can already focus better without the medication than I can on it.

Nicky was clearly murdered.

I kind of really liked writing down my thought process for the season four finale, so if I remember each time, I'll do it for every episode. My suspect list will wait until I finish all three episodes.

Oh, I hope Theo and Lucy appear this season. I understand that Theo fits in better than Lucy, though.

Watching:

2:00 — "Accident?" Did the police not see how much blood there was?

2:15 — Ew! Oliver's sucking the cocktail sauce off the shrimp. I find shrimp already gross. (I'm a vegetarian, and fish freak me out.)

3:35 — Yeah, Mabel! That did not look like an accident!

4:00 — It's not exactly uncommon in TV for murderers to make their murders look accidental. Ever watch Criminal Minds?

Theme Song: It's been a while since I've seen the theme song. I can't remember what's normal and what's not. Is it me, or are there more animals in the tenants' windows?

I hope Theo appears, I really like his character. I also think he's good for Mabel.

2:10 -- "Hey, Sazz, you okay!?" Aw, at least, Charles is making sure she's okay, even if she's kind of lying to him. She's making sure he's okay.

3:06-3:14 -- Not related but accent letter choices, why can't they have that on laptop keyboards, instead you have to know like shortcuts and then some laptops don't have those shortcut buttons. Like my old laptop had a numeric keypad so if I wanted to do the em dash, I would hold "alt" then push 0151, but my new laptop keyboard doesn't, so I can't make that dash and I use it more than you think. Look at the lazy double dashes, I've put.

3:18-3:27: "Every time we solve a murder that's when the next body drops. It's like when one murder door closes, someone we know either gets stabbed, poisoned, or shot." I guess that's kind of true? Jan stabbed herself and then poisoned you. "Glitter Guy" attacked Mabel and she stabbed him like the awesome girl she is. (I would say bad*** but I don't like to curse. So what's the age-appropriate way to say that?) Charles pretended to be stabbed by Alice. I don't actually think that happened last season though. There was when Donna poisoned Ben and nearly killed him and then Cliff pushed him down. I guess, Cliff nearly committed suicide. Also he already killed Glen.

3:28-3:35 -- "Why would you say that? You know my wedding is tomorrow. Loretta's on her way now, here to the murder building." That didn't occur to you when you picked this place as the place your wedding would take place at? Your podcast is called "Only Murders in the Building".

4:02 -- It's always kind of annoying when the villain is like "do this or I'll kill you" like they're not going to do that anyways.

Well, it seems that my theory that Sazz wasn't dead yet is wrong. The murderer cleaned up the scene. But I was right that she was writing with her own blood.

They are not the killers.

Who is the Killer? Last Day Suspects (Spoilers for "Blow-Up")

My primary suspect is Marshall. I don't know why exactly. He didn't exactly "inject" himself into the investigation. He seems innocent enough but that's how you catch the audience off guard. He is on the movie and he was the one who speculated the killer was fit to do the shooting and the clean up in such little time. But I don't know why he would've killed Dudenoff. But it could be two killers. I honestly don't know.
