Counter Weight by Friends at the Table is one of their strongest seasons. Not because it's perfect in its execution, it's not the most technically impressive. It just has the best villain I've ever seen. What does it mean to see god as big when god wants you to toil? Is it worth it to sell millions of lives away in order to appease god? What does it take to kill god? Is it a super weapon, no. It's bodies and bodies and bodies. It's just flesh and metal and whatever is in between. You don't win the war, you survive it until the other side can't. God exists in the gap between perfection and humanity. You have to kill it if you ever want to get closer.
