The job search in California is not going as well as I had hoped. Though I did have two interviews I have yet to hear back so I’ve been applying to more options. I’m really hoping I don’t have to start applying to jobs that don’t have fixed schedules, but I’m slowly preparing myself for that possibility. All I can do now is keep hitting apply and submitting my resume.

I hope I get a job soon because my independent personality hates having to rely on my husband for money. I know we’re a team, but we’ve always handle our finances separately and I like not having to ask him for money. Plus the extra money I make will help with our baby savings and paying down some debts!

I finally heard back from a credit union and start my full time position on Monday morning!!!!! I'm so blessed to get a job so soon and can't wait to see where my career progresses in the next 4 years!!!!

Did my first serious ad match and I'm super excited to get these amazing deals! Too bad Chance has to take the car tomorrow 😞 but I'll either go tomorrow night or Friday morning!!!! Hopefully everything goes as planned. My spending limit is $30

Though a lot has happened the past couple month the most important (and cutest) is the addition of this little guy to our family. Diablo was in rough shape when we bought him. He weigh less than 8 pounds, was covered in dirt and he clearly never socialized with humans before. Seems like the breeder only saw him as a way to get money bit a living being 😠 But in the time we’ve had him he has gained almost 10 lbs, his coat is much healthier and he has a bright and loving personality. He’s the perfect addition to our family and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us

Our cross country adventure has begun... I can't wait to see our friends in Harlingen TX. Being with somebody in the military gives us an opportunity to meet so many people! even though we eventually split ways, it gives us friend all over to visit!

Sadly I have to recreate my cover letter for the accounting position because I somehow lost it on my computer 😢.

Ran to the beach and back today. A good 2 mile and then we hit breakfast and walked down the Oceanside Pier. This place is so beautiful and it's surreal that we'll be living here so soon! We got accepted for the apartment complex we applied for yesterday, so all that's left to do is enjoy California until Saturday then get ready for our big move!

Some photos from our adventure today. We drove around Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, and San Diego. We did a drive by for a house but no viewings yet. Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive in that department. On the bright side, there seems to be a lot more houses popping up for rent on Zillow and Trulia.

We've arrive in California and it's like a whole other world compared to the towns I've lived in!!!! I'm excited to explore more tomorrow!!!
