If I'm honest..

I'd say that some people just like to make a spectical..a display without having their heart invested in order to show other people that they care about any given thing/person. Those people piss me off! But I'm not being honest...I'm trying to believe the best about people...and pray to God for how I feel. Trying to not let my emotions fuel my sight. (Although sometimes your feelings be as right as rain!)

Even if it’s true, you shouldn’t teach girls to respect that sort of affection.

I can't sleep...

Late night confession: I had a friend's boyfriend tell me that if he wasn't with my friend he "would've chosen" me. :/ they are married now and every time I think of them I roll my eyes at the horror..I just don't think that was something you say to anybody, especially when you with their homie. Sometimes I wonder, if he said it to see if I would tell her. I'm just not that friend...especially when I trust he genuinely has loved her since forever. Oh yeah, missed a day but now, we on...5!

So often we have to have SOMEthing or one to blame. God's gracious enough to give us things/people, tools to be used (not abused) and stewarded well to grow us, mature us, teach us and Glorify Him. When your situation goes left, we are too quick to blame the tool instead of our own sinful heart. That's a problem for those in Christ.

One of life's lessons

If you find yourself in a new situation and you happen to be light year's ahead of your new company, don't slow down to match pace with anyone. That's impossible. You were made to run your race. If you see people being pushed ahead of you. Don't try to catch up. You'll mess up your rhythm. In the track of life, there will be many walking, jogging, sprinting, crawling, panting all around you. Don't feel guilty for or be discouraged by the level of another's progress. Stay in your own lane. It's part of His plan and your actions won't change it.
