Cite Solei: Life on the Fringe of Existence

Antonio Bolfo captured these images of the town of Cite Solei, the biggest dumping site in Port au Prince. A vast community has grown around this site, where families live by the mass garbage piles and scavenge to find food and scrap metal among the refuse. These people are in desperate need of assistance, yet they have not been helped by the millions of dollars of aid given to Haiti by the international community after the January 12th earthquake.

With no where else to go, these people continue to live on the fringe of existence.
